I have the code book, the only reason I bought this app was because I figured you'd be able to search throughout the whole document. Instead you're only able to search within the actual article you're viewing. That lacking functionality makes this app essentially useless considering you can buy the PDF version for the same price.
Contrary to an earlier review this app does allow you to search the entire NEC with its search function, not just the current article. Search function is in menu in upper right corner of app. HUGE TIMESAVER.
Love the app.. just a note on using search. Make sure you are on the first page. Or the Browse page that lists all the chapters and it will search the whole NEC. Thanks!
Very good source of information. But when I had to get a new phone? It was very difficult to be able to transfer the app and info to the new phone. That was disappointing and frustrating.
This is very handy and much needed for on the go questions about code. Easy to use and worth the money
Great resource for information, training and continuing education.
Where is 2020? I'm studying for my exam and the tables are apparently not updated because my table is incorrect. I thought it was supposed to be keeping me updated..
Wish I could see the table of contents all in one place. No search.
App Freezes every time I try to scroll or view anything in Annex C or any other Annex in the back.
Not good it doesn't even take me to the article or section that I'm looking for on the search
Nice quick ref. In the palm of your hand
Need an update for newer phones like my note 10s galaxy
Use it every day. When are we going to see the 2020 app?
It's exactly what you need
Waiting for the 2020 version
As an electrical inspector, I wouldn't be without it.
Great reference
I try to download this app on my tablet using the same Google account yet it won't let me unless I pay 95 dollars again so no I don't recommend this app at all.
This is so great. Much better than toting that thick book around. On a side note,I like turtles.
It has quick reference search which is good. Other than that it's just a code book.
Can't high light or put notes in, very basic. Needs this to beat book
Works like it's supposed to.
It needs to have highlighting option! Highlighting is a must in order to use an affective reference. Adding a short cut option would be a plus. If you can save favorites that you reference frequently would save a much needed amount of time. It's still quicker than an ordinary book.
