NIV Live: A Bible Experience

The search feature needs tweaking. When specific chapter needed, must constantly tap top Banner back and forth from last page read, to get back to main table of content before being able to search chapter and verse needed. This function does not always work. There needs to be a a specific chapter search from last position that does not send you back and forth to the last chapter that you were reading, when you tap the top Banner. App appears to be on a misconnected loop.

Updated: I have received contact from the developer and we are working through my issue. I look forward to using the app again. Response was professional, detailed and timely. I LOVED this app. Until a recent update. Now, my app won't unzip additional chapters. I tried to log in online, but it is not recognizing the login information I used when I created the account 3 years ago. The "Contact Us" link on the website never worked. Still doesn't. I found the email address, and am waiting for a reply. Very disappointed. This is a Wonderful product (the Bible reading part). They just seem to need help with the technical IT part of creating/running an app. If the app worked right, and you could contact customer service through the website, and they responded with a fix, I'd give it 5 stars. I purchased the full version.

I'm revising my review to advise users to not pay the app in the hope of getting the audio Bible. Their customer service is pathetic too. As I said, the extremely low rating is solely because despite the purchase and filing a complaint via the in-app feedback section, I am still unable to download the audio. It is the audio that sets this app apart from others and I am unable to use. It is the error in app though their team tries to pin it on users' devices. Pathetic!

Marcel is working with me to resolve my issues. . . The audio won't download and it won't let me successfully restore my purchase 😒 I love this app but it's no good when I can't access its features 😫

This app was phenomenal and my favourite Bible app. But suddenly since last week, it refused to download or play anything. I can't make playlists anymore. Fixing this would be MUCH appreciated, thank you!

It won't let me download on my Original. I have downloaded The update . Not what I paid for . Not as good as the original. Tried To get help. Still won't download. All my other Bible apps work. I have Tried contacted Them. No help

I love this app, but the app stops constantly and sometimes the verses are off from what is spoken. Please fix. The complete Bible was downloaded before making this review.

Audio is not working I paid over $120 got all CD's and Audio was working but few months ago is no longer works no one can help me to solve this problem Help!

8 years ago I paid $19.99 for this app promise of it being returned 4 years ago of which I have not received after developer threw a monkey wrench in this app forcing people to use a different cheesier version. Many others have complained of the monkey wrench in this app and their testimonies are posted. You cannot trust Bible app Developers selling the word of God.. Jesus would give it to us freely. This app not working still (all phone permissions💯%) refund as promised has not been returned.

Cannot get chapters to download. I Uninstalled and reinstalled and is not working!

Since my last review was in edit mode and not posted since 1/3/20 then I will say this to you developer, Pathetic! Pathetic! Pathetic! You act like a Republican you have not returned my $19.99 for this none working app that does not download my purchased audio nor does the "Restore Purchases" even work in your pathetic pathetic app and the fact that you will not return my $19.99 proves you are in this for the money and not for the Goodwill of others. This review might be posted on Facebook.

I purchased the android all access version several years ago, to share across devices with my family. It was fantastic. So disappointed my audio was disabled across all devices, and it won't restore my purchases. When I try to play the audio it says I haven't purchased it. Sure hope they fix this problem.

Such an excellent way to "read" the Bible. A few bugs such as the audio not lining up with the script, the reading voices are not level with each other (some readers softer than others so it's hard to hear them especially when the background is so loud) and the first chapter of Hebrews is completely unread! You just get music. But otherwise I love the app and recommend it to everyone. Good job guys!

In 2015, i was able to change background color and appreciate the other stuff that used to work. I hope some features should not have changed. Update: 4-2-2020 won't download my paid account access

Overally decent app but the speed in which the highlighted verse follows the voice does not match at all. ALSO is missing ANDROID AUTO support for safe use in the car.

Great app in the way it was recorded..... I paid $50 for the download of the whole thing several years ago. Developer, sadly, does not fix glitches brought to their attention YEARS ago. NOW the Bookmarking feature is not working. Please FIX THIS..... Was this app not made "for the glory of God"??!?
