Ninja Focus: Mindfulness & Sleep for Kids :)

I kinda liked this app for sleeping. My favorite track is 'Piano Zzz's' and it's also the only reason that I kept the app. I've had this app for a long time, at least two years. At that time, everything was free and you didn't have to sign up for anything. It was so simple design wise and UI wise. Now, I'm not saying they shouldn't progress but only 2 of 16 (12.5%) of lullabies are free. THAT'S OUTRAGEOUS. TL;DR | I hate when apps (like this one) are doing so well and turn into a cash grab. 🙄

This seems like a scam. I downloaded the app, they sent confirmation email, then the email got me to open the app and then a constant loop. It won't let me get into the app, since I signed up. Any help would be appreciated.

My kids enjoy the app. But it keeps crashing on us. And it would be nice if they updated the stories for sleep. Or had a larger selection, my kids have listened to the same stories so many times they aren't helpful anymore.

We really love this app. It has a lot of amazing activity for developing mindfulness, so many good guided meditations, great music, we have so much fun, dancing together as a family. The only annoying thing is that often the songs or the meditations stop to work half way through, for the music we don't mind, but when we are trying to focus on the meditation it is tricky. But to be a free app is packed with good content. Thank you so much.

I really like this app and have been recommending it to several of my middle school clients who have challenges with emotion regulation. Unfortunately, I have run into the problem of the app freezing on the initial screen upon opening. So far the only way I have been able to unfreeze it is to restart my phone.

Keeps crashing 2 minutes into any dreamscape or story since the last update. Very frustrating because we loved this app before. Edited my rating April 30 - Thank you! The update has addressed my issue. This app is great for children, amazing to help wind them down for sleep. Or if you need a quick bedtime story. My 3 year old and 8 year old get use out of it.

My son and I are really enjoying this app. As someone that meditates regularly, it's nice to have a practice and instruction that's more kid oriented. We do have an issue with the app, where I receive persistent notifications that the app is "downloading...". It is not obvious what it's downloading or why it is perpetually doing so. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling and the issue persists. If this gets resolved, I'm happy to update with five stars.

EXCELLENT app. The main screen music is too loud in comparison to the meditations. I turn the volume all the way up for instructions, then its blasting when it returns to the menu. I wish it was more manageable by the parent. I need to delete an account I made because there is no way to see what accounts you have and I didnt know I already had one and duplicated. I want it to stay signed in instead of me having to sign my kids in every.single.time. they want to use it. Its obnoxious...

The app worked very well before the update. We used it almost every night (not the sleep stories, though - the little one found them too scary). The app doesn't work at all since the update. The screen loads up but we can't seem to click on any of the items.

The app was great before the update. It now crashes often and locks up. Also not impressed with the locking of some previously accessible lullabies and stories. Update: I wanted to say thank you for your response to my original review and for unlocking the original stories etc. My son continues to listen nightly and we are considering a subscription.

Update: Ninja Focus kindly opened up a bunch of the content for an extended period. We are back to happily using it for the time being. Thank you Ninja Focus! Loved until the update. Our 6 month trial ran out or something, now so much of it is locked. We do use it every night and my son absolutely loves falling asleep listening to the stories and music. I am now looking for a free app, as this one is expensive to purchase a membership.

Great app! My son often has millions of thoughts swirling around in his head, but he likes to listen to different tracks to help him refocus and fall asleep. But when he turns on notifications, they automatically readjust themselves. Thank you very much for this update which resolved it completely!!

Too many technical issues. Premium drops without notice constantly, leaving me paying for a service my child can't use. Really disappointing as otherwise this is an app my child loves. Cancelled my subscription. Edit: reply from developers is inaccurate. Bugs have not been fixed, all of my issues still remain - in addition to new ones.

Absolutely love this app. My 8 year old tried the sleepy shores lullaby "relax under the stars" and he was knocked out within 5 minutes. He loved the hibernate sleep meditation last night , the voice is very soothing and got him down in 2 minutes! It's normally a battle to get him to bed. He also loves the animations! We are gonna use this every night !!! Thank you! Would love to see more lullabies

Keep getting a message that the app is getting server timeouts when it's not even running. How much data are you collecting????? Edit: Your reply does not explain why the server timeout error was regularly popping up when the app was closed, even after a reboot. Why was it even trying to connect? Now I'm worried it wasn't your servers it was trying to connect to.

