I got addicted to this game, finished it and bought all the characters. I mean, this game is awesome, well balanced, not too easy (even hard sometimes). I was desperately looking for a game that would not get me bored and found it with this one. But... it gives me a "too short" feeling. I think the game would be incredibly better if there were changes in the content, specially if you buy the extensions. It unfortunately is a bit repetitive...
A Fun, arcadey, card roguelike. I've been everything, unlocked all achievements and still go back to replay constantly. It's a game that is well tailored to mobile gaming. I wish there were more like it. While there are other roguelike card games, this one is a bit more arcade like, in that it builds up quickly, each class is widely different, and you are not limited to very low energy amounts. Each playthrough is a chance to dominate or be dominated! I can't wait for the next update!
Long time fan, I have completed all the levels with each character that I unlocked and played for hours for a very modest price. The gameplay and mechanics are well thought out and I love the story and the flow of the game. The only suggestion I would give is to make the oponents more challenging in hard mode as they all seem to do little to no damage or their gimmics are obscured by the fact that you often build decks that easily go infinite or one shot them before they can pose a real threat.
In terms of gameplay, a fairly balanced game with only a few overpowered strategies that are more often than not rebalanced during patches (this is generally important for a good card game). The game itself is somewhat reminiscent of slay the spire, but I find the idea of classes instead of routes a great idea. Graphics are solid and simple. My only grievance about the game is sloppy translation (sometimes the English is confusing), but apart from that, keep up the good work, excellent game.
Beautiful art and music, well written, deep and balanced system all contribute to make this the best rogue-like card game I have played on Android. The free version only gives access to one class, but you do get to play it without restriction. A few bucks can purchase the entire game, which is definitely great value.
a really good fun game, perfect when you don't have internet! good diversity and possibilities for the cards. i don't usually post a review on a game but this game is worthy! little side note would be the starting cards, you spend 1-2 chapter's getting rid of the cards you don't like. would be nice to be able to chose 3 (or more) cards when you start a campaign and chose 3 to remove from the starting deck
I normally don't review games, but for this game I'm happy to break the exception, and honestly I'm happy to spend 7 euro on this game, without any spoiler, I love how the way the game slowly review the story by playing different classes and pick up the clue here and there. Each playthrough the dialogue give you more about the story. The art style is lovely and fit really well with the game, cause it feels like reading a comic book. I can't wait to see more from the game dev.
(disclosure: played a lot, and am pretty far progress wise) Try it, I don't really have a better advice. NotFM is made one of those team that understands that smartphones are a worthy medium. It's a full fledged game with complex mechanics, an athmosphere, challenge, and lots of thought put in a lot of details. If you like card building games, dive in. Almost all the DLC are some degree of awesome and the game is worth all of them. (I still bought it and have no regrets, but why puzzles? xD)
I played 20+ acclaimed Premium Games (MValley, LCroft Go, Room, Rayman, etc.) and Full Moon is up there as one of the most polished experiences. Music and voice acting are surprisingly top notch. Unlocks and difficulty options makes for great replayability. Similar to Slay the Spire, it's definitely got lots of depth and developers have clearly poured love into it with recent updates, so I jumped on the 6€ pack they've just added for all characters/new mode, all just as fun to play. Keep it up!
I really like the game and the re playability. I wish I didn't have to accidentally discover the best parts for myself. Maybe some more help/guidance would be welcome, especially if you've never played a similar game irl. Other than that, I'm digging it. Still very confused about the story tho.
I haven't played many other games of this style, so can't compare with anything else, but this has a well developed story line and many great characters. Lately, I've experienced terrible strobe like flickering. It's not my device, it's the game, because the background is stable, only the foreground characters and cards and points action descriptions flicker. It's sporadic, so can't help diagnose by sharing any pattern, but once it begins it stays until close/restart.
I don't spend money on games, I'm not going to buy the classes either, yet I'm giving it 5 stars. The story is surprising interesting with nice voice acting. gameplay was good? Maybe even too easy? I've completed normal mode in my first run and haven't lost yet. I'm still trying to unlock Werewolf boss by finding how to get courage. Still I would've really liked it if I could unlock the classes without paying.
