I like the fact that this game raises people's awareness not only when it comes to the dangers of malaria, but also its prevention. It also presents a way for us to contribute/donate against the sickness, which I don't mind at all as it's for a good cause. When it comes to the gameplay itself, touch navigation isn't that good but the game design is eerily captivating. The start animation was also very well done. It would be nicer though if Google+ integration is added in the future.

Asus Nexus 7 If you like Limbo, you will love this game. Its basically the same concept as Limbo, but with color and maybe a notch below overall because Limbo is tough to beat. The menus are nicely setup, easy to navigate through. Controls are different and require mastering and a breeze once you get used to em'. Graphics fit game size perfectly and are really vibrant and smooth. Recommended to any Limbo fans. Luckily I got this the moment all the bugs were fixed, according to past reviews. 0 problems here.

Although the game is rather repetitive at first, it delivers a very important message. The game is not only amusing and intense to play but is raising awareness for this horrifying disease. The graphis are amazing and the music is eerie and can almost be thought of as scary. I think that this makes the game fun to play but also allows you to remember the terrifying disease that exists to this day. I recommend you play this game with headphones to really become involved with the danger that surrounds this young child.

I understand the idea behind this but realistically the malaria info and donation requests are a little too in your face. The opening animation was good and it would have been far better to continue with that story. I'm sure you'd have got more donations by appealing to people's emotions than essentially spamming them for $3 at the end of each level. Mosquito nets are nothing more than a compromise anyway. Eradication is the only answer. It would have worked last time if they'd have carried on funding it.

This is the best way to advertise a cause! Make a game about it! The creepy vibe made me realize how serious malaria really is. I think all charities should do something like this. I bet it won't beat your fluid animations and stunning graphics, though.

But I have too much trouble with the controls. Most of the time they don't register, although its better when I turn off control display. The need to constantly slide to the side to move the girl gets frustrating, especially when it doesn't read the slide right. A simple tap to move control system may be easier? Aside from that, the art is beautiful, as is the concept behind the game. If the controls get more comfortable to use, I'll give it another go.

I think it's a noble cause to create a game that helps with malaria, it is a serious infection. Im uninstalling due to the blantant, asking for donations after every single level. Add a single button where if people want to donate they can there. This game is nice for children its very simple and slow. You rescue teddy bears while avoiding the baddies that will kill you. You only get 1 life. Cute graphics, i enjoyed them. Great idea though nice job.

This actually reminds me of Limbo, which I've enjoyed quite a lot.very good idea devs! The only drawback i can find is the right controller. Please add an option to move it. I can't go left guys!! My finger always gets outside of the screen. When this will be fixed, the game will get the awesome 5 stars it deserves!

This is the best game I've played in a while. It delivers the message that malaria is still a big problem in a very good way and all the developer asks is that you donate so that mosquito nets can be given to those who need them and did I mention that the game is free not freemium free as in no ads no transactions free

For a game that has been made to raise awareness about Malaria, it's really well done! Great Limbo-like visual style, nice hand drawn intense cutscenes and good level design. Joystick controls for movement may not seem like the best choice, but they help in doing small movements, something that gets crucial if you are gonna go completitionist and get all the collectibles. No ads whatsoever, they only ask you (in a not intrusive way) if you want to donate $3 to buy someone in need a special mosquito net :)

One of the best games I've played by far. Nightmare shares all the unsettling fear and horrific tone of Limbo wrapped into a handheld app. The beauty of the art style was more than enough to grab my attention. Although the tone of the game itself is ment to be dark the story, however brief, gives it a feel of optimism. The U.I. is simplistic, but the gameplay is fun and challenging. Dodging enemys, timing jumps, and using your environment to manuver through levels is amazing. I'm begging to see more.

Sweet! I definitely liked the idea behind this game. Good idea to gain some financial support for a foundation against malaria. Even though the gameplay was sometimes a bit unresponsive and irritating, I still liked the bouncy elements in it. The different colors and the artstyle were also aesthetically pleasing. Levels also got more tough towards the end. Overall, pretty solid game. I'd definitely recommend this, the physics, visuals and ambient sound are fantastic :D

I love the gameplay; very simple and easy to move about. I like the dark sounds and the designs on the game; it sure makes me wanna help for the fight against malaria. It's difficult to find a unique game to enjoy. Very nice job on this, and the small story that came with it!

I really hate the bouncy things , their annoying . But I really appreciate that you guys made an unbelievable game about and against malaria, and show how bad it is😔 I really like it when every time you lost or die in the game , it always gives you some really cool interesting facts about malaria👍 I love it and for my age 13 it's really good❤and it's really sad when I don't get all three teddy bears ,it's sad I don't know why❤ but because of all the bouncy things all over the place, not that I don't want them there, cause I get that you guys want the game more challenging, soon that's why I am giving it 4 stars🌟🌟🌟🌟 but it's really a good/inspiring game✨🎮

Main quality of this game is that it is quite educational so I love this game a lot. Graphics are extremely amazing and I loved the Brain section a lot, Controls are perfect God bless you devs and Keep it up devs 👍👍...and I hope games like this will help the kind souls suffering from fatal disease of this kind.

No words can express how horrible a plague it is...but do you think if you harangue people for "donations" and bombard them with terrible statistics every 45 seconds that's going to help your cause? And while this grim farce of a game is burning my fingers from heating up my phone? (What kind of resource hog IS this, anyway?) Gameplay is repetitive, like playing 1 level over and over again. Graphics are cool, but with the aforementioned problems, doesn't make me want to play OR donate. Just makes me itchy.

Lil. M. Aug 28, 2016

I literally just got through the first level and loved it. Then it prompted me with a question to pay $3 for a net and hit the donate button. I came back to read the description and love this game even more. You get a super creepy game and a way to help people.

Ben. A. Apr 7, 2014

The game is more of a social cause with constant facts about malaria and how bad it can be. The game in itself is well done. Controls, physics, visuals and sound are top notch. Right to the font even. The asking for the social cause maybe intrusive, but hey you'll be saving lives! All in all worth it to try.

I have a brother whos 1 year old I don't want to play this game but this game it heartbreaking

Alf. D. Dec 15, 2013

This is a very good concept to raise awareness, beautiful graphics, spine chilling facts and oddly a soothing game. Great job, I wish game developing veterans would think like you guys and not smash purchases in their games in the gamer's faces.

Comands are a bit confusing and frustrating, but the game is beautifully illustrated and really puts things in a prospective. It reminds us of a old demon that today is alive as it was five years ago, but that now sounds almost "out of fashion", what with this damned economy and ebola and whatsoever.

Hig. M. Jan 26, 2015

I'm not sure the medical validity of removing teddy bears from a girl's blood stream is going to cure her malaria. The teddy bears are keeping her alive! Still a cool game and I like that it supports a cause rather than being filled by ads.

Ale. B. Jan 29, 2014

I can't even play the first level of this game. It crashes so badly that I have to remove the battery from my phone just to close the app. So sad.

Ker. V. Jan 18, 2015

I love this game, the whole idea behind it is really cool. I think the art stule is really cool and I think it is a unique twist on a platformer type game. Haven't finishes yet bit I am really enjoying it.

This game is so awesome and creepy at same time. I didn't know malaria was this bad.
