Nitrado Server Manager

Sadly the only way to rent a server for Xbox is though Nitrado, who are easily the worst company in terms of customer service and ease of use. If your after a PC server, look elsewhere. I've currently been waiting for a week for a reply to a ticket request to only get a reply from a MODERATOR not Nitrado Staff.

Can't connect to your server files. Also having an issue of my players not being able to join my Nitrado server.

If I could rate peas than one star I would. Purchased a server, and from the very first minute, had nothing but issues. Never even got to get in to the game. Called tech support, got the run around, made a ticket, got the run around some more. At this point all I am asking them for is a refund. No services were rendered, so it shouldnt be that difficult.

The only thing good about this app for me is it's easier when trying to change XML files on my PS4 and the most frustrating thing is they need to allow you to search a specific item in the file you are currently in . Having to scroll every single thing in the game or own a PC and download some app to be able to help some not all just some is ridiculous. Taking 3+ hrs. to change what I want in the types file every time they update the game is boring/tiring

Rented a server that was on a permanent restart loop immediately after I rented it. Got them to fix it but there's no fixing the time, progress, and countless cars lost because of constant server lag. On top of that I changed games then the server became completely unusable. Still is to this day even though they won't let me unsubscribe anymore. You'd be better off buying a spare computer and using that for a server. It's cheaper in the long run.

I have read a lot of negative experiences down here but I tried it. I'm renting a little Empyrion server for me and my friends, and we had zero problems so far in the past week. Server stable, userpanel responds quickly, backing up works too. Maybe it depends on the game, but for me this one is a really good experience, I can recommend it.

Got logged out and the button to log back in doesn't work

I rent multiple servers that my friends and I cluster for ARK. The servers are easy to manage, and if you ever have an issue, calling their customer support helps. The guys there are great! I even had an issue one time with a server and the CEO contacted me (on his own) to ensure it was taken care of. These guys are a great group of people and their product is great. Also, if you have an issue paying through the xbox app, you just have to reinstall the app. Sometimes the updates get goofy.

Bad. Used notrado before and it was great. Now, when I go to log in it just links a useless Google search to a authorisation app which has an extremely long and unnecessary process which results in absolutely nothing. Wasted half an hour, at least, on this pointless exercise, when I cam just log straight in on the xbox and pc. Thanks for making the task of editing my server more difficult by prohibiting the use of the app on my phone...

Really like the functionality of the app for some quick, basic server management whilst away from a PC. Are there any plans to allow viewing of the server log files via the app rather than just the restart log?? as I feel this is the one thing that the app is missing and would be useful for any urgent server admin if a PC is not readily available.

I've honestly had a great time using this app I don't need to shut down ark and run over to my computer to adjust a server setting sligjtly when I have the ability to change it on this app. This app has made owning and coding my own servers so much easier than the traditional method of going back and forth from testing out the functions on my server and adjusting them to perfection.

The app just forwards to a browser, a Google result for the nitrado website. After signing in via browser, it doesn't prompt going back to the app. If I switch back to the app, it still hasn't logged in, but simply has the same button that forwards yet again to browser Google result for nitrado. You literally have an app that's sole purpose is a button to quick-search Google for your website. This is so stupid.

Three stars because it works, although it's not very well explained. I tried to host a ark server under the impression it would be cross platform seeing as they said it was cross ark compatible and didn't seem to have a host Xbox 1 server option, what they didn't tell me was that to enable cross platform I had to download an Xbox 1 app and purchase it from there, not this mobile app. Do your research before purchasing anything on here, they are quick to sell but slow to help!

I thought I was having a terrible experience but turns out I was just trying to change my Ark server from being put as a pc as a ps4 in the wrong area. I was using the upgrade method thinking that should work but I found where I can change it in the actual server settings haha. Its a great app for those that dislike using the computer and it works super fast!

Avoid this garbage service like the plague. My friend NorthernBigBud paid for the top package and we've had nothing but problems for days. Server keeps crashing, really bad lag. Character files getting messed up. We tried to roll the server back a little to save a corrupted character file and it nearly reset to the start and undid all our progress. Been a horrible experience. Typing this right now cause the server is down for like the 40th time in days.

I look at all the reviews and none of them relate to the app their downloading. The app itself gets four stars from me because it's slow to respond at times, can take forever to shutdown and restart servers and doesn't always show the name of servers! If you run servers accessed by others and are away from home, it is TRULY HELPFUL AND ALMOST A MUST! BUT!!! As for Nitrado, as a whole, their servers run really, really well!

getting really tired of playing musical servers with the app on my phone. literally every single time I go to check one server, then go back to select another server, the servers are in a different order on the list and it doesn't tell me which server it is until I select it and its usually the same exact one I just looked at.. It never fails.

Paid for a month of a ark server and never got to play it. Turned in 2 support tickets and the first one was just wanting to point fingers at who was to blame and the second was trying to help by returning the settings to default and restarting the server saying they fixed it and it's still not working and their troubleshooting forums didnt help either. Month of ark never played. Nitrado. Never. Again.

Monopoly on Xbox Ark server hosting. This place has been terrible you will often lose from 2-7 hours of progress because the system doesn't do backups properly and you can't make them yourself. You would have better luck using an Xbox or PC running out of your garage to host your server on. Avoid them if you can.

Very easy to use if you have admined servers you'll find your way around super easy. More settings would be good and a higher range of set values for each setting would be good. Otherwise. Price is good but could be cheaper considering the game and it's incompleteness. Loss of star as every single day I have to go onto nitrado app and start my server as it has Red status every morning. why it shuts down I have no idea. . .still kind of works for Ark mobile.

App is now useless.. it's a shortcut to your web browser. PC servers are no longer compatible with Xbox one. Customer service and the difficulty to contact them is horrid. 2 years ago, this was a wonderful app and company. What happened?

Server constantly saying its up, but I'm never able to find it on the server list when looking it up by the exact name. The few times I have found it, it wouldn't let me log in by saying the password was wrong, I MADE the password, I know what it is! Also the one time I actually got on, the admin password didn't work, I made it an easy one and it states its wrong and kicks me after the 2nd attempt. Bottom line NOTHING WORKS AND I PREPAID FOR 3 MONTHS, TECH SUPPORT DOESNT ANSWER SUPPORT TICKETS!!

Covid works faster than this site . Avoid at all cost

Just the worst customer service ever. I've had one server actually work and more than twice that wouldn't. Trying to get customer service to offer support is an absolute mess with them pretty actively doing everything they can not to help. Don't bother. Look elsewhere.

Absolutely love this app! Being able to manage my Ark Mobile Server with many options to make the server unique. The only issue I have run into is my server automatically shuts down without me knowing. Yes, just starting the server fixes the problem but the players on my server lose time to play. Thanks! :)

The app leaves very much to be desired. The user interface is horrible. Lol the only easy thing about it is spending your money through it to rent the server. All you can do is start, stop and restart the server. Which each time you have to restart the app to see the updated status.
