As others have reviewed, the biggest issue in this game is being stuck on walls when trying to move vertically or horizontally. The dash becomes too rigid you have to swipe multiple times to get past it. Another thing is the coin's low appearance rate. My dismay here is the mission that requires me to kill 10 riflemen with shuriken. Though this sounds easy, it's not because you'll need good RNG for the buff to appear and the riflemen to appear while you have the buff; I'd like bosses added here.
Im gonna give some real feedback, aight? I'll do it because i legit like playing this game. The camera is a problem. Everytime i play, i really want to go fast and get as far as i can. So i tend to be at the top of the screen, because the camera moves in relation to the spikes that rise from the bottom. Then more often than not, i end up hitting spikes that i had no chance of seeing. It seems like something you designers knew was going to happen, so i can guess that i am supposed to play with this limitation. But why? Limiting myself just ruins the flow of the game. Because now instead of blasting through the tower and navigating the obsticles as fast as i can, i have to move slowly to wait for the spikes to rise to my level. So im going to pull out my masters degree in game design (sarcasm) and suggest some changes. The easiest change is to have multiple difficulties that change how much hits you can take. But the problem is, most people dont like playing lower difficulties on games that seem so simple, so few will choose the lower ones. Another change is to design the premade segments with some walls in the middle of the screen before having spiked obstacles that i can kill myself on. But this requires changing almost every segment to accommadate the camera. A third option that i dont see any problems with is making the camera keep the player in the middle as much as possible as long as they are going up, and keeping the spikes glued to the bottom of the screen. This will allow the player to see what is coming, and still have a good idea on how close the spikes at the bottom are. Disclaimer, if i didnt make it clear earlier, i like this game and want to continue playing it. Take my feedback as more of a contribution to the game if you will.
While the game is amazing to play, I do have a few bones to pick with it. First of all, when pausing the game, the game shouldnt point towards the button. Second, the constant stick to surfaces mechanic is perfect except for one small detail. When sticking to a ceiling you shoudnt go an inch at a time trying to move along it. Besides these few features game is great! Oh yeah and the sniper ninjas need to have shorter range and longer time to line up their shot as one hit is op as it is now.
This is a really good mobile game. It has a good endless mode, is offline, and is easy to learn while still keeping a high skill ceiling. The only problem I have with it is that coins are oh so rare and, besides looking cool, there is no reason to kill the enemies in endless mode. A solution to both problems would be for kills to give you coins. There are tons of customizable accessories as well, so the low amount of coins gotten doesn't really seem to make sense. Overall, great on the go game.
This is a very great game, but there are a few things that I wish were improved. Sometimes your character will get stuck on walls and corners when you're trying to jump quickly. Also I wish killing enemies held bigger rewards, there's not really any point to it especially in endless mode where you can just go past them. I also wish endless mode had more variety, sometimes I'll see the same layout two or three times in a row.
Certainly one of if not the best mobile games I've played. One of those that is very aware of it's mobile game status. The controls are simple and it obviously looks beautiful. My biggest issue stems from the fact that it hasn't really changed in the last 4 years. On top of that, the enemies make the game feel more like One Punch Man than Naruto if you catch my drift, they don't really provide much depth or challenge. Otherwise everything good about the game is great. An excellent time passer.
The game is really good with minimal ads which aren't annoying and only come up when u want them to like press a button for a reward or something. The games concept is good with good level design and the graphics and art style and good and suit the game. Found it really fun and definitely worth downloading. It's controls are decent but annoying and unresponsive at times. Very hard at times and a checkpoint system would be good for casual players. Kinda of buggy too sometimes.
Five stars. this is a fun, fast paced game where you can choose extremely challenging or easy levels, its very easy to get the hang of it but you need lots of practice to master it. But I do have some request, could you maybe add like a race mode where you can connect with other players to race them or possibly a mode where you use the killing mechanic to brawl another user. Could you also add a mode where you need to work together with another player to beat the level?
It's a cool game but 2 stars. Here's why. First off, it randomly jumps to other place when I swipe to a direction, and the challenges are too hard on beginners. Even for me, I get irritated on some levels and the slowmo mechanics are slow to respond when I release. The coins are hard to get being 3-5 every game. if I wanted just a scarf, I would have to play around 20 games. Or if I wanted the dragon soul, 500 games. Like it's so hard to get coins. And missions are also hard. Dissapointed
i love it, im absoloutly adicted to it. i just think id want a few changes in some gameplay, like instead of when you have the immortality and get hit,it just going away after, i want it to have a cool down for at least 10 seconds. other than a few other issues like controls (which is sometimes when i want it to go in a direction and it goes a bit above or below where i wanted it to go) i think its a great game. i love it and wish there where more games like this out here.
