This has great potential. But I'm not sure where some of it is going. The Facebook and Google Games integration both don't seem to work, it crashes when I try to open it via a notification, I thought I got past one tournament but now I can't access it? Kind of not sure if it will pass the final tests but it has promise. I hope they update soon because I really like the concept. Note 8 on Rogers.
This is a first attempt to make a general manager game that is licensed by the NFL. It falls extremely short, both in execution and gameplay. It is definitely all about watching videos or paying money. If you want a simpler version with way more upside that was done alot better. College Football Coach and Pro Football Coach. They are versions of what this game was trying for but messed up, and they are 100 percent free. Also, way more fun.
Pointless. You can't claim this as a management game when it features no management and no game. You could pick your own players but why bother when you can autoselect the best possible team with one click? Then when it comes to 'playing' a game you just tap a button and a score is simulated. That's it. An insulting waste of everyone's time.
A few bugs it seems, but not a real problem. Wish I had a playbook and could actually call my own plays and watch the results of the play. Guess time is a factor concerning a playbook and play results. Enjoying the game so far. Have only been playing for 3 days. Addendum: Have been playing for a little over a month now. Some of the bugs are very irrittating. Expect to get my daily prizes at all times, but dont always recieve them. Great game all in all. Game developers, please fix the bugs.
This is truly a waste of my time. I was looking forward to seeing it, but it turned out to be my fear... They created an engine for a soccer game and reskined it for American Football. They didn't even research to find out that receivers and running backs are completely different. I was completely done when I realized that they called both receivers and running backs BRs (like a Quarterback is a QB). Not good guys.
So anticlimactic it's unreal, there's no skill, tactical element or anything of the sorts involved.its just get stronger level players and you might win. From browsing the store I cam see its p2w. The game itself is just the end result, nothing else to it. Really disappointed. Instead of making something with substance you've chosen to go down the p2w route and sell out.not even a normal season mode where one could actually manage there favourite team through the season to the super bowl. You have licencing so why not try and build a game in the same mould as the football manager games instead of this rubbish
Game wasn't bad considering micro transactions can get you several good players very quickly. I was enjoying the game hopping on whenever energy recovered, improving players, and my fair share of ad watching for bonuses. My interest in the game immediately plummeted when I had an error within game starting I hit my reward cap... how the hell can you expect a free player to even dream of having any kind of success within the game grinding it out. When I get capped out and these other people can toss however much money they want to keep going, this is a true emphasis on how pay to win is the only way. Absolute joke made obvious by trying to pull money in, through getting people to purchase their favorite players along with faster progression.
For someone that doesn't know a lot about NFL it's a great game I always wanted to get into NFL games but as I don't know much I could never play them, this game is very easy to play for a noob at NFL football enjoying every minute of the game, just one thing doesn't in app purchases remove ads because I'm very OCD about ads and always pay when I can to remove them I don't mind the ads to get free recharge they are a great idea, I do hope I get a response to the ads because I don't really want to spend money if ads won't go plus I really do want to be a VIP player so fingers crossed you reply.
I can tell you put alot of time into this game but it was very poorly executed. Its not a real manager game. Its super cartoony. The small details like the currency, the ratings, the stats are really bad in my book. Its more of a cartoony tycoon game. Not a manager game. Theres absolutely no stratrgy to it. Its just random scores popping up. No strategy at all
I expected this to be a front office SIM along the same lines as Football Manager and was pretty excited. However, it isn't what I expected. whilst it's a nice game and plays reasonably well, there is definitely a gap in the market for a football manager-style game for the NFL and I'd be all over it! EDIT REPLY: If you look at games like Football Manager 2019, something like that would be amazing...similar to Madden's connected franchise mode! :)
This seems like a cool management game. Not quite what I'm looking for but adequate. However, I've had it for less than 24 hours and I think it has crashed on me at least 10 times. It allows you to watch videos to get different bonuses. But the game crashes at the end of the video and you dont get the bonus. Again there are aspects that I like but I dont know how much longer I can take these crashes.
I really like this game. Its a really good game and I enjoy playing. But if you are a programner or something along those lines pls consider making a Franchise like game where you play the games and you start with the real teams. Basically Madden Franchise mode but for mobile that would be GREAT! It would be more successful than Overdrive.
