This app was working really good. I was able to connect to my ear account and work on my cars while I was not home. But all of a sudden, I am now not able to connect to my account, the app frequently crashes, and when I do try to connect to my account, it tells me I need to complete my registration via the email they sent. Only problem is, I never receive any email. They should make the app like how it used to be so it doesn't break all the time.
Awesome to use. Would like to be able to shrink decals as well as be able too stretch them individually. Instead of the does both action makes the decals wide an longer at same time an can't shrink them down after the fact. Other than that seems can get lost for hours changing the colors an combination of such. Part or of decent choices would love to see more option for all parts on all cars Tho. That being said I give this app a 4.9 stars. Thanks EA an developers for making this possible.
It was good at first, and I thought it'd be great to modify cars on the go or late at night in bed, but after a while it started giving me a nonsensical error about the account not being verified even though it worked fine just the other day I used it. What's the point of keeping this installed if the last patch was 2-3 years ago and the devs never resolved this issue? Guess I'll just stick to using Steam Link if my PC is on and if I get an itch to do some more car designing in NFS Heat.
Its a pretty interesting app, but clearly unfinished. So many glitches and bugs that make the think unusable. Note 9 user. Almost could not open it 'cause it does not support the features of the phone, like the 2k resolution. It just stops working. I found a solution reading the reviews here, by lowering to 1080p, but that should not be the case. The app is pretty interesting and kinda funny. Could be something better... if EA decides to fix the damn thing in time.
Love this app. It's great to be able to see and pre-customize the cars that'll be in the game. I'm waiting to see how well it implements into the real game once it's released. My only issues are that the app can be a little laggy, but it's gotten better. Also, the trunk mounted taillights don't change with the taillight mods, so if you go to darken the taillights on say an Audi or BMW, you'll have contrast between the real taillights and the trunk lights and it just doesn't look right.
This is an amazing companion app for one of the best arcade racers around. I love the depth of the body kits, the options with paint and liveries, and the sheer amount of customizable cars. My issue is that the app keeps crashing after about 2 minutes of use, and the issue has been happening for the past week or two. If not for the crashing problem, I would give 5 stars guaranteed.
It is a nice touch to the car gaming industry to be able to customize your cars on the go and have it connected to your actual account. Very easy vinyl controls is like my favorite thing in this app. Only down side is it is really buggy, things don't match, parts look wonky, weird controls, and limited features (like I would love to rev the car like in the real game). Will wait and see how it evolves with time, but until then my rating is 4 stars.
No hiccups at this time. Download smoothly. Set up was a breeze. Put in my email and thought it would sync to my EA account already present. This seems to not be connected to that. Started customizing my cars fairly easily. When at the customization for the wheels, I worked on all the settings for the rear wheels; tires, rims, calipers, brakes and moved to the front and then selected to have the same on the front as I did on the rear. That didn't happen. It didn't take for some reason.
I see alot of people thinking this is a real racing game. It's not, I've been a fan of the NFS series for a while now and I love that you can take it on the go with some titles. But this is just for customizing the cars available to you in game. Once you have the car customized to your taste you can then transport it into your game on xbox, ps4, or PC. I can understand where people can get mixed up but most are just to quick to pull the trigger.
It's surprisingly good. Some things are hit or miss like getting prompted to copy wheel specifications to the front/rear. Otherwise, it's great. Being able to see the number (paint, shade, saturation, wheel number) allows you to be able to match paint across different items easily and match parts quickly. Hope that carries over into the game. Waiting on how things look once it's pushed to the console game, but it should look even better. I would like to see MORE wheel options.
No issues installing it. Able to customize cars somewhat. I like the augmented camera. Managed to reproduce the 2002 BMW M3 E46 I had prior to the current mean machine. Can't wait for the release of the game and drive these puppies around. Nothing bad to report - runs quick and each car model doesn't take up a lot of space. I like the way you can go back and change a saved model. Not sure though if it's uploaded into the game area/server even though I've got it linked, but only time will tell. Glad there's a few oldies in here too, so will be able to grow a moustache and do Smokey and the Bandit for example. Brrrmm!!!! Pedal to the metal!!!!
I'm impressed. It's very well put together and has customization just as in depth as what I experienced in NFS Payback, but on mobile. There's bugs here and there, but it seems to be very functional where it matters. It could do with a little bit more scenery, like other environments to view your car in to see how light effects color and things like that, and it wouldn't hurt to add some engine noise or something like that, but there is a decent amount of variety, especially with rims and color.
I think it is a great concept, to have the opportunity to customize our cars before (and after) the NFS Heat game is released. And I have done quite a lot with this app. But I've seen two problems with it already. 1). It will not sync progress between Android and iOS devices with the same email address. 2). After customizing my Polestar, complete with paint and wraps, I then went to edit a different car, the wraps that I had already applied to Polestar appeared on the other car as well.
