NextRace Countdown Widget
- 3 widget size: 2x1, 4x1 and 4x2 for bigger screen
- can choose two display modes: Countdown or Simple Date
- 4 colors and trasparency
- reminders for Qualifying or/and Race with individual sound
- switch on/off Practices counting
- switch on/off the picture of race map
The widget update rate is 1 minutes. The app is completely offline it doesn't need internet to use. It makes with Android 5.0 Lollipop features.
How to use Widget:Widgets are little applications which can be placed on the homescreen or the lockscreen, of your Android device. Adding widget to your Home screen is easy:1. Tap and hold on an available space one of your Home screen.2. Navigate through your Widgets and select Nextrace Countdown Widget.3. Tap and hold the choosen size of widget and Drag and drop onto the available space.4. Change the settings and tap the done icon on the top to save Widget settings.
◄◄◄ IMPORTANT!!!! WHY DO NOT DOWNRATE BECAUSE IS NOT THE APP'S MALFUNCTION : ►►►
- If you have any problem with the accuracy of the countdown widget, it is NOT the widget's malfunction! Either your service provider sent you a wrong date infos or your phone didn't syncronize the date the right way last time (there is a bug in some phone types' ROM)! In this case you should turn off the "automatic date&time" in the Date&time options menu!
- If you can't find it in the widget list you can try to reinstall and restart your phone too! Or: Some phones install apps to the Phone Storage (or SD card) instead of the Internal Storage. You have to move it to Internal Storage in the apps manager and the widget list will show it!
- And pleeeeease don't downrate if you don't know what is widget and can't add it to your homescreen!! It's not my app problem! Please see the examp video! And read the How to Use description!

I used to love this widget but now it doesn't offer the ability to resize it. It's all congested with the text overlapping at every opportunity which makes it almost unreadable. The 4x2 is the biggest offering and it's hideous to look at.
Great widget just what I needed! Had an issue with the widget not refreshing. Just needed to turn off battery optimisation as mentioned. Not easy to find but this is how to get to it. Settings > Apps & Notifications > Next Race Countdown > Advanced > Battery > Battery Optimisation > All Apps > Next Race Countdown > Don't Optimise
Brilliant timer for upcoming races, have used this for at least one season and I always know what's coming 😃
Always been an excellent widget to remind me of upcoming races, however when I switched to a Mate 20 Pro it takes too much screen space with 5x2 the only usable size. Wish I can get a 5x1 option.

Sometimes does update on screen but when open it up the details are correct. Slightly annoying but works well.

Why, oh why would you make a 2x1 widget span across a 2x2 area? It doesn't need to be this large. The developer is probably the kind of person who goes to theatres and drapes his personal belongings on both seats next to him, in order to "reserve" space. He probably takes up 2 parking spaces with his Smart car. A selfish design for a widget that needs to compete for available empty space. If there were another alternative that had the same info, I would replace this widget in a heartbeat. EDIT: Running on stock Pixel 4XL.
I've been using this app for years, and just love the widget that gives me the countdown to my next F1 fix. Top notch. Thoroughly recommended.

Very good, would be great though if there was more categories than F1 such as GT world challenge europe, Australia supercars, wec, f2, super formula etc but otherwise very good app :)
australian gp date is wrong kindly fix it race weeked is on 17 n not on 26 march 2019. i really like this app using fron more than a year now . n iam always in schedule due to this app thanks

Everything is great except one thing... It didn't update with daylight savings time
Doesn't update. Showing the race starts in 2 days. But it's already completed.
By far the best one, only one problem i don't get notifications, and could you add the F1 radio notification sound
Not updated with the latest dates. Still has the pre Covid-19 dates.

Best Formula 1 App. I have been using this for about 2 years. Formula 1 races happen all over the world in all different time zones and they are constantly changing start times from race to race. But this is always my most accurate source for when a race starts. Love this app. Make sure to update it at the ends of the season. You may need to uninstall it and then re-install it again to get the best results.
