NIV 50th Anniversary Bible

This is a new NIV app I've downloaded. I like it very much. It has an adjustable size print set to your need. A daily verse with devotional and additional reading that's related, and so many other extra readings. No advertisements. I'm still trying to find my way back to the original source after I exited to the next source of reading. The difficulty I'm experiencing is to find the correct icon to click on at the bottom of the script to make that transition.

After trying several other Bible apps I found this to be a gift. It is very user friendly, stable and responsive when searching for passages. The format of selecting another book or chapter from the top of the page and link to an abbreviated table of contents is an immediately understandable and very quick process. The option of a black screen with white font makes the text very easy to see in low light situations which is basically anytime I used my old printed Bible which I could no longer see

The NIV app has very clear white lettering which allows me to see the verse clearly, and read verse easier. Also, the way the pages are organized, makes it easier to find books, verses and chapters. Plus, very difficult words can be heard through the audio option at the bottom of the application page where the verse is being displayed on my smart phone.

Stunning. This is perfect for newcomers like myself! I never expected to enjoy reading the Bible this much. The app is quite customisable, very beautiful, and easy and comfortable to use. I love the ability to add bookmarks and my own notes, and the info boxes in amongst the verses are very enlightening and helpful. The app makes it very easy to understand the messages.

I wanted an "e-bible" that was inherently easy to use, user friendly, and intuitive controls. This is perfect. The concordance is very helpful for referencing scripture and prophecy . I can highlight relevant and personal scripture to myself, just like my physical bible. I can read this in total darkness, due to my screen light. I am reading more of His word, because I can take it with me anywhere I have my phone.

App seems to work ok. But one thing that is super annoying is the verse of the day shows up and even though there is room for all the text of that verse in the notification, the last word is omitted creating the need to open the app all the way(and several clicks to close it again) just to see that only the last word was missing from the whole verse being displayed in the notification. Please fix this. I don't want to be "coaxed" into opening any app.

I predominantly use another Bible app, which has an NIV translation in it. I wasn't sure what value this app would add to my bible reading, but I've found it to be a beautiful addition. It feels like you're reading a physical, printed copy. There's something warming about it that I appreciate. Plus, we all have our favourite translations for different reasons/occasions, but the NIV is so easy to read and digest. I'd recommend this app.

The NIV translation is good for anyone who wants to understand the bible. It has features that enable one to appreciate the background stories. One's ability to bridge the gap between the bible world 'there and then ' and 'here and now' is key to interpreting scripture. I recommend it to students and every Christian.

Great Bible with awesome search feature! my favorite app was NIV Plus with maps, concordance, compare translations, etc...so all other Bibles are second. This one is better than the rest though--very user friendly with lots of features. I like the audio addition. Occasionally some words are missing...I think it's a minor glitch.

I really like this NIV app. I take it with me everywhere and it is so easy to navigate. It has all the features that I need to bookmark, find the definition of words, and learn more indepth of particular passages. No adds yay!

Intuitive interface, ease of use, like that it provides access to the Bible when offline. Have recently changed phone. A pleasant surprise to see that simply by signing in to my account on the new phone, my previous bookmarks and highlights are retained!

Along with my KJV app, I've enjoyed the NIV and the study with them together. This app gives a quick cross reference for at least 2 scriptures which is good. It also gives a definition in English language and that's ok because it's just as easy as to apply the KJV letters while researching whatever words that's pulled up in define to retrieve KJV definition. I've yet to understand why certain words are sporadically underlined along with other details all though I've just recently downloaded.

Very intuitive and easy to use and I love the read back function. As a dyslexic I can find it hard to read and process what I have read so being able to play it back was a great feature.

This is really a wonderful Bible,a decent translation, and so easy to use in reading and study. I lead a group at the koment and it's great to be able to do a word search and find passages in a few seconds.mi highly recommend this app... i think it was well worth the few dollars I paid for the ability to download and work offline!!

I LOVE this Bible App! It has daily scriptures and devotionals which help me to spend time in God's word. I also love the highlighting feature, it is simple to use and also allows you to highlight specific words or lines without automatically highlighting the whole verse like the other Bible apps I used before I found this one. This is the absolute best Bible app in my opinion!

I love this Bible. He's very detailed, and I love the little devotionals that break down certain scriptures. Overall it's just a super great Bible app! The only negative about it, I wish that it had more colors to highlight certain scriptures with. Again other than that, it's a very good Bible app!

One of tge best apps I know. The older versions are better because they don't charge you for books or for downloads and like scripture says many people peddle the word of God for profit and some do it to break even. However this is a very good app with very good notes taking ability I recommend it for every person that's trying to learn and build Christianity.

Brilliant edition of the Bible, the option to select audio accent is good, the transaction of the synergy and array of wording is excellent I rated this version with four stars minus one simply because I don't appreciate the human highlights that were designed to encourage useful...find them distractive and somehow ignoring I believe that they were written in good faith but we must remember that our personal relationships, one man's revelation may not be another's. Scriptures are power already

Started with it on my faith journey long back with it in 2001. The revised version is good and futuristic. The language has been revised to increase readability and comprehension for the new generation. Personally, I still love the 1984 verson as I was pretty much raised on it. However, I recommend it to anyone who wants who is looking for a quality translation, and who wants to know God, his Christ and the gift of salvation.

I love the daily devotions and I love being able to highlight verses or even underline if I want. I also love how easy it is to find different books, chapters, verses, and I love the commentary and the ability to take notes. Let's just say I love this app. There are many other Bible apps out there but this one suits me best. May God bless you all.

Love this app.! Easy to use and easy to read, especially when looking up several scriptures. It easily takes you where you want to go and clearly highlights the passages you want.

The App works very well in presenting scripture on phone making it easy to access the Word any time anywhere. However, some times, despite having internet, the app fails to open. Also make it easy to eccess the study cross references indicated, say, by clicking on the links!

Easy to read. Love the devotionals and verse of the day. Most of all the cross references. And if there's something very important they put it in a box on the box and it breaks it down for you in a beautiful way. really love this Bible app.

I love the Word of God. I like all features, but I think that everything in the app should be free as well as all the devotions they are a great help as well as encouraging. People may not be able to afford the cost. Everyone needs encouraging words from God. Also I think that you should be to highlight just a certain area of scripture or the whole scripture of the readers choice. Also needs to add supporting scriptures that tie into other scriptures. The app gives me notifications to read a daily bible verse and a daily devotional. I've been using the app for over a year and have managed to read at least 1 verse and a devotional per day the entire time. This app allows me to stay connected with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

I love this NIV Study Bible app. I have always enjoyed reading the NIV translation as it is in plain english. With the app itself is very easy to under line and or high light versus. You can add book marks to places that you want to go back to. You can look up information on specific versus and historical facts about the Biblical world and its writers.
