I have been trying to connect my cameras to my cell phone have tried everything even had technician on line re entered all info and keep get a ( Adding Device) NOTHING, Can not connect to the device a problem with network, device or router Have check EVERYTHING it's really disturbing and the sad thing is a few months ago it was down loaded on my phone working fine and ond day gone.WHY??
App is horrible it doesn't show enough playback you have to refresh the short video clips and it only loads up to 2048 won't go past that you can't get to the videos you actually need to see,they need to update it so you can playback the clip as soon as you get a notification not take you to a live screen by the time it loads whatever was happening you can't see it they need to put a scroll bar on it so you can go back to the exact timeline to view it just like it's on the dvr please update
Update this app!! Hd settings do not stay saved. Video feed skips all the time. This app doesnt give me peace of mind since it doesnt work. My car was vandalized and was under one of my cameras and my motion notifications never went off even tho they are active. Because of this app failing to notify me there was motion i wasnt able to react fast enough to the vandalism to my vehicle in the middle of the night. Horrible app!!
It keeps shutting down the app for no reason. I cannot turn on the microphones on any of the cameras, it doesn't record every motion and it won't notify me on my phone when a motion happens. Does this company even care about their product or customer service? You need A LOT of work on your apps.
App needs improvement. Unable to scroll through video. Must see the entire video to find what we want to see. After spending so much money it's disappointing the App is not working properly with the cameras. I've also tried to download the video but it will not play after downloading. Pls update App asap, or create a new App to work with my Night Owl WNVR model.
There was never a problem with display size and now all of a sudden thetes a problem!! I have had this app for a while on my phone and never had a problem on my Samsung Galaxy S21 ultrawith display size now all of a sudden I get a pop up and the screen is flashing &it says that Night owl doesn't support display size! I have it set2 the lowest display size& theres STILL an issue! Night Owl has more problems than any camera I have used!1 more week& im dumping this trash company into dumpster! Bye
No apps compatible with my wg4 gateway system. sad. getting my money back edit: using Samsung Galaxy 8 in tab or my windows 10 pc. I'm pretty tech savvy none of the apps would work, I tried 3 different apps on my tab. Why so may apps? Keep it simple, make one that actually works. Got no name wifi camera off bargain store shelf that connected with 3 different apps easily.
the app continuously crashes, 90% of the time when I reopen the app, the cameras aren't showing. yet I still get motion notices. I love the system at home, but the app is beyond pathetic
4 years since the last update and it shows. Worked for about 5 minutes then stopped. Cannot use the app ever since trying the tablet app as well, as that no longer works. Devs need to update their apps.... update after devs response they say they want to update to new use cases but still haven't updated the app in 4 years
Unable to see any video playback on my device. What is happening and how can I fix it ? I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app. Rebooted phone and camera unit. Still no video playback. Tried also using night owl x app. No success there either
Pretty good app, straight forward and easy to navigate. Works as expected, I haven't had any issues with it so far and I've had it for 3 years or so.
Never any issues, always good to have a great security system. Would an have recommended Nightowl for security camera systems.
Downloaded app for my android won't fit my screen. Can't access cameras. Keeps saying no devices found, yet it keeps sending motion notifications.
Just got the app and I'm completely frustrated with it. It send notifications when there is absolutely no motion. It appear the doesn't work as it should.
So tired of 4 second downloads that miss the entire 20 second capture of what you wanted. The video shows. Why does the download only save 4 seconds?
Bought the cameras installed them, and trying to use this app on two different tablets it does not work, it has bugs doesn't like the screen size or some other BS about it not functioning accepting my account that works on my cell phone or my home computer
My app stop letting me view playback.The calendar will not let me pick a date to veiw.I reloaded the app twice with no result.Can still watch all camera live that is it. New year this problem returns again.
Works great, as long as I am connected to the home Wifi. What is the point of the app if you can't see the camera remotely
The only people I would recommend these cameras too would be a theft. The app is terrible. And they need to fired all the techs on staff cause none of them want to help to customer. To put it plain and simple stay away for any thing that ces from China......
This app is worthless. Constant alerts but will not connect to the cameras on this device (tablet) at all, connects to pc or phone sporadically. Very dissatisfied.
seems to work well enough. had some freaky power drain problem when I first installed this app that went away after rebooting tablet.
Video play back sometimes does not play anything. Black screen then message pops up saying the video is done playing. Some of the video will not play at all. The full screen live feed is slow to load the video, it lags about 3- 4 seconds. The hold to talk does not work at all.
