This app promotes a number of food outlets in Central London. The offers are typically 20% to 50% discounts, but the shops are those that charge fairly high prices to begin with, so a supermarket meal deal can still be better value than anything discounted by Nez. The app itself is slow to start up, pressing on an offer is sometimes unresponsive, uses a lot of battery, and stays running (constantly looking for your GPS location) even after you've exited it (you have to use the task manager to terminate it). Still, once in a while when you do fancy something different it's nice to have the discount.
Such a disappointment. I found the app quite good with a lot of gamification ideas, even if it was a bit buggy I quite liked it. The problem is that I changed my phone and all the data (1 reward, my points and my level) were just deleted from my account. I tried to contact you but never had an answer on my problem. So, as I just don't want to start from scratch, I just deleted it. Honestly one of the most frustrating experience I've had with an app like this.
This app is really good since it informs me on all the places I can grab a nice meal from that I never knew existed. However, for someone like myself who has allergies, it would be beneficial if there filter options for meals or places which provide foods that I can eat. At the moment I have to go onto each individual place's website to find a menu or their allergy guide.
Fairly easy to use, and it's great if you just want to save some pennies without extensive planning. Although it would be nice if on the map each venue would be displayed separately, instead of grouping them by proximity.
I've enjoyed using the Nez app to discover new eateries around central London at an affordable price. My only bugbear is that every time I reopen the app, it claims to not be able to find my location and makes me drop a pin in the map to tell it where I am. Yet whenever I go to my location, there's a blue dot already there showing that the app does in fact know where I am. Very odd.
Some great choices which differ on a daily basis. It would be better if there were a selection of filters, not just one. But sticking a pin in the map to show your location doesn't always work. And when you get an offer which is 99 minutes away... I don't know about you but for me that's way too far for a lunchtime!
Downloaded to use their £1 breakfast flyer that was handed out on the street but the code expired the very next day - and the reminder function didn't work. Contacted support but can't see it reinstated and it's too much effort to keep chasing. Would potentially be a good app but is a drain on battery life so uninstalled.
Works ok but needs Bluetooth. The app seems to basically work, but forces you to use Bluetooth, which I haven't needed for anything in 2 years (and didn't work for me). Doesn't even offer an alternative, eg via scanning a QR code or similar.
I like the concept but the app is appalling. I have had times where the app would fail on me when i was inside the restaurant-and yes i still had reception. Also, you have to manually locate yourself, despite GPS being turned on.
WHAT AN APP!!! I use it everyday and have saved some serious dollar! Couldn't recommend it more highly, and it gets you into restaurants you wouldn't have otherwise ventured into, often transforming lunch breaks from the mundane, into an exciting treat!
Would be good to have some of the rewards based on ones personal visit. Would be good to be able to collect your allocated max of 3 visits for points when you want not every hour. It's not easily visible how to contact some8ne on the app if you d9nt have time to email. When reaching different levels of points the rewards should be greater each time.
Fantastic way to save money and discover new places to eat in London. They are constantly tweaking and improving the UX to make sure it's the best experience for the customers. They have a great selection of cuisines with more and more restaurants coming on board each week. Love it
Easy to use and the options are good. I would imagine the options will increase with users. Kudos to the team at Nez. Have you thought about summarising savings at the end of week/month based on actual coupons used so it gives a perspective of the value proposition.
Apps has a good interface - search could be easier and more diverse reward offers. The reward offers are limited to only a handful of places and if one of those is poor the you're stuck
Have been using for the past month now. Great prices from the venues but limited choice even though I'm in the City - hopefully more will be added soon. App can also be very slow to load and has hung every now and then. Nevertheless, generally loving it.
These guys are the best! Literally every time there's been an issue (mostly caused by me or the 4g in my area) the support was outstanding! Great idea, great food and great team! Highly recommend this app.
Great for lunch time deals in London, has all sorts of food and it's saved me quite a bit of money! I would 100% recommend the app for those looking to save money on city lunches!
Amazing app if you like a good deal on lunch. It also includes maps which helps you find all of the locations and plan your journey.
I really like this app, I work in the City and there are plenty of choices with reasonable discounts on lunch and the chance to collect points and earn selected further discounts. Use this app more than others I have now!
so far we have not been disappointed with the deals but would love more food & drinks offers from pubs & bars. The best deal for food has been PIERRE VITTOIRE by far! Value for money & great staff, jazz music was good too! We are NHS workers & wor long hours so it is great using this app to get good deals.
Extremely useful app, letting you know what the best deals in your vicinity are. Great way to explore new establishments at low cost.
Amazing app! Fantastic range of offers all over London. Such a useful app to have to save yourself some money on great food! I've tried loads of restaurants/cafés I didn't previously know existed.
Offers are good but the app freezes frequently and the filter does not work so cannot take up a lot of offers as the app freezes before getting to them
App no longer works. Unable to use coupons saved to retrieve code as I get message to check my time settings. All is correct so don't understand the issue
pretty neat app, good offers and quite the variety. A bit restricted in locations, but where it's available I'd recommend it.
Can't log in to my account via email. There appears to be no sign in screen, only a signup screen. When I enter my email and guess my password I get told I already have an account but there is no reset password option
Provides a range of different types of food and drink at great prices, within easy reach of your current location. Distance/Travel time is given so you can decide whether you have time to go to a particular place

Was hesitant that this wad just another 'deliveroo' but this service is really good. 90% of the time for the same cost as a co-op meal deal i can get a far healthier nicer lunch with a huge variety
It's a great app, easy to use and gets you out there varying your lunch options. I don't use it for dinner so can't comment on that. I've taken off one star as I think the rewards are a bit meh, and you find very quickly you've gotten through all the places in walking distance so you're back to the same old same old... ideally they'd get more incentives out there to keep things fresh and varied. Otherwise pretty much perfect.