The gameplay experience is top notch as the game difficulty starts off quite easy as you start out but gets progressively harder, but not impossible as the harder difs requires strategy and knowledge of synergy of cards and weaknesses of enemies to beat. (In which you learn as you play the easier difs). It also includes amazing visuals and soundtrack... I recommend new players to completely unlock the first character first before deciding whether to buy the dlc to unlock all other characters.
I originally gave this 3-stars, due to the difficulty. But I stand corrected, this isnt a typical run-in-the-mill game that gets repetitive after a time. You actually have to concentrate, strategize, and play over and over till you get it right to move onto different levels. I'm happy to say I beat all the bosses with all the characters and even replay nightmare level. I hope they'll come up with new characters to play, I would definitely buy into it!!
The gameplay is really good and the element of randomness gives a lot of replay value since every run is going to be different. Almost all the fights can be taken at your own pace (only 1 enemy has a special skill that makes your turn timed) which gives you lots of time to familiarize yourself with the cards. Style is 10/10 lol. There are ads, but you can choose to play without them so it isn't an issue. The game is easier if you watch them but definitely still payable if you don't.
I really enjoy the gameplay, art style, fairy tale asthetics, and the detective-like branching investigations. My only complaint, and a big one for me, is that during the cutscenes where you read the story, the text moves way too fast and I'm unable to read it all before it flips the pages.
I love this game and have bought most of the dlc, however now I can't play the game at all. It continually gives me a network error message and refuses to connect to my Google account. I can't finish my last game, I can't start a new one. I've tried reinstalling the app and it didn't help. Please help, this is one of my favourite games! It seems to have fixed itself but this may be a bug?
I love this game so much, but every time I do a major story event it crashes then freezes and won't let me play-- the first time was when buying the diary from the wish fairy, reinstalling it fixed the issue. The second time was when forgetting the memory card at the tavern, even reinstalling the game isn't helping and I can't play at all. Still giving a 4/5 star rating because even though I can't play at all right now it's so good. (Google Pixel 6 Pro is my phone) Edit: Thank you! Changed to 5⭐
This game is one of my favorite cars games I've played in a long time. There are so many different classes that utilize different quicks, and there are a few builds/paths you can go into for each class, making each run different every time. And when you get very strong, it's very satisfying killing a basic enemy in one turn. Edit: Since the devs updated the game to fix the crashes, it is back to being one of the best mobile games I've ever played! Please don't pass on this game!
Thank you devs for fixing this issue. The game runs great again! The game itself is fully deserving of a 5 star rating. Now the support is as well! Additional add on content is completely worth it. I like everyone else am experiencing the crashing on a Samsung note 10. I have played hundreds of hours and like others was happy to pay to unlock additional content. However when I start up a new campaign I can barely get past one or two bosses. I will gladly change to 5 stars when this is fixed.
Hands down the best mobile game I played in the last few years. Polished and amazing graphics, captivating gameplay, and very addictive. No ads unless you REALLY want that sweet gold, and that is only available three times per game. I bought all the DLCs and I'm enjoying this way too much. I would like to see more, though.
Great game, i buy every updated/new game mode, just one thing, i wish they would add a survival mode, or endeless mode with exponential difficulty, because it is very easy even the hardest modes they have available now, so it gets boring after a while. Update: 2 star because it's not working on new android 12 version. PLEASE FIX IT! Update: yay they fixed it! =) 4 stars again!! (Still waiting endless/survival mode)
Wow. What can I say. Very fun and addicting gameplay- a card-based roguelike similar to something like slay the spire- and with just as much polish! Graphics and sound are top-notch, and ads are very unintrusive- you only need to look at them for bonus stuff. The monetization in general is good- you get 1 class for free (warrior) and can play it as much as you want- then you pay for other classes if you want to expand and play more.
Very well designed. Financially speaking, it uses the best model. No ads, no cash-in upfront, no pay2win. The game lets you play as many walkthrough as you want with the first class, then you can choose to buy the whole classes bundle or the classes separatively if you want to try it a bit more. Speaking about the game itself, it's very fun and rewarding. It emphasizes on both long term and short term strategies, and the gameplay just get you hooked. Cant comment longer. Thanks for the game.
