I love this app. It's so much easier than the handset. It's so simple to understand what your doing... I like that you can go back over what you scanned before you send it to ensure you got it all, unlike the handset where ya just gotta hope for the best. Love the different levels we can obtain as you add more shopping trips! Easy way to check points too. I'm so glad I swapped from the handset to using my phone. Good work Neilsen! Loving the use of technology... which I can't say about all apps!

Following an earlier negative review, I'm pleased to say the technical help has solved the issue somehow. Despite downloading the android app, their system had me down as a IOS. I had to disinstall and repeat the whole installation and registration - a bit time consuming for something that should have been pretty straightforward but I'm finally able to scan my shopping with the mobile. So far it seems as easy as the old scanner, but with the huge benefit of having one less gadget.

The app needs improvement. It keeps freezing. It often doesn't recognise barcodes, but then if you force close the app and reopen, it scans the barcode fine. Camera is also not great, it takes so long to capture a photo that you end up with a few rounds of blurry photos before you manage a clear one.

Use it as a simple scan one item at a time and dont click multibuy. You will be sent down a one way trip you can't back out of and it will ask you to scan more multibuy items when you have already told it how many items are in the multibuy. You will then need to restart your scanning from the beginning to get out of it. Very infuriating when you just want to scan your groceries and get them packed away.

I had the mobile app an I thought it was going to be quite a simple task to just scan everytime I shopped but unfortunately for this busy mum I found that it wouldn't be. What you actually have to do is scan the product put in weight of product if needed and enter in the price details then click whether or not it's a promotional items. Although the rewards can be great its just really time consuming for a super busy single mum like myself so I've decided to opt out.

Fantastic! So much easier to use than the handset. Wish I'd downloaded this before Christmas when I was initially invited. So happy I've done it now, even if it took my old handset scanner to breakdown to do it. I recommend this app to any existing nielsen panel user, it is so much easier to use and send after every shopping trip, rather than the weekly automatic pick up. Thank you nielsen for making the scanner portable now:-)

Awful company, awful website, awful app. I've been with this company for over 20 years and I've finally had enough. Account deleted and app deleted. Don't bother signing up to be a member as it's not worth your time. As I said been with them over 20 years and only accumulated enough points for a few items, the rewards are not worth the effort.

Would be good if it WORKED! scanned receipt then it wanted me to scan barcodes of the 3 items I bought... Scanned one... Then while app crashed... Had to restart whole thing... And guess what... After 6 attempts I gave up and out it in fridge before goes off as its taken over half Hour to get nowhere.

Works well but not the greatest interface, would be better if 'new purchases' was more prominent rather than the graphs taking up the whole screen. Also the ability to turn bleep sounds off would be good

Think this is a great app. Love it. I just had problems connecting so had to re install te app again. Seems to have lost some of my points though. Think I had 90 but is now showing 10; Sure the panel will clear it up for me. Extra money earned is a great help these days.

The abismal scanner process, but in an app. This was the chance to completely rewrite the logic to make it easy and accurate. All you had to do was take a pic and OCR the receipt then prompting for barcode scans. But lazy/incompetent developers means we still enter everything manually, keeping input errors, even still have to select specific store! It took me LONGER to scan my shop because the app is so bad. You should be embarrassed to release this. Your competitors are laughing at you.

I had this setup on 4 devices for over 2 years and had almost 10,000 points. I dropped one device and add another and then was not able to access the account . Numerous attempts wer made to ask for assistance and no one responded so I deleted the apps from all my devices. I didn't have a problem installing. You denied access to my account which I had over 2 years. I had almost 10,000 points to redeem which you denied me. Problem

I was hesitant to swap to scanning with my phone but the app makes it very easy to follow and the scanning process is as quick and simple as using the hand held scanner. I'm not tech savvy at all but this app helps you and I haven't had an issue since downloading 2 weeks ago. All the writing is big and clear.

The app is great compared to using the handset, BUT it could really use a favorites function for stores and they need to remove the timeout for the scanner, it can be super annoying when trying to scan a barcode that doesn't want to scan first go, if you fixed and added that I would give 5 stars.

Have been using this app for months now with no problem's then all of a sudden i go to use it and all i got was a black screen, but one pressing the ?syimble i was able to scan with difficulty Today after shopping and trying to scan i was asked to enter my id and code.b efore I could use it,i then found emails with this information upon doing this i found it was working again But on trying to scan goods got a black blank screen again till pressing the ? Mark which is not ideal as there's a lot of word's on the same page making it difficult to see. why is this happening? not at all helpful.

Been using it for 1 week so far, and it's on the whole incredibly easier compared to the clunky manual scanning device. The ability to adjust things if you make a mistake and to see the summary of scanned items - makes things much easier!

My friend has the handheld scanner, it works fine no issues. This app... never been able to use it, endless login issues. Have attempted a dozen times, contacting help desk each time, zero resolution. Should get zero stars.

Scanning multi-buys is far more complex in the app than using the scanner. Buy several multi-buys and you have to scan them all, and then calculate the saving. Not fun. My wife and I are both users on the same account, but if one or the other scans that weeks shopping, the other gets a message that they need to scan that week. Do you want us to say 'NO PURCHASES' in that situation? Will not scan some bulk barcodes as at Costco, have to be entered manually.

Great little point collection app. Quicker than the stores to earn points for products. Actual scanning can occationally be a pain with having to retry scans. Points can't be redeemed through the app, must go to website (site currently down).

Great way to earn points and select items to from a huge catalogue to redeem them on. Only takes an extra few minutes to scan your shopping. Would like to see a way to earn points from buying fuel for vehicles though.

It's workable but I wish it gave names for scanned products instead of just numbers since it makes it hard to review. Also the survey page seems broken since it's always blank despite emails saying I have surveys.

Pretty good so far, though harder to scan barcodes than using the normal scanner. A link in the App to take you straight to the rewards part of the website would be good. Maybe by clicking on your points total to get there? 🤔

Re-writing my review as the App has now updated and my points balance is now visible. I can't give 5 stars however because there is still a delay in the information held within the App and the website. My last transmission was 03/12/21 however the website states 01/12/21, which makes it unclear as to whether the App is actually working correctly

I still find the process slower than the hand scanner.. Waiting for my phone camera to snap into focus has tripled the time to scan.. The only better side was selecting non bar coded item like loose fruit.. still deciding..

Loved the physical scanner - when everything went mobile, nothing worked properly, customer service telling me I hadn't uploaded data when I had been and then unceremoniously kicked off the panel, rather than resolving the technical issue.

This is much better than the older system. Need weight for vegetables and fruit. No-one sells fruit by the number. BUT we have no idea if the data has synced. I have been told that my data has not going through. I have been waiting all week for a new set of codes to reload. waiting waiting waiting...

I got the login credentials from Nielsen, however, I could not push through with the registration. It always says that I have to contact the helpdesk for new login credentials and that those credentials given are already expired. Tried sending multiple email requests to their help desk but got no resolution about the issue. Kind of disappointing

I've been a member for a few years now. It's fun and you get to help the company help the community, plus get rewarded for it. I love it. I used the handheld scanner and I can't wait to do it all in the one app. Yay 5 stars here ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
