The program works fine, but the text has too many typos. I find this very distracting and it makes me not trust the accuracy of this translation. I'd bet many people found these typos and just nixed the app. The development team should actually read it before publishing it. Sorry for the less than stellar feed back. But I hope you fix it.
Your Bible is great very legible with additional orange reading light. I love the audio part of it. It would have been much better if the audio wasn't too fast. The highlighting tools are missing. So one cannot easily personalise this bible on their mobile devices. That's how your app has fallen short.....
Thanks for your effort to spread the Gospel through your app. But there is one thing that is quite giving some doubt in the accuracy of the interior wording of the Bible because there's some errors that one cannot ignore as reading the Bible. Here's one of them which I found, though I found more than one in different chapters of the Bible: Ge 6:15 (NIV) This is how you are to build it: The ark is to be three hundred cubits long, fifty cubits wide and thirty cubits high.d Note (d) error ending
Love using this app. It's got a search function, cross referencing, really clear navigation, and extensive appearance options. Bookmarks and copy text to clipboard. It even reads to (in clear but slightly mechanical voice). I haven't looked through all the functions yet.
The app overall is a good app with the night view function easy for the eyes. I must mention the bugs in this though, 1. Random alphabet letters come up out of nowhere within the text. 2. The number of years that each person has aged before they die is completely left out. e.g. Genesis 9 Verse 29: Noah lived a total of years, and then he died. 3. The feedback button in the app takes you to the share this with someone function. I hope you can find the time to fix these bugs
Nice font. Easy to read and understand. I had earlier downloaded the NKJV, and although I appreciate the accuracy of the NKJV, it was a strain use. So now both versions are on this phone. Reviewer spoke about 'word for word' translation, which is KJV vs. 'thought for thought' which is NIV. But since I'm not doing an in depth study, this NIV will be my default version.
Niv bible is absolutely the best to work with, it has a simpler method to make u understand and get to ur findings, any one who can read do not need much explanation to understand, is easy and encouraging to study with, most of all I love the copy method. God bless every effort of those that spread the gospel.
A little confusing to use at first but you get the hang of it. Some spelling errors, though. Not sure if spelling error or reference letters at the end of some words but the letter is not superscripted so I presume text was not fully spell checked
Wonderful app. Love the way the narrator narrates the scripture using the right intonation for each utterance whether it be a question, answer etc. The background sound is also great; it spices up the listening. Ah, check this now: unlike some bibles I found before, you don't have to spend your airtime and time downloading every single chapter
The style and size of the illumimated non-black letters make the Bible easirer to read. This is a great feature because I have had serious myopia since I was a baby. And reading can be a challenge. The daily verses are an inspiration. I like the ability to carry the Holy Bible where ever i go.
Unfortunately, the app is riddled with typographical errors. There is no guide on how to use the functions of the app. The search function appears to not work at all. Finally, every time I tried to go to the next chapter of the Book I was reading, the app locked up the phone until it shut itself down.
A terrible app with a false face. I downloaded and tested it and it gave a rich audio reading with background music. A few minutes later I played another chapter only to hear a crappy computer voice. No settings to select voice. A big disappointment!
Greetings, one experience/problem is that, if the audio is reading, and you want to stop it, the stop key and its associates are not functioning. So, check that. Thanks.
I'm noticing people are giving this five stars but then complaining about something. Don't give it five stars. Otherwise the developer is not going to know what to correct. I am looking for a Bible where I can read the words and hear the audio and the audio will go along with the words highlighting them as I go. I would like to be able to back up the audio by just placing my finger in the area that I want to repeat . I'd like for it to remember where I was last time I left off.
great audio however 2 things one if you stop in the middle of a book you have to restart book at the beginning before last update you could pause then pick up where you stopped in the middle of a book and two I'm unlimited now but this app is and was a data hog when I wasn't
Really good, but I would like it if the writer went through and corrected some of the grammar errors, random f's and b's are in so it does make it hard to read sometimes.
I hate reading and listening to the Audio makes it way easier for me to know the word of God. The voice recorded does not sound like a robot and inspirational. I reccomend it for everyone, especially those who do not like reading or does not have a longer concentration span when they read. 😊😊😊👍👍👍👍
There is no highlight available and no scroll features. But God's word is always wonderful. There are quite a few misspelled words. The daily verse does not load quickly, i haven't been able to see it at all.
The app was really easy to use. Each book of the bibe could be found easily, as well as each chapter and every page has an audio option.
App works great - no problems. I like the way the pages are laid out - easy to find specific verses. Also easy to find books and chapters.
This app has too many errors. Not just a typo but there are phrases that was omitted especially in Old Testament. Example Exodus 38, there are figures not correct. This will cause misleading and misinterpretation.
Very good app, i like the audio version, the written version has a lot of typos, if that could be sorted out the app would be an excellent one.
When using it in audio you cannot pick where it starts reading When it gets to the end of the chapter it stops and you have to navigate to the next one and get it going again this is difficult if cycling or driving
Its very easier, understanding, clear and straightforward, it's has alot of things, atleast I can save some of my favorite verse, I enjoy reading it, am so happy to have the app on my phone, I rate it the best bible app.
The app is just fine and I like the fact that it has an audio. The challenge is the random alphabet letters in between the text that obstruct when reading, but also, the audio is too fast.
I'm enjoying this app, however it's really irritating that the audio doesn't automatically go to the next page and I have got to go to the next page and press play again. Could you please add the option to continually play on to the next page in your next update?
Bad user experience!! I like fact tht it can read 4 you! However,This app is not user friendly!!!! Its navigation is really bad! Many errors developers please take time to edit this! Many spelling errors! Lastly please make the accent neutral !!!
Ok....but! The layout would be better if the 'usual subject sections' were marked. The text can be difficult to follow, particularly if read aloud, by the use of reference letters of the same size, typeface and weight as the main body of the text. You are heavily, and annoyingly, promoting the new version of the app. However, the new version is commercially sponsored and the adverts, in my opinion, make the use of it impossible.