Each time I do the exact same thing, it varies. The physics, hit box, and basic controls are never consistent. That, and it doesn't seem to read anything properly. I swipe to the left and sometimes it'll fling me straight up, and when I aim up and slightly away from the wall it'll sometimes act as though I'm aiming perfectly up or towards the wall and make me inch up rather than jump up and slightly away. Which is the exact opposite of how my character will bounce off of walls, even if hitting them head on. This game needs to fix its physics and controls
If you were reading through the bad reviews and saw how they said that all their progress was lost randomly; you need to backup your data. If you go to settings, there are two buttons with clouds, one cloud says "Backup my data" and the other says "Restore my data". I would suggest each week or month because if you uninstall the app, and install it again, then press the "Restore my data" it could restore the 2nd to last Backup or the 3rd to last Backup. It is a good game. It truly is.
The graphics and animations are clean along with the overall aesthetic. My complaint, however, is that the character struggles with movement along a wall, floor, or ceiling. May it be horizontal movement or vertical. Whenever I land next to an enemy on a platform, if I try to approach him by aiming horizontally, the character constantly gets stuck to the ground which wastes my time. Please fix this.
Awesome game - the controls and overall difficulty are challenging at the beginning, but it's really worth getting into.. Also, the game is totally free and there are no ads until you want to watch some to get coins to buy better ninjas (but you don't need to as the "standard" ninja is fine already.. it's definitely NOT Pay2Win !!). My main issue is that I already collected all the 18 achievements (took me 2 months).. I need new ones please 😁
On the whole, it was great. The controlls were good, there were no ads, the duifficuly level was spot on, and the graphics aren't dreadfull. He only problem that I had was that after a while, it wouldn't let me open the app. As soon as I tapped on it, it sent me home. Please fix this!
Easy for the first half of classic mode (except for game journalists) then gets to be impossible. Very good gameplay, but there are bad hiccups. Not only this but theres a terrible bug in which the second or third jump sometimes wont slow time down thus causing me to fly into a saw. Sometimes the touch doesnt register correctly as well.
Just finished up every wasteland and normal and challenge level, although this game is addicting it was pretty rage inducing because sometimes even though my guys arrow was pointing, he went the opposite direction and dies at the worst moment possible. Also what's up with the characters that are slow? Its pretty useless since it makes you much more heavier and doesn't let you get to the objective fast enough. I want to use my kim jong un character and the clown but i cant since they have the heavy trait which doesn't let them travel fast enough trough the levels and you just die. Clearly the guys that have the fast and the light feather trait are superior imo
The game is amusing. It acts as a good past time game. The only thing I'm not happy is the daily login reward. After a week or two, the rewards automatically gets reset to day 1, and then I don't even get the reward box. My plea to the developers is to remove that bug. Overall, the game's good. Not much difficult or problematic in any way
Completed nearly every challenge of the game. Haven't even scratched the surface of equipment because everything is stupidly expensive. Missions that help you earn more coins are periodically locked behind paywalls that can technically be bypassed by grinding, if you want to spend literal hours on one portion of one mission that is. The actual gameplay doesn't even come close to making up for anything. Collision is bad, and you get caught on nothing, or straight up just bounce off of things.
It's a fun game for a few weeks. It gets kinda boring. The levels are kind of frustrating and the enemies aren't that hard to beat, especially if you get a ninja with the ability to not get knockbacked. There are only 2 enemies ( I think because I haven't encountered any other )
Movement doesnt feel smooth, any progress made feels like sheer dumb luck if the physics engine, player hitbox is too big, challenge levels feel like bullet hell games. but overall the experience was pretty ok.
The game is really good but the spikes specially in challenge mode are a little bugged, they kill you even when there is good enough space between the ninja and them. So please fix that, thanks for making such an amazing game!
Fun, needs a little work. Corners are unreasonably difficult to get around some times and randomly I'll find myself falling instead of hanging on after hitting a wall. Otherwise pretty good.
I like the game. It's fun, challenging, and it's got ninjas in it. That already wins me over. I don't mind that it's challenging and grindy, I can beat every level without any disciplines. Here's my problem. You, as a developer, recognize this as an annoyance and purposely paywall the solution to the issues you intentionally created. I get the game is free and you still need to earn something back from it, but there's a way to monetize a game without strong-arming your costumers into paying up.
So, I'm only giving this 4/5 stars for very small reasons, but here goes: The idea of the game in itself is really good, and the graphics are simple and charming. The economy is unbalanced: you only get about 7 coins in a good run, and it takes a lot to get what you want, resulting in a declining interest for the game as you progress. Finally, there are some hitboxes that need fixing; mainly corners and on some occasions your character bounces off surfaces you want to land on.
