Ninebot

Pretty good, but missing some helpful features. For example, it would be great to be able to limit speed on standard and sport mode (to 25kph which is the limit in most European countries). Also LEDs could just be on instead of having to "breath". Feels like there are some common sense features missing.

Good app with good features for my ES2 but almost every time I open the app it crashes and I have to open it again before it works. and it also sometimes has a difficulty of connecting. and It's not practical that I have to manually connect my scooter every time... couldn't it just automatically connect when I turn it on? (the scooter) like for example wireless headphones...

Got the makings of being a good app but, not intuitive at all. Needs to Auto connect via Bluetooth when scooter is switched on. Locking function is a good idea but fairly useless especially once the scooter turns off the locking function is cancelled. A more detailed onstruction manual would be good via the App. Like what is happening when charging reaches 100% and the lights flicker bright red etc instead of normal breathing

App no longer crashing. I think the problem was caused by "Don't keep activities" setting in Developer mode on Android. Seeing App properly now, it's a bit basic in rider options; would like less aggressive tilt back option... too dangerous at present (firmware). Crashing most of the time was that clicking on a menu item incorrectly sent me to the fan moments. Some options say Network not found and various menu options give "Unfortunately, Segway-Ninebot has stopped". Same with 19 Jan version.

There is a major issue with the new firmware just put out for the ninebot es2 put out through this app. The update has disabled the regenerative breaking when the throttle is released. Now when the throttle is released nothing happens and the scooter does not slow, and changing the settings on the app has no effect. Breaking power is also way down and takes a second or two to begin being applied. It's now quite dangerous.

I'm very sure after the latest update, my scooter turns itself off too soon and hence the BT disconnection. Not very helpful. At all. But if you lock the vehicle, it wont turn off no matter how long you click on it. Is this the new feature? Also, others keep commenting on the distance range for BT has dropped after this update? Keeps on disconnecting though they are within range... This update bugs me. May I know the reason for this new feature? If it is helping, why??

The App sometimes crashed, if only the scooter switchs off itself, so.. you have to exit the App, and the re-connected again. And in android App, it has only 2 features in the App, (vehicle and me), there's no *fan moment and daily status* like the ads showed. Plus, I really appreciate if the software team can also integrate the map, so that one can know, which mileage and where the scooter had gone. The last suggestion, how can we trace if the scooter got stolen? Thanks Team, for your effort

I'm getting aggravated. For starters its keeps telling me that I have to do a upgrade to it, however when I try to to the upgrade it takes me right back to the original version and wont let me. Another thing I thought that once I did all the tutorials on it then it would go faster then it does . I mean I cant go faster then 10mph on the dang thank. That is extremely slow. Will someone plz help me .

Can you add features please? Make turning off vehicle once locked, instead of having to go to settings. Also, can you add a safety mode, where the lights flash and the buzzer constantly beeps like a forklift so we can use them in a warehouse please. And cant update to new version, when the app store launches, it just wants to open old version.

Wasted over 12 hours trying to get segway minilite to connect to my phone. Never would stay connected longer than 10 seconds. Firmware update made it to 1% once that was very exciting. Not sure if it is apps fault or hardware issue. Tech support is flip it over and reset segway then reinstall app. Oh they did ask me to take a screen shot for them. My advice test your product before shipping. Rarely do I leave a bad review on anything, but I will never spend another cent towards segway again.

Prior to the last update, even though I could connect my Android phone to my segway ES2, the, APP kept crashing since the moment the settings menu was selected. The last update did not solve the problem, and the APP keeps crashing. Quite dissapointed by the way the APP developers are unable to sort it out.

If something works as intended and advertised. There are no complaints. Great job and keep up the good work in updates. The only feature I would like to see added is it works with wear OS for smart watches so we can see a speedometer instead of having the phone out.

Tries to update to an entire different app, it's the wrong version for the ninebot. Could be user error or could be bad code. Either way it's just a glitch and the app is pretty cool. Unfortunately auto downloaded someone's videos from the forum. Interesting.

This app just works ok, but UX can be improved. I want not only lock my Ninebot on the main screen but also turn on/off lights, please remove the speed from it, it's useless cause I don't use my phone while riding to check the speed. And turn off camera launch on swipe up/down. Let user customize main screen and control vehicle from it. And do something with app update popup — it appears every time, but there is no update in market when I click the button.

Terrible functionality. Impossible to register. I've created a login ID but the verification code will not send to my email. I had to get a code from tech support. Then I go to login and get the message, "this account does not exist". Then I go to register and get the message, "this account already exists". I'm in some limbo where my account both exists and doesn't exist according to their system. Their customer service is useless. It's been months and the issue is unresolved.

Had a problem until I created an account and signed in, still can't figure out why the compass on the app won't change from north. Overall, this is a great app when you sign in, if not there are many glitches.

Simple and easy to use but why is there not a smart watch version This app would be perfect on my galaxy gear watch and would be perfect for the lock feature Also if it could be used on a watch why not add a stand by mode to the scooter that turns off the dash display after 20 seconds of no use ? A simple tap of the watch wakes it up a second tap to unlock and off you go No messing with phones etc as most smart watches have the same tech as a phone ie gps bluetooth wifi etc etc

Everything was fine until I reached 50km threshold and was reqiured to read safety guide again. After 6 seconds countdown nothing was shown but a blank screen. Force close the app and same thing happened again. I am not able to use any function of the app. Please fix!

Drains battery by accessing GPS all the time. Crashes all the time. No way to stop scooter bottom from blinking (and show just one color). The distance prediction is extremely bad (it shows 2x bigger distance and it doesn't learn from my usage statistics).

No scooter models in the app and so not supported for mileage, manuals etc. Device can only be locked if you leave it powered on constantly. Unable to check mileage and battery power remaining from last state in the app (just needs to remember) without powering on and standing next to the scooter. Pointless

Unable to ad phone number to my registered account, as the country code for Australia (+61) is unavailable. Unsure why the app doesn't keep phone screen on and phone unlocked while riding, to enable me to use the speedo, etc as I am riding. Feedback received is in very poorly translated English, to the point I gave up trying to decypher. Every time I open the app on my phone, it says an update is Available , click on the update button and it takes me to the play store where no updates there

"Account does not exist". Not sure what I did wrong, but I can't log into my account that I just created. Even after resetting my password multiple times. Update: Still nothing from the developer yet about the issue with the sign in issue. When registering I'm only given an option to use my email "only". I'm going to leave this review as 1 star, until the problem is resolved. Which is ridiculous given that I paid $749 "pre-order" for a premium scooter that only half works.

This app is the WORST app! it wont accept my registration after setting up an account and I cant login, "account does not exist".. 10 min later I get an email with chinese writing for the email verification code. When I manage to finally get into the app the interface looks nothing like the pictures, just a speed guage. The faq section is broken English, for a big company like Segway?! I dont trust the firmware or the app permissions I gave it. I will give Segway an absolute piece of my mind!!!

horrible product. Doesn't work consistently. Doesn't connect to Bluetooth at times, doesn't allow you to turn it off at times, way too complicated and much less reliable than the electric scooters like bird that you can rent

Ever since the last update in June my app no longer connects to my ES1. It will initiate the scan, but never connects to my scooter. Please fix ASAP. I doubt I am the only one this is happening to. Update: The July 30th update initially worked and allowed me to connect to my ES1 and update the scooter firmware. As of today 8/5/2019 the app will no longer connect to my scooter. This is beyond frustrating. C'mon!!!
