I purchased the Nike Auto Max and downloaded the Nike Adapt app. I've never been more disappointed with a purchase. The shoes and app never seem work together. The shoes are constantly disconnecting from the app. The app always says the shoes firmware needs to be updated when it's not needed. The lights work part of the time. The shoes always loosen. Oh and that time the left shoe stopped working for about a month. I could go on & on...DONT BUY these SHOES!
Version 1.27.1 is broken. When updated the app crashes on launch, doesn't matter if you clear app data and Bluetooth pairing or reinstall. I had to get 1.26 from an apk site in order to use the app again on my OnePlus 8 Pro.
It is working well for a long time and suddenly, the app can't load on newer model of Android. What's going on?
It could include more Tutorial videos in the app. I had to search online how to System Reset the shoes after pairing issue. Resolved.
Love the shoes the app is so so. I can't get the lights to work when I go to one of my presents. Haven't found a troubleshooting part of the app.
Google Assistant (voice commands) support dropped? The Nike Adapt App Version 1.22.0 lists the words "Google Assistant" in the settings. (Notifications, Support, About, Google Assistant, App Icons, Partners, Privacy, Logout) The Nike Adapt App Version 1.26.0 does not list Google Assistant in the settings. (Notification, Support, About, App Icons, Partners, Privacy, Logout) Today (4.30.22) when I tried using Google Assistant with Nike Adapt V 1.22.0, and also V 1.26.0; it no longer works.
Was really good until last update, can't access the app anymore, and when I can it doesn't let me do anything
I finally got the app to work after like 15 min of self troubleshooting! the app works great when it works, wish I wouldn't have to reconnect every time I want to use the app (left shoe takes a bit longer to reconnect for some reason?) Also, I would love it if there were an option to keep the buttons lit up the entire time instead of just when im pressing them, it would be so much more stylish and futuristic like!
The app doesn't work accordingly with my note 8. It doesn't connect to my right shoe while on the left side it's working properly. Tried doing software update but it doesn't update, tried turning on/off the right side but it still doesn't work. Tried on my wife's iphone, app and shoes are working properly. Hope you find a solution for android user.
Had issues connecting, but after resetting the sneaker it works great. But is the only reason I give a 4 stars, but it should be more intuitive to fix that issue.
The app definitely needs a bug fix! With that said, if you havent updated the app you can try this it worked for me. If your shoes aren't pairing or you're getting the "already paired" error message, system rest both shoes and clear the cache and data in the app settings. Try pairing shoes again and see what happens. I hope this is able to help until Nike applies a software update that fixes the bugs.
Its one of Nikes best apps ever that goes with the shoes. Its awesome. The one thing its missing is that there should be a setting where you can keep the color on the shoes you want turned on the whole time. And a setting where the setting let you have the colors on your shoes rotate from one color to the next that would be really cool.
I just got my Nike Adapt Auto Max's, they require an E.A.R.L. software update right out of the box. That update fails every time it's enacted. I uninstalled the app, reset the shoes and unpaired them from my Bluetooth and then reinstalled the app, reconnected my Auto Max's and it failed despite numerous attempts of this process. My phone is a newer model, my software is up to date and I've got plenty of internal storage. Customer service queue is 45+min.
I just got a pair of adapt bb 2.0 and honestly the app is awesome!! Connected to my shoes immediatley I updated the firmware and everything works absolutley perfectly, all the lights work the auto lace works flawlessly when putting them on and they calibrate perfectly too I tried it 3 times and they calibrated to the exact same fit all 3 times.. just wanted to see if it actually calibrated to your foot or if it could vary, and I love the heel tap to untie, I can't wait to see what's next!! ππ
App isn't working properly. It will connect to shoes but then gets stuck on the connect screen. It will repeatedly tell you the shoes are already paired but it won't allow you to advance past the 'pairing' screen. Tried deleted the app and unlearning the Blu tooth and starting over and it's still doing the same thing. Pretty disappointing for a $350 pair of shoes.
worked for about an hour until the left one decided not stay connected. did the system reset and now it won't let me reconnect. Update #2: Nike was gracious and sent a replacement pair and so far so good. I'll bump this up to 5 stars if they continue connecting for the next few days. Update #3: Back to not connecting. Says they're still paired. Update #4: Guys- just watch the system reset video. It fixed all my issues.
We need more colors π dope shoes though I wish I could customize my colors they way my outfit was I wear a lot of neon colors and it just sit right π

My shoes aren't turning on, the app is not working. What a mess. I didn't pay peanuts for this to happen.
The Shoes are fire, everything i hoped for.. The app could use a few more tweaks.. why can't I see my shoe settings BEFORE I save it as a "preset? As far as the light options, cool you can have them pulsate (5 min, 30 min,1hr) how about cycling through the colors (auto) or when the shoe comes on, it starts front button green, back blue, then changes as it goes through the colors (for lack of a better word, it kind of "transitions") through...wheres that opt? And change fit from app
I bought the shoe in February first release. The shoe paired perfectly. Once I put the shoe away, I haven't been able to pair with the app. I reset the shoe like the website suggest I reinstalled the app and still not working. It keep telling me the shoe is paired and not paired at the same time. Very frustrating. The shoe alway auto tighten on it's own without me even having the app installed on my phone. I am hoping with the new release today the app i working again.
I've had the adapt bb for over a year and recently purchased the auto max. They both run from the app but when I try to select the pulsing led option it takes me to a software update screen and when I select this it tells me my software is up to date. Come on Nike!this should've throughly tested before releasing. You can't advertise this as part of the auto max features and it not work. Please fix it, sooner rather than later.
This app is ridiculous. I bought a pair of Nike adapt bb 2.0. Installed them out of the box. No problem. Liked it so much I bought a second pair. Thats when all the problems started. The second pair wouldn't add. It keeps saying shoes already paired. I've done total resets a dozen times. I watched all the you tube videos. I deleted the app and installed again. Now both pairs of shoes keep saying they're already paired and nothing works. FIX THE APP NIKE! These shoes ain't cheap.
Yesterday, my shoes were functioning fine up until I went to run the latest update. Once I updated the EARLO/S my Nike Adapt BB2.0 started malfunctioning. They will not connect to the app stating that they are already connected to another device. The left shoe is barely responsive. and the buttons function inverted. Tried to hardware reset them and that did not work. When you pay $400.00 for shoe technology of this type you should have support to roll the update back to the previous version.
App was great until it wasn't one day shoes were no longer in the app when I tried to re-ad them back it was a pain because it took several tries before it worked. This happened 3 times but this last time the app stopped working altogether after clearing the cache and storage data the app still will not work anymore. For a $400 price point they should work constantly and for more than a year. The app is storing data somewhere else possibly in the Google cache or in another Nike app.
