NFHS Network Live

The SmarTV version keeps telling me I'm logged on another device (I'm not). Boots me from watching. I can get back on easily enough, but it happens nearly every two minutes. Other than that, whoever is supposed to be tracking the game with the camera absolutely sucks. Eight goals into a lacrosse game and the camera operator didn't catch one of them. Not one. I deleted the app from my TV and my phone. Wasn't worth the hassle and incompetence.

I think the idea is great and when the videos worked everything was fine. The problem is a majority, 80% our more, of my daughters games we wanted to watch had technical difficulties and there was no video at all. If that was fixed I could see rating 4 or even 5 stars but until then I'm canceling my subscription.

Interface is poorly designed. Streaming quality is bad. Camera quality is bad at every event I have watched from numerous schools all across the country. The cost is way too high for a streaming service, and now they have starting showing ads. Ads... for high school sports. You must pay to use the streaming service and now ads. A poor streaming service on an even worse designed app.

I checked this all the night before or school's game. Now this app is doing nothing but playing an ad and then giving me a playback error. I've tried this on 2 different Rokus and a tablet. I will be disputing this as a fraudulent charge on my credit card. Total garbage

DON'T DO IT!!! Twice I've subscribed. In 2020 when there were no spectators, and the feeds were terrible, both audio and video, so I canceled. Tried again in the past couple weeks, hoping they'd have it figured out, and I saw that multiple upcoming events would be streamed. Three events in 2 days had no stream. One, there was an error message about the camera, but today I couldn't watch the State Semifinal Boys Basketball game from a D1 college campus. No excuse there. Wish I could give 0 stars.

There is never a score shown, there's constantly glitches during the games, and the whole game is hardly ever on here. the last game I watched stopped playing right at the end. it's rediculous and not worth the money you have to pay for it. And the games that are supposed to be on I have to search for even when it says they are live...

Charged me $10.99 for a one month subscription to watch a single game then the feed froze. Can't have those kinds of prices with that kind of tech.

I have spent an inordinate amount of time loading and reloading the feed. Every other streaming app I own doesn't behave like this. Fortunately, I was able to fully watch the one game I really wanted to see. That's why I generously gave 2 stars instead of one.

Used to show all games for the entire season on demand, now if I want to go back and watch a game my team played a few weeks ago, it's not available. I emailed customer service about 2 weeks ago and no response yet. Another issue, if you want to rewind an on demand game by just a minute or so you're out of luck. They don't even offer a 10 second rewind/forward button. They know how to bill you but not how to help :( Annoyed that they're the only option.

Another of games are not covered as tonight's game for example. The sound is very low, the picture quality is low, the players are not given any close up, the scoreboard is sometimes absent. Trying to cancel your subscription is difficult.

I am very disappointed with this app. I have tried watching my grandgirl several times but only 2 times I've been able to watch. I've tried contacting but everything is difficult. Now trying to cancel & it tells me it's thru a different place. Very frustrating!

Completely useless. Bought a month subscription to watch my high school team in the semis, but it WILL NOT LOAD AT ALL. You call customer support, they only want emails to help resolve issues, which will not help when I'm trying to watch right now. Waste of money and time!!

Why am I seeing advertising. I paid for this service and it has trouble connecting BUT not for the advertising. If your going to advertise the offer a free version. Everytime it disconnects I have to watch a 30 sec advertisement.

Ugh...this app is horrible! On 8 Feb, I tried to watch VBB Leonardtown at Huntingtown through the app. However, when I selected that game, the app showed me the Calvert HS gym where a random practice was happening. It's not even showing the feed from the correct school?!?! It's really bad...don't bother.

Love being able to watch our schools team. Works pretty well and more schools seem to be adding the service. I don't like that I'm seeing ads lately. Either offset some of the subscription costs, or get rid of the ads please. As others have also mentioned, the on demand games don't go back nearly as far as they once did, which is pretty frustrating. It seems like a couple weeks max for on demand history. The ability to watch on 2 tv's (in same house... Same IP) would also be nice. Kids!

