NightVision Light
In observing with a telescope at night, you need to adapt your eye to the dark environment so that you can perceive a faint celestial object in the field of view of your telescope’s eyepiece. The eye will become adapted to night vision as the pupil is fully opened. However, you may occasionally want to check with a celestial map in the dark or you may need to illuminate around your hands to operate the telescope, a camera and so on. In such a case a white-lit flashlight contracts the pupil and you will have to wait a while until the eye accommodate to the dark again.
The Night Vision Light app helps to hold your night vision in the dark by simply turning the screen of your smart phone into a red-lit flashlight. The illumination of the red light can be adjusted to brighter or dimmer by swiping up or down on the screen. The setting of the brightness is saved for next time use.

Turned on the screen went red and literally didn't turn on and function as a night vision system was hoping for better
Doesn't seem to bother the gecko at all. Much better than others as it doesn't leave any normal light on the screen.

Very simple but effective full screen red light. Really easy to adjust intensity.
Bright enough and well done, but when the screen times out, it's gone. You need to fix it so that it stays on until the user closes it. The first time I needed it, it let me down.

Pretty dumb description says it turns your flashlight to red light not your screen on your phone and still stupidly doesnt do anything else but that wow....lame

Stupid app
red light is mostly used by the comandos or any night mission. they use the red light while in dark jungle instated of normal ones because when theres a sudden change from red light to totall darkness..even tho its dark but u may still have 8- 14% vision of surrounding but if normal light to totall darkness ..even theres full moon u got 0 visual for afew moment and that they may lost thier life in split second.. correct me if im wrong..tq
FINALLY!!! A red screen app which uses a BLACK background for the menu bar! I've tried a half dozen other apps which ruin night vision by using a white background. This one is perfect!

Turn u screen red not light bulb
Tried a few "red light" apps for night use and this is by far the best. Simple swipe up/down for intensity and the optional screen white accessed from the dot in the bottom right corner... this too can be dimmed with a swipe. My only issue was finding how to turn it off as is is in full screen mode - just needed to swipe up from bottom to display navigation bar... sorted!
