NHL SKATE: Hockey Card Trader

Cards looks cool. Wish the backs had actual stats instead of fantasy numbers. Wish the "full screen" button actually fit the card to my screen instead of making it slightly bigger. I really like the global card counts and rarity groupings. Lots of free stuff is a plus. There's a bit of a grind for it, but nothing crazy. Quicker crafting would be awesome. Kills my phone battery and heats it up in a hurry. Even with it using that much processing power, the menus are still fairly slow.

I guess 1 start since there isn't a 0 i can pick. It's hard to tell if I really enjoy it since it's been frozen since I downloaded it. I open it up and the "rate it" window popped up and has been frozen ever since. Not even sure why the "rate it" window would even pop up as soon as you download it since you haven't even had a chance to even see anything in the app.

Here we go again. No advanced notice of app maintenance as stated there would be, lost cards and coins and if it is anything like the last three maintenance updates, I will spend the better part of the remainder of the week trying to sign back in. It is becoming more of a burden then it is actually worth. Sad because it was fun to collect and trade, but now I spend more time trying to get around issues that these maintenance periods cause then actually playing this app. Truly sad.

I've been using this app for roughly 18 months. For the last week the Missions box has been greyed out. I've uninstalled and reinstalled with no fix. The missions are how I gain the majority of my in-game currency. It also gives me a reason to do things in the app I otherwise wouldn't care to. Don't bother installing this app if they don't fix the mission being greyed out issue. Edit:they've fixed this issue. Changed my Star rating to be accurate after the fix.

I really enjoy TOPPS NHL SKATE. I like the option of collecting cards and learning about NHL players by collecting and researching the players I receive. The only issue is the over the top animations that freeze up the app. I have tried different settings and really nothing I have done reduces the freezing of my phone when crafting or opening packs. My boys all use BUNT, KICK and SKATE and the same freezing issue occurs on all of our phones.

Don't think I have enough space here to tell you just how awful this app is. Nearly impossible to maneuver in it because of the glitches, and heaven help you if you wear glasses since the names of almost all the players are covered up on the wish list. If you do manage to find the cards you want to add, the app suddenly goes to a different page and you lose all your progress. Truly awful and an enormous waste of time.

Seriously not worth bothering with if you are a play for free player. The odds on acquiring any of the 'cards' other than the very basic 'cards' are astronomical - regularly a 1 in 50 or higher for 1 Super Rare or over 1-200 for an iconic. Remember you're not paying for actual cards either, just pictures of cards making this even worse! A total con of a game unless you're daft enough to pay real money for pics as you're collecting screenshots not cards! Swizz and a rip off.

Solid 3 star game. Pools are fun but hard to compete as a free to play player but its still possible. Bunch of nice collectibles. Would rate higher than 3 stars except topps doesn't treat the skate app players fairly compared to MLB bunt app. It's pretty clear they are capable of being a better app and simply choose not to be. As someone that plays both its frustrating that bunt app is much better and treats thier users better.

I would rate 5 stars but game grashes during contests all the time. For a paid app, it under preforms. Over a year later and the contests have the same issues, and response takes days if youre lucky. Waste of money. For what you could potentially pay they have zero cousomer support. I no longer pay to use this app. Another update. The topps team messed up another contest. I sent photos to the support team so they had proof of an error. They sent back a generic message. 0 support 0 stars

The odds for THROWBACK packs are completely FALSE. I've wasted over 100,000 almost every week trying to get 5 cards. Spent over 40,000 many times and didn't even get 1. Above all that it's only 2000 a pack. It's NOT 1:5, more like 1:15. I get relics more often than this. Please make the odds realistic 🙏. Have to change the review to 1 star now. Seriously you guy's update the app to make us exit watching videos for coins "3" times... Seriously? No Honestly, why would you do that? Makes no sense

Fun, card collecting app, that is good for anyone who enjoys the Game and Hobby. I enjoy it as I'd love to collect more of the in hand cards, which I still do and also enjoy. It also has a little fantasy game in the app which for us thar like every aspect of the game. Enjoy this as it gives you more opportunity to enjoy and collect E-Cards. Thank you and Enjoy!!

