NIV1984

This is a clean, simple and excellent menu system to quickly access books, chapters and verses. I wish more bibles and bible apps had all their verses numbered on the left side of the page like this, or at least offered that option in their settings. This puts an end to randomly scanning lines, wasting time trying to locate a specific verse. Also this type of spacing and formatting makes it much easier to focus on each verses specific content and context. This is now my favorite Bible app and preferred way to read the 1984 NIV, It almost makes me think about unloading some of the paper versions of the 1984 NIV, I've collected off eBay over the years. Well done, please don't change any of that.

Easy to use, and I am so grateful for this app because typically the only NIV publishers make available is the updated version with policticized & incorrect changes in gender. My only negatives: verses are on their own instead of in paragraphs, so it is a bit clunk if you are older or have a visual impairment and need a larger font size. Also, there is no search function, which is difficult. Often, I have to search on a different app and then switch over to read here. But overall, excellent!

I love that this is the NIV 84. Finding it anywhere is very hard indeed. I love too that I can read multiple parts of the Bible and still find them whenever I open to the book I was reading. My reading plan involves reading multiple books each day, so to be able to pick up from where I left off in each book after jumping to another book is a real joy. It would be nice, I think, if the app had a dark mode too, since it is easier on the eyes especially in the darker hours.

It is great to have access to the 1984NIV, the bible I used and memorized for over thirty years. I wish there was a way to open a book to a specific chapter instead of fast scrolling to get to it. Still, a v alued app.

Very easy reading, easy to understand and get the true meaning of the word of God. Reading was never my strong point but I go to YouTube ect to get background to most of what I'm reading, it makes it so much more easier than reading text and if your jumping from one book to another then you will understand how each book is tied to the next, it's great to get an overview of if your a new Christian

This app beats others I've tried for workability without distracting ads. However, the footnote numbers often don't correspond to the page, the inclusion of subchapter headings are lacking, and there's no red letter option for Jesus' words. I appreciate the app though and thank the developer for this asset to the Christian community. May God bless you for your effort.

It's a simplistic app but very useful and easy to read. Only problem is when you're dragging the scroll bar up or down from one book to other books, the scroll bar will reset back to your current book again and again.

I so appreciate the easy reading style of this version. It upholds a wider held translation in spots where the 2011 version becomes too adventurous. I would love to see an ability to highlight and make notes.

I really appreciate a 1984 NIV Bible, and without ads. I'd be happy to pay if it had better navigation, search, highlighting, and notes. Until these improvements are available, I'll go back to my Crossway ESV Bible app.

This is the right version of the NIV!This version is no longer available in shops or elsewhere. Other versions of NIV are misleading. Please use this version. Use app for only for quick or urgent references. For daily reading and studying please use a proper paper bible. It will help you remember what you have read and mainly where exactly you read it. Many times when the Holy Spirit reminds you of a verse you'll immediately know where to go look for it in your personal bible. God bless you all.

Very easy to use. Only things missing are word search, and bookmarks. If it had those two additions it would be complete. Thanks for making the 1984 NIV available. NIV1984 has not been compromised by pleasing a particular world view like NIV 2011. The whole NIV timed license was a carefully planned trap to slowly incorporate non-original source material viewpoints, and slowly move the Church. To get us to accept their timed license they started NIV 1984 pure. It is not available in print anymore

last really reliable translation from NIV stable with good authorised version options. Wish missing verses could included like "Gideons" edition - best ever NIV translation. Put it on all Androids. Can share via "bluetooth" would recommend to anyone.

I started using niv 1990 since then this version of the Bible has been very helpful to me. Now im using this soft bound with kjv on the side to compare it was very helpful.

Clear and easy to navigate. I would like it to open to the last text I was reading instead of to the table of contents. God bless!

Very glad for a digital NIV '84, but not having a search feature limits it to no more than selecting a book and chapter and reading.

Very much appreciate having 1984 NIV! Would love a dark mode for reading in bed when my wife is asleep. When scrolling down the book/chapter lists, sometimes the list resets to the top and makes me scroll down again

Extremely user friendly. No issues with the function or operation of this app. Would recommend whole-heartedly. I have been a user for 10 years.

I am so thankful for this app. It is the only app that I'm aware of with the 1984 NIV version. For years, since it first came out, is has been my favorite version and still is. It's frustrating not to have it available in print or online.

Great to have a faithful version of the NIV! The app is simple and easy to navigate. The only change I'd want to see is a dark theme.

i like the simple text , but should have seting to chnge text preference not pre dertermined size. and settings to dark mode

If you like NIV...this 1984 is THE ONLY year to use. I love this because I can compare it with KJV and ON THE SAME PAGE which is difficult to find. Thank you for this handy app.
