This app used to work really well, but something has changed recently, and now it struggles to read cards. The NFC on my phone appears to work, as I can use Google Pay without any issues, but my phone really struggles to read a card. It will read a card eventually, but only when rubbing the card directly against the phone, and even then it's hit and miss. Not sure if this has anything to do with the message stating that android beam is now disabled, in the settings?
To all the people reading the one star reviews, be warned they seem to be a *one time* thing, or an issue on the user's end as phone a Samsung Galaxy A50 runs this just fine with no errors or issues what so ever this works as if it where at CES being a perfect demo app, no issues never fails to save always works, I see no issues here.
Works well, but for some reason insists that my phone (pixel 3a) isn't Mifare-compatible and doesn't allow me to add custom keys, even though I'm actually able to scan Mifare 1K and 4K cards with it and with other apps.
It's just not working any longer. It stays in a reading loop and nothing shows up.... frustrating....
Disappointed it can't find an external NFC reader plugged into USB, if it worked it sounds very interesting.
Great app and offers clear analysis. One BIG issue is no functionality to export tag data as CSV. Please add!!!
I have a Galaxy S9+ and this app does literally nothing. It won't scan anything. Literally nothing happens. I've tried all the troubleshooting steps and nothing. Oh well.
This does nothing while trying to use it on a S9+. Other apps work fine with the phone.
Cannot share scan report always state write error. My friend old Samsung phone model ok but my Samsung Galaxy Note 20 5G cannot share scan report. How to fix this?
Says it saves files, but won't actually save them.
This app is actually useless. It only lets you know its type, and it says the tags type whenever you buy the tag
Cannot use the app at all, it just shows a wall of text on how great this app is. Well, it isn't.
Used it to test different RFID wallets, and it worked fine. It provides info of nearby chips.
I used it to test my credit cards & it was able to detect them via NFC just fine.
Perfect for checking if transport tickets are operational (Myki, unable to check balance, but that's Myki's fault, not NXP)
I can´t read iso 14443-2b or 14443-b cards, i can read all the others, i know it´s iso 14443b because i read it with a pn532 Elechouse. could be great if someone can explain to me, which enterprise use this cards.
A free handy tool from the NFC originator. Now I know what chip and their protocol inside many of cards in my household.
Followed the instructions and it wont load CSV files - apparently this fault came with version 4.0
unable to add user keys. can only select classic and sectors are not showing
different NFC not detected. no activity from app defected running. one plus 3
can't figure out interface, hello offers no help. tap a tag, what does that mean?
Doesn't work. Switch to fullscan hangs.Uninstalled.
The result always show javacard version 2.3, even the card using 3.0.5. Please update
Would be nice to have more details on what the latest update provides as it appears to read FeliCa cards better now.
Using to read memory data off ISO 15693 tags. Works but would like more options for output of memory data
Saving xml export is impossible and sending files to email doesn't work at all. When you click save scan it sometimes says it saved other times just spams a error message until you force quit the app. When you share to email it will open the email app and insert the title of the email but it fails to attach any files. It is impossible to find the xml files in your phones file browser probably because they are storedwhere you cannot view them and they give you no option to change save directory.