Used to just be SLOW AF but now just freezes forever. Very expensive PAY to play card collecting for cards you never own. You spend so much that you end up stuck with not being able to uninstall loosing everything you bought, but still never own. You can't save to anything and ALL cards still belong to Topps even after paying however much you pay for the cards. I would seriously recomend going to Ebay and buy cards that you will own, for the same amount of money you will spend on this app. Waste

Like most games, it's a cash grab. Collecting cards with very minimal use for them. Collecting loses it's fun because the cards have nothing unique to them. Nothing about the players on the cards. The games that you can play with them are limited and 90% of what you collect is never used. There's really no reason to play.

Had to lower the rating, but this time because suddenly, missions are no longer a thing. There is a check mark and you can't click it anymore. I never got to finish and get my 40K for last weeks, and now there haven't been daily missions for the last 3 days or so and the new weekly mission isn't there either

This game is a failed version of NBA Dunk or NHL Blitz! It really is not as fun and entertainin and feeling of real card breacs that both NBA Dunk has. If this game wants to be anything good they need to look feel and play like NBA dunk where the packs are real and you can pull different cards like pinnini or select. In this game all the carrds seem the same and have no value to me.

This app is currently unusable for me. I log into it, and the "are you enjoying this" thing pops up, but it doesnt allow me to click anything. EDIT: This issue was fixed... and FAST! Rating changed accordingly. Thank you, DEVS!

Have played for 3 months, amassed a nice collection. Was unable to log in today. Re-installed the app. Then I kept getting error messages when trying to log in or resetting my password. So now I'm locked out of the app, which I've spent considerable time and money on, unsure if that investment is safe and when or if I'll be able to tend to it again That's the reason for the low score. The game itself is fine. I'm on it too much every day. Being unable to access it makes me nervous and unhappy.

This app is great. I have had a lot of fun collecting and trading different card sets. A few things I think would make it better is if when you search for a specific card for trade, the results loaded up by priority with other users who have multiple copies of that card, then by those who are active on the app ahead of the offline users. Also, it would be nice if there were more filtering/sorting options for viewing your collection so you could see them by each set (and in trading screen too).

After this last maintenance night it says I need to update in Google play store and then when I go to Google play the only options are Uninstall or open. I have almost a 50k collection score and have spent money and will be very unhappy if I'm not able to get into the app again.

Nothing worse than buying a pack of cards, saying it Was unable to load. You don't get your cards calm up and it takes your money. This has happened countless times. It's a fun way to pass the time, hard to navigate some things. But I can't see myself ever spending money on something that isn't real.

It's kind of stale compared to your bunt series. Limited access to coins special items etc. You need to make it like bunt and it would be a lot more enjoyable

I love the app and the look of the cards. I wish there was a way to get more coin. I also wish you could do something with team top prospects. I think that would be cool and alot of people would want them.

Really fun game, i have spent losts of time on it. But there are a lot of glitches... Plus, it seems the same few people get every single good card...

Very inconsistent with card odds .. spent over 170,000 coins chasing a card that I never received that should've released around 40,000 coins ... or 50, or 60, or 80, or 100, or 150!?!! But 170 and STILL no card!?!? With the lack of customer support in these games by this company I recommend you stay away from topps .. apart from this, I will say the games are great time wasters 🙂👍

It's a very nice concept, I wish it was a bit more user-friendly. The application has a very old feel and look to it. I wish it were more modern and nicer ui. Kind regards

I would give a better review except the app took my diamonds and gave me a different pack than the one I selected. Support hasn't responded to my requests. Very disappointed after all the money I've spent on this app. What a waste.

Fun game. Very addictive. Love collecting real cards and this brings all the joy of collecting real cards to your phone. My only grievance is that it doesn't let you open multiple packs at one time. It would be nice if they give the option to select how many of the same pack you would like to open so you don't have to repeatedly go back to the shop page to reselect the pack each time.

What's going on in this app, whenever I try to open a pack it says the app encountered some issues, try again later. It deducts coins from me and doesn't give me any cards/packs. I want my coins back
