Trying to scroll and finger sensitivity is crazy high, 2 finger zoom is terrible/impossible, scaling of content is awful with tiny icons on a high resolution screen and blocky content in the main view itself. I only got this as the weather forecast looked interesting but it gives 0% humidity all the time. Basically, this is completely unusable.
I love the abilities of the app but there should be a menu that specifies the functions of the icons and the pinching gesture never makes it zoom in/out. It just moves elsewhere, normally to see some satellites. Please fix for a better review and I'd pay another 50p for this upgrade.
Great app. There are several like it but this app seems to have some more features than the rest of them (light spectrum, star-gazing, etc). I like the option to search for things, that really helps if you want to learn about something specific. The controls could use some work, dragging your finger seems to go really fast and is hard to control at times. The menu buttons are also very small and not very mobile friendly. Overall, could be improved but I appreciate the work the developers put in and definitely has an edge on others like it.
The buttons are far too small to even press, the app itself is laggy, and lastly it's almost impossible zoom because the moment you press your finger on the screen the sky map moves as though you're not using the built in compass on your phone. "Skyview" is a far better stargazing app.
Its rubbish. I can accept that the makers can use GPS to know where the phone is and what the sky should look like, but if you imagine they can in some way 'know which way your phone is pointing at any given moment then you've been smoking too many fairy leaves. There are loads of complaints all over the internet from people just like me, who see North labelled on the display for any and every direction they point their phone.
Being a man of my words, I removed the post that I made last night. This app is working great now. I face a certain direction it point there, as I turn it turns with me. I will once again promote your app. All three of them, Night Sky, Night Sky Lite, Night Sky Pro. Please do me and others this small favor. And all of us will be more happy with these apps. That is the tool parts, mack those buttons a little bigger and a little bit more space between them. Thank you for a great app.
"Touch and move" moves sky with 10x finger speed. Makes it impossible to navigate the sky. Aligning to the world, both up/down and north/east/west/south with GPS and build-in tilt doesn't work. Two fingers focuses on "up" and zooms in and out too fast. Icons insanely small. Should copy movement of Google earth and the like, but doesn't. Maybe better on a tablet.
The weather and light pollution information is unique to this app and a very nice feature, but unfortunately I have the same basic control issues that many other Android users are reporting. Moving the view with your finger is too fast/sensitive, and zooming absolutely does not work, which makes the core function of this app more or less broken and not usable. Also very disappointed to learn that (I think) buying the pro version only got me a six month subscription? I'm really not sure what I
Unless you pay a large fee onto of the download fee you really cannot do anything. I consider it to be a ripoff. What a pity. It used to be so good before avarice popped it's head up.....
I know my directions Says I'm facing east. When I am clearly facing west. Way wrong even with a recalibration, it wrong.
Liked the Lite version, so bought the pro, but it ruined the app. Couldn't even see the sun. Will get a refund just to get it to work again. Let me know when you've fixed it so I can buy it again.
Keeps crashing, I can see the moon but the app doesn't. My GPS is on but app shows the wrong coordinates. Not a happy customer. Please fix bugs.
I want a refund. I've emailed twice saying your app doesn't work and keeps resetting to North when I touch the screen and I've had no response. Not very impressed at all.
I love space and this a fab app to travel and explore the great night sky. Love it.😉
screen too touchy when you zoom in it totally changes your view. no comets like ios version. not a happy user
I love this app. I had it on my old Samsung and have now got it on my HTC and now my Oneplus 5. If you have problems with it wanting Internet, just scroll through to the end and click the button. It shouldn't ask again and should start. M.
Great app but if you guys can put azimuth angle and altitude in real time would be really great. Should have been 5. Badly need azimuth angle
Can not even open. Crashes immediately on S7 edge. I want my money back.
keeps resetting , makes screen over sensitive to touch.
I really like this app. More than any other I have used. My phone, others have no troubles, but my phone never collaborates probably making the sky hard to navigate. Any help?
Downloaded on Samsung S7. And keeps stopping. Won't even open. Useless
Crap music and sits forever on loading screen
Every time I open the app it shuts down
Fails to even open. "App keeps stopping" error on Samsung S6. Unusable.
Used to be great. Now the app just crashes when opening
When I move my Samsung Galaxy S6 around the stars change to match the ones in the sky but on the Galaxy Tab A it says I'm facing South but I'm actually facing East?!
There's one problem, it doesn't show all stars in the sky.
The Widget doesn't work. Even in a Samsung Galaxy 21 Ultra.
