After last Android update app doesn't work properly. I can turn it on but touch screen partially disabled. I can toggle between this app & whichever app/program I was using prior but nothing else. No swiping up or down, accessing other apps, games, etc. I suffer from migraines & this app helped with that. The lowest brightness on my phone is still too bright for me. Without this app I avoid using my phone at night.
This app has worked perfectly for me for over a year. It's simple to use and wastes very little battery.. But is it possible to place the ad somewhere in the upper corner of the screen instead of the middle? It's a bit scary to open the app and the faces in the ads are immediately staring directly into my soul. Other than that, I absolutely love the app!
It's awesome! Some suggestions: 1. Option to set the active time, like from 10 pm to 7 am. 2. A quick enable/disable button in the notification bar. 3. Widget But most importantly, 4. I'd love to have a shortcut to enable/disable the night mode. For example, pushing a button 3 times rapidly would toggle the night mode. Keep up the great work! 😊👍
Almost perfect. Dev please consider this: I hope there is an option in the setting window, that let user "pin the app on the notification window" so if the user need to turn on/off the apps, it will take less time->efficient. Other than that, i guess it's good Good job dev, simple but good app Maybe the only problem, or concern that i see is when you screenshoot, the picture goes dark aswell, darker than the brightness level that i choose Overall, really good
The app is good an all. It is actually can make your screen even darker. It works perfectly. The problem is when you use it in a long time, your phone will start heating because it is working in the background for a long period. So, please consider to use it for a short period and turn it off when not using it.
I have rated 3* because I am fed up with this app closing itself down. None of the very rare updates have rectified this issue. In fact it has got much worse gradually over time, it now happens more frequently. When it shuts down my phones standard brightness settings reactivate which is far too bright for me. I have to stop whatever I'm doing and go to open up this app for it to put the filter settings back to normal. I'm looking for alternative apps. Also different filter colours would be good
It is a good app. Very useful at night. But hard to turn off the mode under sun light (morning). If it had a feature like adaptive brightness or atleast like scheduled auto turn off. Then It would be the best app. Kindly consider this feedback. I hope there will be an update.
Was perfect until the last Android update, now everytime I turn it on, it freezes my screen and I have to restart my phone. Been doing that for a week, it's time for another app.
As some other comments have stated, the app takes too much time to turn it on/off. Please make the app come with a widget. By tapping on that widget, I'd like to be able to cycle different brightness settings. You know... Like DPI settings on a mouse. For 5 stars, make the settings for the widget also be able to cycle normal brightness levels.
The update says the notification bar and Android buttons are now under user control. However, I only see a change to the Android buttons. The notification bar doesn't change, nor does the notification drop down. Fix that and I'll increase my rating.
At first this app does what it's supposed too but when you cut it off it goes to the brightness of the lvl you have the app set to dim. So if it's a 3/4 dim the brightness jumps to 3/4ths bright. The main issue I have with this app is that if you leave it on past morning if you sleep in there is no safety to cut the app off and during the day good luck seeing your screen if you have it past 50 % dim you have to know your phone to turn off n hope u get it turned off. That's needs major work !
The app works great. The ads in it won't bother much and I know you need money too. I love it because can lower the screen brightness more than the phone minimum brightness. I think you should add a remove ads by paying a small money to the developer.
Nice app. Please also make it bar buttons under night mode because if I use night mode screen look comfortable except menu bar still bright which is not comfortable. please do the need full. and also make it auto scheduled mode like timestamp which is completely best software I'm sure. thank you.
It would be nice to be able to set a time that the night mode dimming comes off in the morning and goes on rather than manually turning it on and off. I love how dark it makes my phone though.
Excellent excellent simple app which is absolutely perfect for insomniacs like me who don't want to blind themselves and wake up their partners when they look at their phones at night. Despite updates there is still the tiniest fraction of a delay when scrolling but still a 5* app.
love this app but the latest update broke it. now it turns off by itself. i don't want to use this app in my notifications but the pop up for permission comes up every time i open the app. does not turn off button lights at all. edit: no, you didnt need the permission before for the app to work perfectly. my only mistake is updating the app.
Amazing app, works well generally, though sometimes it stops randomly. Only thing it really needs is the ability to set a time for it to start & end automatically.
I really really love this app...but there was one problem...my samsung phone have infinity display so it have a on screen button at navigation bar...the problem is...when the night mode is enable...the on screen button on navigation bar is not been dimmed...please fox this...thank you😊
Could apply the night/dark mode to the notification bar as well. and when its disabled could the phone's brightness level stay at the minimum. but overall good.
honestly didn't think it would be all that great, i was so wrong. i swear to you i use it every single night. i always watch YouTube at night before bed and even with my phone's brightness as low as possible that was still to much, now i can watch it and the screen brightest didn't bother me. i love this app!!!
Works as intended. It does not really decrease the brightness, but it dims the screen. I don't mind that. It's a creative and simple way to allow users to view their devices in dark places. Kudos to the developers
It's so straightforward it's stupid! I would rather just put my brightness control on top and turn it down rather than using up the memory space and RAM to download this app literally all it does is dim the screen
Please make a light-colored app icon so that it can be seen in the morning when it's time to turn it off. App can be better if it has feature to schedule activation, and should not keep on turning off.
Just a wonderful app. I'm not sure whether it reduces the blue light emission, but it certainly reduce the brightness to it's least level.
The bar at the bottom that includes your home button the tab button and back button is all lit up and annoys me so much so besides that it's a good app plz fix this tiny mistake that will conclude in many people uninstalling your app and not get much money from this app either...so again plz fix this tiny bug in the app...😁
one problem i notice when use this app the battery of device was prevent to explode and also the device whole. that why i stop use the app. also have problem could not open or work other apps if this app running it self service over all apps. itried making mod to it app for solution.
this app is great for eyes as it definitely decreases screen brightness to a comforting level to be used at night . but. it wont dim the notification panel (earlier it used to) .. it shocking to eyes and unbearable. please help
5 stars for this app. But I hope in the next update you will add some button on the notification panel in which you can pause the night mode or stop it or on it. Please add some button like that so that we will not go to the app whenever we want to stop it or start it. Add add please!
This is the same as all other blue light filters. It no longer works on a Samsung phone, (since the recent Samsung software update). When the filter is turned on, it acts like a physical block on the touch-screen of Samsung Smartphones, mine being Galaxy S10 (other models included). Users can see apps but cannot use them while the filter is turned on (the apps are blocked). Until this is overcome, filters cannot be used. Why Samsung chose to do this - only Samsung knows...
