NIV Live: A Bible Experience

This app definitely needs some updates. You need to be able to go from one chapter to the next without having to download every chapter. It should be a seamless transition whether you're on your phone or not. Also, I noticed at the end of 1 Sam 3 & 4 (so far), it goes into a loud static sound before finishing the actual chapter. Please fix for higher ratings.

The new layout is Horrible. The buttons are miss labled. Every chapter the audio stops and you have try to get it to play the next chapter. You cannot save to SD anylonger. You no longer can download high quality audio. The verses aren't highlighted like it says. When I bought this way back it was on iOS and I paid a very pretty penny! to get it everywhere, now it seems the there is a total lack of care you can tell by all the same reviews and still not fixing them the entire app is unfriendly.

Can't get the new version to work. I had purchased the app years ago but it stopped downloading - due to network error. I tried downloading again and the new app doesn't recognize that I already purchased everything. The computer version also doesn't work either, but at least I had downloaded the audio files. I'm so disappointed because I love the app. I hope you can get everything operating again soon. With help from the developers it is now working so I updated my review. Thanks.

App has been considerably downgraded. An absolute must have in order to make this app somewhat decent is for it to have it play continuously while screen is off. Also need to be able to tap the verse where you want to start and not be stuck with basic toggle menu. If developers would implement features that came standard in previous app [highlights, complete OT and NT downloads etc.] they would get 5 stars. Until then buyer be prepared for disappointment and aggravation.

In my opinion, This is by far the best audio Bible on the market and had been since its original release many years ago. Definitely worth the purchase! The only reason I did not rate 5 stars is that audio playback does not consistently move from one chapter to the next, so .ore often than not you have to manually switch chapters and press play again. Devs fix that small, but pretty annoying issue and this is definitely a 5 star app. Thanks for providing the Bible Experience on this platform!

This was my favorite app for many years but recently but recently I've noticed it is failing. The downloads don't seem to 'stay' and I've grown weary of redownloading every book overead book over and over. I've used this app for 8 years now and nothing comes close to its quality when it works well, but...

They either updated or changed this app. I bought a new phone and went to download this again. There is no sleep timer on this app, and it stops after each chapter which is annoying. I don't this one. I was listening to this when I went to bed and set the sleep timer for an hour. Not worth the price now. Very upset!

Full of glitches worse then the original. On this particular one it glitches and sticks, you cannot choose to start at a verse in a chapter.. you try to go back where you left off and you're forced to start from beginning of chapter to get back to where you left off from.. (Update September 2nd 2021), too bad there's too much fear to post this honest review leaving it in edit mode.

I'm so frustrated with this app now. I miss the old version so much. 1sam is all glitched to where I get a terrifying loud white noise randomly. The book of judges chapter 11 the navigating bar on the left is too fast to where it cuts you off early before it ends the chapter and starts 12. I just want to yell at you guys because your not listening. Go back to the original.

Good app with lots of useful features and a very easy way to get the word. However it has 2 glaring major flaws. There is no logical way to close out the app when done or not in use. The only real way is to open the recent app launcher and manually close out the app that way. It is really ridiculous that there isn't a close out function within the app. And 2nd, in 2020 there's still no Android auto app which is sorely missing?!! I would give 4 Stars if they have Android auto app.

Contacted developers via email but received no reply. I have the paid version but can't get the app to work properly since the last update. It is a shame because this was great before, seems like an abounded project as none of the reviews have nay replies. Will change back to 5 stars if they can help me or even just give me an option to download the digital files to play in my own mp3 player.

I miss the original version before this update. I can't play in between chapters, I have to restart the player every time the chapter ends. There was alot of zeal at the start of this great project but now seems like an abandoned project. I still love this app, its very unique just needs attention to sort out major glitches such as playing in between chapters. Please do something, I still maintain my Ratings of this app to 5 stars.

I have enjoyed and appreciated this app for many years. Each year I could easily reset it; clear chapters read and un-highlight verses. I can't figure it out now. So disappointed.

I miss the old version. In this new version a lot of features are missing. There's no way to make playlists(i had created several) you can't start the audiobible from a particular verse(it starts at the beginning of the chapter. Please being back these features.

It doesn't continue from one chapter to the next and even though the developer said "it will if you download" as he does, it still does not continue to the next chapter after downloading for I went back to the beginning and played again the same portions that were downloaded and still it keeps stopping on each chapter. Tell us Developer, why you refuse to fix the original app after taking our money? You will be judged ꧁✞꧂ I wish no reply from you but explanation to all.

It wont play the audio through to the next chapter. I have to keep clicking play when it reaches the end of a chapter. I've had this app for a long time and just had to update to this new version. So far I don't like it since then audio wont play continuously .

I purchased this app years ago and until recently it was a great app, but now a company out of Brazil has taken it over and its the worst with no help function, misspelled words, and no email support. In my case the audoo for the app has to be downloaded every time you use it. This app is horrible!!!

Surprised to hear updated version. Did someone else buy this app? Is this why the layout out has changed? is this why we can no longer have the old version with the old features that we love, such as the sleep timer? It has been watered-down. The actors have been that we were used to hearing and enjoyed and loved hearing. Although these actors voices are okay, the others were more mature and comforting. Is old version restorable? Even on website to purchase features old version descriptions

I paid 19.99 for the App back in 2015. Is this a new app or something? Restored Purchases does not work. I am not sure of the thought process that goes through redesigning a product that a customer has already paid for. The deliverable of original product was great. Offered many things this doesn’t. Those like myself should be refunded because what exists today is not what was purchased.

Dear family in Christ, With all my respect and thankfulness for your willingness to spread His word. Why did you change something so good (talking about the apoerenace of the app)for something like this. I can't recover my app as it was. I bought it long time ago and I LOVED it. I had to install it again and I found this new presentation, the old one presented all the books of the Bible with colors in such a beautiful way... It had more quality... I just would like to have it as it was before. :(

I'm alot happier with this app I thought when I first bought it I had wasted my money. I find it works alot better now since it has been updated. It does not stopcanymore befo the end of the chapter. But what is does do well is when I touch the screen before it goes black on me it doesn't repeat where I touch. Thanks for fixing this. Happy happy God bless all who work on this and keeping God's word at our fingertips . I would like to add that the red lettering is fascinating. So glad to see that.

This app used to be an amazing 5 star app. Now they have ruined it. I'm glad the old version still remains on my tablet. All the good features are completely removed from the phone version. And the phone search does not operate the same. Among other old features. Sigh.

I love this app, but recently there are too many bugs: 1. Doesn't play continuous chapter after chapter (most important) 2. Many customisations are lost 3. Night mode is disaster 4. Should give flexibility for managing offline audio 5. etc

I want to give negative stars! I'm so tired of redownloading and redownloading and redownloading every freaking few days because the books just WON'T STAY DOWNLOADED!!! Never had a problem with the original. This is not what I paid for. I wouldn't have spent a dime on this the way it is now. I wish to God I could get my money back and give it to someone/group who really cares!