Don't waste your money! I paid monthly for a couple months and the videos were fine. Then I paid for a year. EVERY SINGLE TIME my kids have a game that is supposed to be showing, there is always some kind of error that is causing me to not see their games. COMPLETE WASTE OF MY MONEY!!!

There appears to be some bugs...but at least you can see games in HD. Not sure why the feed doesn't allow landscape on phone.

When we pay for a service, we should be able to watch our teams games from start to finish. It's really annoying that we can't watch an entire game. Figure it out. Or make this free so at least we aren't wasting money on a system that doesn't work!!

My experience wasn't as bad as so many others. The app worked fine, the video was sharp and audio clear, and no buffering. We did lose the feed for a few minutes, but it was related to a power problem at the host school and had nothing to do with NFHS. Also, the camera must've been automated as it floated around ALL the time. Periodically it would lose the action. But like power issue, I believe this may have been related to the host school. My biggest complaint: The $11 sub is RIDICULOUS!

The casting feature is very poor. While I'm casting, the video keeps playing on my phone and I'm unable to pause, fast forward, etc...the game on the TV. When I try to do those functions, the video displayed on my phone moves, but not the cast view. The scrolling score and periods is also very annoying, but that could be operator error.

Once they get the bugs worked out its gonna be amazing. But for now it lags, on every device or network I use it on 75 percent of the time. Clocks, scores are usually always wrong. I cant wait for this to be a better system. The need is there the platform is great but the lagging is almost too much.

Very Disappointed with Field Hockey games. There are no score or time clock updates, even though there is a display for that info, it stays at the pregame setting. You miss a lot of the game as the motion-sensing camera lags behind the play. On a penalty stroke, the camera field of view was from midfield to the stroker. You couldn't even see the goalkeeper, so we missed the play. Hoping basketball is better, since COVID restrictions keep us from attending in person.

We paid for the yearly membership due to covid and not being able to go to the games. The first 2 volleyball matches we attempted to watch never came on. NFHS told our ad that something was wrong with the way the cameras were wired. Tonight we attempted to watch football. Lots of issues here. First, no audio. Second, the score at the bottom of the screen never changed from zero. Finally, and most disturbing, is the way the camera randomly panned across the field away from the action.

not a great interface, little control over video. no resume, no skipping. playback quality is choppy and poor buffering.

I had previously left a bad review because I had difficulty unsubscribing. After I submitted a 1-star review, I was contacted by nfhs and the issue was resolved. The service worked really well while I used it. I had no issues with the app buffering or crashing. However, it was difficult to unsubscribe. Would give 5 stars if I could unsubscribe from the Play Store (like all the other apps I have subscriptions to).

it's getting better but user interface is clunky and slow. beats having to drive 3 hours 1 way to watch a play off game though. Every time you launch the app it starts playing a random game from the school you are following. Makes no sense. It should go to the user interface and let you choose what you want to do. So tired of apps trying to make decisions for me.

Streaming is getting offline all the time. Tried to watch 4 basketball games of my daughter's team. We couldn't watch the entire first game. They apologized for a technical issue. 2-nd game they streamed OK. But the score board on the screan was a mess. And they never showed the scoreboard in the gym. Then 2 games later they got offline in the middle of third quarter. Quality is not good either. Blury spots. I wish I can have an alternative to NFHS. Don't subscribe if you have any other option.

If I could rate this app less, I would. It's completely pointless. You absolutely cannot watch a game without the service interrupting. Also, the app isn't very functional. It's glitchy and takes forever to filter your options. Watching from a computer has the same issues with connectivity. This would be a deal at $1.99 a month. $10.99 is robbery. These people should be arrested for charging that much for this.

Love access to grandkids games when I cannot be there! Works great on my phone and my tv!

worst app ever cant even watch the game live. playback errors are constant. Im so disappointed i wanted to watch my alma mater play because they are on a championship run and cant even do it
