Update: the app continues to be easy to use and overall experince is very good. The experience of getting the card and initial set up was fantastic. Marketed as an easy to use no frills card. Enjoyed using it on my trips abroad as well. The catch comes a year later - in the form an annual charge that was never there as part of the initial agreement. Says a lot about company ethic when they suddenly want to charge fees on a card that is useless because no one is travelling.

Niyo Card has been my go-to option for all international trips. The exchange rates are encouraging and transparent. The application has been beautifully designed with a great looking UI and is pretty easy to use. The best part, irrespective, is still the customer support. I have contacted them on multiple occasions for query resolution and the overall experience has been immensely satisfying to say the least. Good job Niyo Team. Way to go !

Very disappointed. No one picks up on Customer care. WhatsApp support is also very slow and not able to provide any solutions. I cannot even transfer the money on the card on my account again. I have been contacting them since the last four days then also no one picks up...they seem to be busier than us. No amount limit when money is added but for transactions there are many unnecessary limits. If it had been possible I would not have given even one star to them. Going to close this DCB account.

The niyo visa card and the app was really helpful for me as an international student in Canada. I payed my visa fees through the app, there is no extra exchange charge! Now, even the international transfer is made possible. As it is a travel card , it helped me for transactions in airports and payments over here, its accepted everywhere. The app notifies us with the statements, balances, transactions all the time, hence its very convienient and i recommend this for every one who wish to travel.

I love the interface. Clean, simple, and easy to find what I'm looking for. Quick locking online transactions and atm transactions feature is amazingly helpful. One very big disappointment was the annual charge which I was not told while signing up. I've used other such Cards as well and they had quarterly charges. The yearly chare on Niyo card was much greater than those cards (4 quarters combined).

One of the best Apps. In this genre. It works globally. You could spend in the local currency without losing out on commissions which is what happens when you use travel cards. Especially in Europe, even if you load in Euros, you end up losing on conversion when you visit countries like Prague, Budapest etc., Value for Money.

This is it. The best there is to offer. No dealing with forms to be sent, agents to be called. Waiting for payments to reflect. And the rates are almost what's on Google. So all in all its really good. The App is Spot on no bugs as yet. The interface is crisp and no lag. If you're travelling and need Forex this is what you need to get. Trust me you'll thank me later!

On the application they design in perfect with all the security feature like lock/unlock features( which is quite useful). I am using this card in canada it works fine here.

Unable to login despite resetting password multiple times. Keep getting a prompt 'invalid password'. Update: resolved over call. They re-activated my account that they had suspended in error. But the app is really not upto the mark. Lots of issues with login flow and infinite spinner is a common thing with this app.

My experience with Niyo card has been wonderful. I used it for my Europe trip & was able to use it at multiple places (both online & offline) without hassle. Even the app is very friendly. I added this account as a beneficiary to transfer funds from my main account. Then I used to transfer amount into this card as per my requirements. Never faced any issue. Customer support is also very cool & responsive, not like other banks. Based on my experience, I highly recommend this card.

Great financial app, very easy to use, no transaction fees including international transactions, no forex exchange with real visa exchange rates. Very convenient OTP system at email and phone. Convenient domestic as well as international free ATM withdrawals. For security, card and it's features can be frozen within the app. Bonus is that the debit card comes with one extra set of card which can be activated in emergency 👍

Great for students, zero transfer fees is there, quick send/receive. I just wish international transfers were allowed through bank transfer facility. Also, Niyo has kept some merchants blacklisted so the card payments get failed which is a disappointment. If these merchants are problematic due to auto debit complaints, bank transfer facility is the safest, most secure solution! Update: Updating my review from 3 stars to 4 as you started foreign payments, but not for all countries (Germany?). :(

Easy to use card and app. Helpful and approachable team! What I particularly like about this is the option of temporarily blocking a card instead of having to disable it completely! Brilliant feature of protection in case the card gets misplaced where there is a possibility of recovering it.

Installed app.. and entered information. No response from one week. Nobody showed up. Now the problem is my transactions are done without the password or OTP. Cheers to your money if you buy this. I have been sending emails since a month but nobody response. They have poor security. Transactions are being done without OTP or password . Anybody can use this card if they found it..

The app seem to have a lot of features around your banking needs. However, there seem to be a few bugs still. One star cut for the bugs observed. For example, whenever I click some notification for additional information, it leads me to a blank page

I am a frequent traveller, and getting currencies for multiple countries was the biggest challenge. But on my recent visit to London and Ireland, where different currencies were required, I first used this Niyo Card. And by this single card, I was able to do transaction in all the countries. This card is very hassle free, with zero forex markup (best part), easy to load and unload and all the amazing security features. Overall, its an amazing experience. Will recommend everyone to use this card.

I wish there was an option to give 6 out of 5 star.. :) This wonderful the niyo app is! You can seamlessly transfer money from your bank to this card and can just use it like a regular debit card in any country of the world. It offers very competitive exchange rates and show you all the recent transaction. There customer support in what's app is very prompt and have always assisted me with all my queries. Kudos to the team with coming up such a unique and innovative product.

This card was exceptional. I had used it in multiple countries and the service was seamless. Got a better conversion rate compared to other service providers and had a better control of my accounts through the app. The representatives who helped me in getting this card were providing a great service. This product is a must go for the people who travel frequently and to different countries. Kudos Niyo !!!

The most user friendly banking sevice I used. App is the best thing where you can control everything. During my travel to indonesia, it was quite easy to change PIN whenever used an ATM to withdraw to avoid skimming. Kudos to the team and their customer support. Just a "hi" away in their whatsapp chatbox. I would highly recommend others to use this on their overseas travel.

Highly Recommended - This app is amazing. I was a bit sceptical in the beginning but after using it for few international transactions, I can vouch for the service. Previously I had to pay almost 4% conversion fee on international transactions through Credit Card. NiYO literally charges exchange rate without any markup. A must for international travelers.

I used the Niyo card for my travel to Germany for my exchange programme for 6 months. It was really helpful as I could easily transfer funds from my personal account. And the app is very user friendly too. The best part about this card is after coming back to India also you can use for your personal expenditure. Great product and highly recommendable !!

It has been a real great experience. You dont need to carry forex cash along with you on a foreign tour. I had withdrawn cash at different ATM's and no charges where applied. Also the exchange rate was nearly same no Google rate, no additional cost. I would recommend everyone who travels around the world.

Major bugs in Password reset and atm reset. I suppose atm password update never happens and so does the password reset?! To add to this, if external bank verification is pending you lock up the account and nothing in your app signifies that. You have to call customer care. If by any chance you Uninstall the app, it asks you for phone number, in my case phone number was not attached to account, it kept asking me to sign up again. A unique product with a totally unsupportive app.

its really really awesome card and i am using it. hassle free card & no markup charges, i am really enjoying it. i would recommend this card for everyone who is traveling abroad in addition to this the beauty is whatever country u r, this app gives u multi currency balances and also each spending we can add a note for what it has been used and attach a copy of receipt or invoice attach to each transaction. keep up the good work and keep adding new features.
