As others have said, it's a start, but leagues behind pcgs. I'm debating who to start a membership with, and frankly the difference in technology available (not just the app vs pcgs's many apps, but the website for ngc is messy and confusing, made worse by the fact ngc's app directs you there for nearly everything) will probably be the deciding factor. Which is unfortunate, that the poor interface and user experience is falling behind so much, even when ngc has, imo, the better looking slabs.
I like that it shows price guide data however it is, at times grossly, outdated. Having said that it is for the most part pretty accurate. This is still my 'go-to' app for coin information. Thank you and keep up the good work.
Great experience. I enjoy the convince of scanning the bar code on the coin grading holder for the price value of the coin that has been graded by NGC. And the fact the coin has been photoed after graded at NGC to help determine if infact the coin that I am looking at resembles the one photoed by NGC.
GRADED coins only Some of us just want to collect and add coins....why do they have to be graded The app itself ONLY acts as a verification center EVERYTHING else will redirect you to the website. If I wanted to go to the website I would have and not wasted time downloading the app Expected more from a top name coin grader
This app is probally the lamest piece of technology ever. It's basically an amateur setup that redirects you to their website. PCGS is miles ahead and has much better resources and very engaging apps. Maybe NGC should hire a real app developer and create something remotely exciting for this hobby.
the app works great. these complaints are hilarious tho. Simple things that are made the apps fault or problem . Great work NGC , looking forward to the progress to come..
NGC is number 1 in my book. Coinbook that is. Customer service is the best. Friendly, knoledgable staff. Being a beginner they have been patient and guided me . I trust thier advice and grading capabilities. NGC IS NUMBER 1,, not that other service..
Nothing but issues. Tells you information when it feels like it. One day prices the next no, one day pops the next no. Spend some money and rehaul this boring app so people don't have to chop and change between android and chrome for information.
App WILL ONLY WORK WITH CHROME BROWSER! Even if you have a different default browser this piece of app tries to open Chrome everytime you try to use it.
Finally, NGC has got this app tuned in. I can look up coins, verify and easily add them to my registry without any problems!
This app isn't working i was looking for new coins to get and when I entered the # in it said try later so I try scanning some of my coins still isnt working
A ngc price guide would be helpful. I collect and send all my coins to ngc, but find myself using pcgs apps because they are much better.
I really like the scan feature, sometimes it doesn't show a value just above the population. I wonder why that is?
Just downloaded it to look up my coins it doesn't work just keeps saying feature currently unavailable really??.. come on guys get it together...
Never had a problem apart from photos missing from info on coin but even if you email NGC about your putchase concerns they will reply with safe or not safe...
Convenient and handy app to have around, when fast check is required to verify database registration plus many other useful features.
This app has improved over the years. Usually very reliable and quick.
It's good, but not enough information that clarifies the coin questions I have.
So the numismatic community has a problem with me yet I have the second most rare nickel ever minted with a mintage of only 25,900 a PF 65 CAMEO 1879 5C SHIELD NICKEL GRADED and they put that this coin in perfect condition is only worth 2000 dollars. That proves they are discriminating against me on a continental level. So now all of them have to give my coins to me that had anything to do with this gaslighting b.s. Give all my coins back now.
By watching video on how they show things to be, I want to learn more. Permission to join please.

Garbage -> go to PCGS more established company with top notch customer service. NGC cs does nothing but play games, cs is not even educated in Nusmatics

Would be nice if the app was updated more than once or twice a year
The app has potential but is behind when compared to its competitor. Click on coins I loaded and the page is removed, add coins to my set and says I cant cause it isnt the same type when it is. Auction results, coin history smoothness just to name a few things. I hope they put some serious time in on making this app better. It has crossed my mind to start switching to pcgs just they provide the most in the technology arena. Hope NGC picks it up