Neat car customization studio with a respectable variety of features and a plethora of vehicles to choose from. Personally, I was hoping for a few more parts to play with. Many 'secret' vehicles are locked and require one to connect an EA account to the app, which also allows one to port designs from the app into the upcoming console title. This is all fine, except that the app encounters an error whenever I attempt to connect my account, preventing me from enjoying the best parts of the app.
Customizing cars is one my favourite things to do in racing games. I am thoroughly enjoying this app but a few things must change. The textures on all turbofan-style wheels are broken. More logo decals in the wraps editor would be nice (manufacturer and aftermarket). Also, filtering wheels by manufacturer could help save a lot of time because scrolling is painfully slow and often doesn't work. I hope this gets fixed and I'm looking forward to the next batch of cars.
Amazing game to explore the ways of cars and customize them to your own extent, With a variety of cars. Good Graphics although there are some glitches here and there with the decals but other than that it Is very enjoyable to play when you have free time on your hands. More cars are added almost every 2 or more weeks until the consle game comes out.
Overall it's fun but lacks a lot in the parts and options to tune the car. The modification itself is very limited and it would be a great idea to add more parts specially the wide body preset like nfs underground 2 just to spice up the look of the cars. At the current state there's not much to play around and the end results are very limited like i said.
Love that your are able to customise cars to an insane amount, there are so many parts to try out. New cars each week, with secret cars to unlock, is a great way to do things. There's a very varied selection. The obly problems i have are with colour selection, this could be better than a slide option as it is tricky to get the exact shade you want sometimes, also more wrap selections would be appreciated. Im trying to create a galaxy paint job and its very hard with the selection on offer.
I love this app and I love NFS but this app needs work, guys. Badly. My current rating is 2/5. I've wanted this for a while but I won't change the rating until it's improved. The app lags and constantly freezes and shuts down, erasing both my saved and unsaved work. You also can't play music from another app in the background which is a little annoying. What I do like is the general idea of the app and the depth of customization but it needs refining. Character customization would be nice too
Offers many custom parts and paint styles to choose from so there is no end to creativity. However, the issue begins when you apply wraps. With a lack of a coordinate and angle system it's hard to tell if your decals/vinyls are straight or not, making it difficult to align vinyls with other parts with the car. Overall, a nice app to customize your cars to your desires before the game's release. Just hope there are more exotic cars such as the Pagani Zonda Cinque.
The tutorial for the game is pretty straight forward and its very satisfying to customize your favorite cars on the go. Now, my main issue about this game is the decal customization. It's a bit buggy to say the least. There were times where I would scale a sticker and it would jump from one place to another. Or duplicating a decal and not be showing up on the other side of the vehicle. Overall its still a satisfying game and would definitely recommend.
I've always wanted a game that's solely about customizing cars, and this game delivers - albeit with a currently minuscule (but expanding) car list and tons of bugs, visual glitches, and some awful menu design. Some tires clearly have texture issues, applying the same wheels on all fours is harder than it should, and scrolling for a minute through the wheel selection just to pick the Watanabe at the bottom is seriously painful. But overall, I enjoyed it.
UPDATE: The app could use some stability updates, its started to glitch out when saving or trying to snap a picture. I've also had trouble with the app loading the car tiles/thumbnails on start (a restart fixes it) ******************************************* I'm not sure why the app has low ratings, this is a very fun part of the game. I'm glad its on mobile. I can see losing a lot of time to this. The new customizations are really cool. Thanks EA!
A good idea with solid potential, but it's very buggy right now. Annoying things will happen during customization, like the game deciding to switch the rims you selected nearly every time, or deleting some of the decals you put on, or not showing the decals on the car as editable. Picking rims is also really annoying because you can only scroll through them one at a time, making it hard to skip to a brand you want for example. Still enjoyable, but very much frustrating to work with.
Easily the best cat customization game when considering all the free content (3D Tuning has more parts, but is not as high quality of a game). Currently I'm having an issue with the wrap editor making my layers go invisible on the car. The layers are still there, just not visible. Also, the parts list is not in the same order as the order when you just use the arrows to scroll through, just a petty issue I am annoyed by. Overall, great experience, making wraps is easier than doing it in game.
My opinions are mixed about this app. I'll focus on the wrap editor. It is deep, okay, this is what we all wanted, but something prevents my works from looking smooth. The shapes you put on your car have stripes bearing the same color of the car you customize located at the sides of them, and this is extremely infuriating; this issue makes my cars look ugly to the human eye. I hope this issue gets fixed in the near future.
Everything I've ever wanted, I'll add a star if they just fix the decals a bit. Once I click what decal I want it doesn't even show up on the car, you have to move and scale it before you can see it which is annoying. Sometimes I can't even see the decal at all making it very difficult to continue. Please fix this by just letting us be able to see it once we select it then I'll add 5th star
I'll be honest the app is really good the customisations are good, the layout is pretty good etc. Like some other people I have problems with the game crashing. whether it's starting up the game, trying to save a car, or just randomly. I'm going to keep the app and continue to try and use it but I really do hope that you fix this feature. Thank you :)