Update to original review: Even on our legacy tablet sony z4, it works smoothly now! Great job and thanks! - Now I just need to get the kids more involved again :P Original review 02/03/2020: (3 stars) Absolutely love the app for the 5 and 7 year old kids and myself... When it works. Unfortunately it started crashing after a few days and now it hardly ever starts. For debugging: I log in via facebook and we have added 4 users. We don't have a subscription. Hope you find the bug!

I have a 3 year old son and it usually takes him an hour to sleep. So we tried Sleepy Shores and it took him half the time to fall asleep! We really love the lullabies. It helps us wind down and let go of all the stress we had after a long day. PS when you go into the Sleepy Shores the song that's playing in the background is my favorite 😊 So soothing to listen to! I even sometimes find myself putting it on in my car while I drive in the crazy traffic with Sebastián!

I really love the way my son is improving with this app. He loves it. There is some things that I feel should change but I know that you guys are still improving the app. Parents if you have very active or even unmotivated children this app will help alot. I even listen alone sometime. The narrator's voice is so soothing

This app used to be so good with every thing being free, and having "locations" on the map, but now you have to pay for LITERALLY every thing on it. My kids can't even use it because of the amount of times it tells us to pay for premium! And，not to mention, that how many times if glitches out not letting my kids listen to anything 😡! Please fix this!

A quick review of the app tells me that my 4 years old would enjoy the app. But I was trying to change the colors of the outfit and it just keeps loading so I have to close and restart. I have already re installed the app but have the same loading screen on the changing clothing color tab.

Since the update the app doesnt work. It freezes, and wont let me open the stories. Then they say the "free" trial is over, but I cant see any free content. Was going to subscribe but app doesnt work since the update.

Please fix the app up. Since the new update has happened, it continually crashes which is not helping sleep routines for my son, he suffers from anxiety and is not wanting to be separated from me, this app has helped me be able to get him back into his own bed. Background music is too loud. When I open the app in my Pixel 2, it cause my phone crash, so far twice already. One time it make my phone in a reboot loop. Content is good but could use a way to attract bigger kids that think breathing exercises are silly.

Overall it's a great app. But there are certain activities that will not give my daughter her ninja points. It'll say that we skipped the track even though the screen is dark and the phone is on the shelf. Once this is fixed then I'll but the subscription. Until then it's a no for me.

I really like this app, it's really cute and fun,even if you're not a kid. XD I'm currently not sure what the membership is,nor is there any about info in the app that I could find. But I love the animations,music and overall positivity! I look forward to it's future. :3 ❤️

We love(d) this app. The meditations are great. The bedtime stories are classic, tho a little scary. However, the update locked essentially all the meditations behind a paywall. These were meditations available yesterday and not today. I believe the update was poorly handled. If new material went behind the paywall I get it. But taking away something that was offered free is frustrating Especially since this was marketed as a BIG update. More like a BIG step backwards and makes the app unusuable

Fell in love with this app. And then a couple weeks later have to pay for it. Im so disappointed if I could give it 0 stars i would. This is the ONLY thing that works for my kid. Im not paying monthly for this. We live bill to bill. And that with 3 things to pay for thats it. Because we are broke, had me thinking that this was an app for us. Guess not.

The app is currently terrible. It does not load at all. I have tried on 3 devices and and iPad and the app freezes and doesn't load despite how many times I close and restart the app. Sort it out as my kids like this!!

This app is a must for kids, teenagers or people who just love to be childish and joyous. Everything is within this app including Meditation Mindfulness Sleep stories Music Yoga Daily affirmation Etc... The narrator's voice is amazing and soothing. Their are meditations or sessions starting from 1min to even 20 min. This app deserved 5 starts and I am just 14, and almost tried every app for meditation including their prime features but nothing is better than this and everything is free

Very helpful it get kids excited to do more with rewarding stars and points. If you want kids to learn meditation try this app my son do it twice a week better then nothing. If you can add something fun to it for kids to get more interested would be grateful but am very happy with no ads 😊 thankyou god bless.
