☠️DON'T LOGOUT OF THE APP!!!☠️ All of your bookmarks, notes, and highlights will be irretrievably ERASED! Other than that disaster- Functions flawlessly, books can be downloaded for offline access, is up-to-date, has a search feature to look up rules in an instant, useful, can save notes, bookmarks, and highlights, great practice quizzes- overall simply a great tool! From Texas Gulf Coast Basketball Official- member THSBOA.
I bought the digital soccer rules book. This is a very simple, and efficient, way to view the rules book. The quizzes that are available do a great job of testing your knowledge of the sport. Definitely worth the marginal fee for the digital rules book.
Great place for keeping the rules book. The quiz function is a good way to prep for the annual referee test or just for fun BUT it hasn't been updated in a few years so occasionally the answers are wrong.
Find it redundant to have to pay multiple times to access the information. I am a member of the NFHS officials association but it will not let me view the books until i subscribe again and pay. The rule books were viewable until the last update and now I have to pay again. Looks like i will just have to get rid of this waste of space on my phone now.
Just a terrible app and scene for ripping off officials. You can't buy a book any more you have to rent it for a year. Don't logout or you lose all you bookmarks and highlight.
Don't buy it. You only get the book for a year. It's a rental!! If you logout, you lose your highlights and bookmarks. Really stupid.
was a good app that I enjoyed and constantly took the quizzes, but after pointing out that questions were wrong on the basketball quiz, I have been banned from taking the quiz. I know that I was banned because another official was able to take the quiz 5 minutes before a game that I worked but I still can't take the quiz. then when I reported it in the feedback option, the feedback option was removed.
I side with those who feel that, after paying dues to officiate a given sport, we shouldn't need to pay again to download this application's rules for our sport. IFAB provides a free app with features similar to the NFHS app. I feel that NFHS should do the same. I will continue to use my printed version of the rules book.
i love this app. I have had ZERO issues. I purchased the baseball case and rule books and can easily look up rules by using a key word or phrase and use search and BAMMMM here r all the rules that would apply to my search. And i certainly LOVE all the quizes. This isan awesome learning tool. GET IT its worth the time
Being required to pay for rule books twice is not cool. All of my downloaded content was removed without notification. This app would get a 5 star review if I had access to my already purchased rulebooks digitally.
1. Doesn't offer me complimentary rules and case books for the sports I officiate as described in your website. 2. App will not allow me to contact you about this issue. Keeps saying something went wrong.
So far not good. Paid for a membership to access the rule book app and can't login. Says my password doesnt match and my email doesnt exist even though I confirmed my login credentials from the website.
I was told it's free as an official, but you have to subscribe to the rule book for your respective sports. Officials should not have to subscribe to something they've already paid for with their association fees.
Non-existent customer service. Pay a "subscription" fee early and have it expire prior to the season. Buy it on Amazon for the same price and own it forever.
This app is terrible. Great idea but terrible execution. Can't even open the app. Downloaded twice on my Galaxy S8 and can't even get to a login screen.
With the advances of technology in modern sports, this app is great to have! Fast, efficient, and resourceful!!
$7 for a rulebook I already own! I get that it takes resources to build an application like this, but there are plenty of other ways to get paid than taxing the ref.
So due to Covid, the rules committee is extending the use of the 2020 rulebook through 2021. However, that same rulebook (which we paid for) has been taken away from the app? Not accessible? You people are scum.
The app is merely a shell. If you want to "subscribe" to rules guides, it will cost you $6.99 per sport / guide.
Hangs up on splash screen. Will set there forever before finally loading...if it loads at all.
I like the app, however if my books become unavailable after 1yr I will not be happy, and most likely not renew the app, just buy the e-books
Tried to create and account 3 times and it kept saying my email and password don't match... they aren't supposed to...
I'm an official for 4 sports and none of these books are free to us when I sign up with my email I use for officiating. Further, there isn't an easy place to reference my officiating number to validate I'm an Official.
normally works great. dud update and now it crashes every time I open it
You "grant access" to the books but we still have to pay for content? That's not access.
Excellent and easy way of viewing rules at finger touch away.
Baseball is outdated, does not have the most recent rules, the new DH rule is not in the book they offer in the app
Excellent to read and easy to find reference . I love it.
Updated app, now it crashes when attempting to use with a iphone X10
So many problems. Paid for the app I can see it on one Android account but not others. Submitted a contact us to ask questions about this issue no response. Beyond that , I find it troubling that you have to pay for an electronic version of a rulebook for a organization that wants us to follow the rules. The printing on the paper version is so tiny, the paper is so thin & yellow and the layout is poorly designed it's about useless.