Overall a really good concept guys, I've been playing for about 4 days now and so far it's fun. May think about an onfield play calling visual for actually playing the matchup or even a option to watch some type of say X's and O's type movement in a matchup or the option to just Simulate as it is now. I have tons of ideas for this game, I'm in study now for C# coding and graphic design I'm gonna be creating games soon.. But anywho keep up the good work this has great game potential for Fans..
Intriguing but eventually stale. Nice to have all licensed NFL teams but essentially it's a boring fantasy football game where you only control who gets trained and who you want on your team. You don't choose plays. Ads are the worst. Game tends to freeze.
Awful. You MUST give the your Facebook contacts to progress in leagues! (I don't have any). No tactics or strategy, formations, plays, strengths or anything. I started with no RBs, out of position OL and still won games. There is no visible logic in the game stats or buying players. The game just uses timers for player development or obtaining energy, cash or coins. Or you have to watch Google ads to speed up timers. One massive clickbait. Nothing to do with football tactics whatsoever.
Just awful... I was looking forward to this release but it was a massive disappointment. You dont even see any stats from the games just a random score pops up like a slot machine. There is no way to strategize or gameplan. This is a thin shell of a game.
This review is more of a complaint about the market of these games. It's incredibly frustrating to not have a good franchise managing game on the market. I completely hate the microtransaction based gameplay. Why can't I have a game like Pro Football Coach but more in depth? Franchise Football 8 is the best one on the market but nothing like it is available on mobile. This is incredibly frustrating. Create a game worth playing and put a $2.99 price tag on it instead.
This game has lots of potential but there are loads of bugs at the moment and yes i have updated to layest version but some are still there. It keeps crashing and shutting down, load up again dors the same thing, i got package 15 thats on right now and i havent received the items from it i am owed those and i have the email to prove i paid for it saying it went through, that is a HUGE PROBLEM for you guys that needs fixing immediately. Will rate higher if these is resolved
Eh, its fun at first, but then it gets really repetitious. The training is pretty much worthless, it's a grind to get enough money to bid on a player. You cant call plays, only sim. You have to be like a level 10 just to do anything with the defence(like train or buy players). The coaching staff is through paying with these chips, which makes no sence. If the team wants to make a football manager game. Take inspiration from past nfl games like 2k5 or owner mode from madden 05-08 ps2 version.
Too many times it says no video available when I want to get boosts. I also seem to be losing power ups by the ton. I had one category where I had over 300 of them and they disappeared overnight. Pretty cool game though and engaging.
Boring.....not really sure why i bothered installing. there is no real game play - you just click through screens to get to the end of a "game". maybe if you stick with it long enough it gets more interesting, but i never got that far.
unuseable, cant get pass startup on note 9. yes, technically this is the first time playing. i have tried two different sign in methods. Facebook, and by just putting name in. i have also tried changing teams away from the Titans, but that didn't make a difference.
playing the first NFL game they had just the nfl pa with it and no actrual real teams. but this does which is great. the only thing i hate is what pushed me out of NBA GM i had that game for 3 years but lost interest when i have to pay money to level up and also buy the players. you cant keep money if you use it for players and leveling up your players
This game was rushed you can tell but it has potential. I'm gonna recommend some things I thought I was gonna see or I wanna see. I had high Hope's so here we go. 1. Live gameplay. No not like in game but when we wanna see the game and not simulate it. I wanna see what I saw saw in NFL showdown football manager. A simcast where I could see how far he threw it and who catches it and see how far he takes it. 2. I want a schedule. A football schedule where I can have my own way but not doing these tournament things. 3. A season. With our on characters now that's cool but I'm pretty sure most people expected to have a season mode where we have the NFL schedule and going on from season to season improving our players and stuff. 4. And online season vs other players. And here's what u can do with it and for the offline season. Add the simcast thing where we can see the plays no matter how u do it. If we can watch the game and have it online too then advance to another season would be cool too. 5. Last but not least more positions and a search machine and either or packs. WE NEED A WAY TO GET PLAYERS. Add limited players in packs. Do something instead of only having a auction house to gain players.
Just a money grab. Barely any content. Not a real simulation type game. I was envisioning a game where you have complete control of a franchise and get to draft, hire/fire coaches, see stats of your players, and actually play through an NFL season. This is just a pay to win game. Microtransactions are what's killing the gaming industry.
This game is fun, but crashes quite a bit. Most frustrating though is that the help menu and information about the game doesn't seem accurate or up to date. For example, the marketing director role doesn't appear to give you any benefit and more or less steals 1000+ coins from you to upgrade without anything in return even though the information in the game suggests it does.
