NIC Mobile Banking

This is hilarious. Even after the update they managed to make a more complicated and glitchy app. To think that after the merger they'd get better software developers. OTPs always glitch. Thank god for customer service.. cause I've tried to activate my app 3 times on my new phone .. and still doesn't work lol absolute horse poo

The app keeps crashing and causes inconveniences during emergencies. While it has some enhanced features compared to the old one, the general stability of the app is more important and would prefer reverting to the old app.

It will not launch at all on Android version 12. It worked well before I did a system update to 12. Unfortunately they don't have an option at this time for this, so quite frustrating. However when it worked it had a good bunch of options not in previous versions, so it made it quite versatile, but you need a magnifying glass to read it though, and no option to enlarge font, so thats a problem for me.

Unable to launch application. No error message provided. Progress bar keeps on scrolling regardless of the failure. I am excited that I can access both NIC & CBA accounts, (when it loaded, once after the upgrade). The UI needs a bit of work, provide intuitive account names, it's hard to distinguish which account belongs to what bank, or better still, provide a means to rename accounts.

Terrible application. From a stable working version to one that has not been thoroughly tested. Don't upgrade if you have a choice !!!

It's just not working. Not user friendly, keeps shutting itself while in use- even just the interface. The previous app worked better

This application was doing well until today, it's just super slow and barely responds to commands. Look it up.

It keeps hanging or sometimes refuses to open. Its frustrating because when u need to use money and the app is not working you become stuck. Switching over to loop

1. I have never seen Credit card statement and deposit details ever since I installed this App. 2. 3rd party menus do not work as expected. Customer service DOES NOT take these complaints seriously and in the end do not resolve issues raised.

Activation, pin, password and customer service simply cannot get it to work. One of the most useless applications ever made.

Used to be a great app, but now completely useless. Can't even launch the damn thing 😒 Upgrading my rating as the app is up again; but still not impressed with how long I had to wait for the update hence 3-star rating 😉

Why change the app the old one was very user friendly this one feels cheap and unintuitive. What a shame, was very impressed previously and now you join the other banks with poor mobile banking options

Useless app. Dont waste your time downloadong. Evrrytime you try to log in it returns an error message "invalid details"

Frustrating. Impossible to get the right password / pin number / activation code even after 3 calls to customer service - just keeps giving error messages. Worked fine on my old phone but now can't even log in. Complete rubbish from a rich bank who charge fees for everything, I expect much more.

It used to work fine a while back but not any more. The app is quite problematic of late. It is not easy to login and let alone transact (at least on Android 6) Reinstallation of the app doesnt help things either coz there is no facility provided for app activation. The bank staff seem unsure of what the real problem is with the app!!!

App keeps stopping/crashing on s21 ultra after phone software update. Optimize the app to ensure it is compatible with s21ultra. It's been more than 2 days now. I have installed and uninstalled it more than 15 times but still not working

I can't login and it keeps telling me wrong password. I also can't go back to the old App. Am now stuck.

The app desperately needs ability to pay till numbers and paybills directly, as well as ability to customise utilities for other regular payments. There are some issues with particular utility payments. Otherwise relatively smooth and easy to use.

It's a great app, but can do better. need to link it with online banking, so that things like standing orders are synchronized, activate pesalink, make credit cards functional on the app, and many other small but important issues

Lots of wasted space on the landing page, even before you consider that used for ads. The fingerprint authentication integration keeps giving errors with the app that isn't solved with restarts - until its sorted, best to avoid that and stick to a PIN for login.

Locked me out of the old app and can't get into new app because the password doesn't work. The upgrade process is very ridiculous, annoying and inconviniencing. Cannot get through to customer care either. An upgrade should make thing better.

It has failed so many times that I have lost count! Has failed 2nd time since yesterday, within just 2 weeks as it had failed again just last week for days. Quite unfortunate and atmost inconviniencing! Note that the app is updated, nothing else to do besides despair!

it's really hard to work with. it keeps saying there is a problem with my connection yet there is not. please provide better services like other mobile banking apps i've seen like kcb and equity. please work on the app because I try clicking some features and they don't open up. it was so frustrating that I uninstalled it.

before the update it was a smooth sail,after the update,the application has been restarting & popping regularly with errors while ONLINEA even without touching it.i have unistalled & reinstalled about 5 times since & it has become worse to a point where it is not even loading the app at all.

The app doesn't perform the very basic function of updating account balances to reflect new transactions made. Even though it lists the new transactions, it does not add them up to existing totals. It also doesn't show account currencies for multi-currency accounts.

Great improvement in the functionality of the app...am beginning to really like it.

Its More user friendly and I can see my loan balance, statement etc on one page. I had no problem migrating just followed instructions and ensured my ineternet was stable. The Lipa na M-Pesa addition to the app is amazing and simplifies all my transactions.

Having a horrid time using it. App shuts down for no reason. Seemingly forgets a password that worked 5min prior. Not to mention the confusing visuals. NCBA Loop is a good benchmark for a banking app.
