NFC ReTag PRO
(Works with ANY android supported tag = re-writable AND write protected!)
With NFC ReTag you don´t have to write anything on the tag (-> uses the tag ID, great for small tagsizes and write-protected tags!) and NO data is send to the internet. Additional write options (for better dispatching, device independent tags etc.) are also available. Import of activity tags and beaming is also supportet.

You could combine any activities and add as many activities and cycles as you want per tag. (obviously except for writing activity tags -> depends on tagsize). For best performance and dispatching, write a special NFC ReTag tag (this is NOT an activity tag!).

An ad supported free version (with limited number of tags) and an unlimited ad-free (PRO) version is available. Please check if this app works on your phone via the FREE version before downloading the PRO version.
Supports any standard android NFC tags (NFC Forum Type 1, Type 2, Type 3, Type 4 etc.).
Hints:Issues with TASKER: Install Tasker BEFORE NFC ReTAG, enable Misc / Allow External Access in Tasker UI, enable Tasker (on/off button), try the Tasker fallback option within NFC ReTag settings!
Some security related NFC Tags (e.g. in passports) change their ID on every read attempt. This app will not work with such tags.

It's supposed to rewrite NFC Tags but you need to have the app installed to read the new written tags. So it can only be used by the owner of the app and not by other NFC devices
Lot of trackers in the app, thats not okay for a pro version. Found Trackers: 1. Google CrashLytics 2. Google AdMob 3. Google Firebase Analytics
I cannot import my tags from the free version
Can not write to blank tags. Must read tag before write can start.
Does not write. Waste of money. Use NXP tag writer.

Mute popup doesnt work anymore. It always asks if it wants to open with multiple apps when i tap a tag. Never used to ask for this app till latest update. (I know its been a while but just noticed this major problem).
My only gripe right now is the text to speech is super high pitched and annoying and I haven't found a workaround. I use it to set my Amazon echo alarm nightly via nfc tag while also setting my phone alarm (backup alarm)
Its useless
This app is great but for one issue: if sent to the background, there's no way to switch back. You have to completely restart the app. Sometimes hitting okay or save is enough to send the app to background & make you restart. Odd?
Brilliant concept. Make use of anything that already has an NFC tag!
Quit working once my phone upgraded to Android 7.0
Works with Oreo and does what I need it to. Great app.

Being able to repurpose RFID and NFC tags in new, useful and interesting ways can turn in to a full blown hobby with this app! It's a delightful challenge to come up with triggers for all sorts of tasks especially once you add Tasker, IFTTT, and similar apps to your "projects". If you like to tinker with automation, you will love the possibilities this app opens up!
Huge fan. Use this for lots of interesting things, syncing my emails without having to turn battery draining auto sync on, auto-connect to bluetooth speakers and play music. I like it a lot. Feels really great to be able to just drop your phone on a tag and watch magic happen.
My Galaxy Note 4 won't write tags with proficiency. Spent an hour scanning one tag and it still hasn't written. Two hours and five minutes and this program has only written 2 tags. 😠
Works OK. Needs a way to sort or manually set the order of the tags. The ability to group tags would also be nice.

Why will it not turn off data and mobile data. Other then that it work.

Has made life more interesting by automating those mundane tasks. Great for me as I'm travelling between the car and office and changing phone sound profiles many times a day!

This is very interesting stuff and you have my attention. I'm trying to learn about NFC but the documention with this app is lacking at best and terrible at worst. I just keep trying to get my mind around all of this but I'm in the dark. A comprehensive help section would make it so much more palatible. I like it and I don't mind paying for it but help a guy out and write some instructions.
