This app. Is horrible since the update. Slow and unresponsive. You can't even read half the articles without getting cut off. The obits only show 4 people. When you click the drop down arrow to show the obits for all week. You can't even find what you are looking for because the give you the whole life story of everyone listed on the obits. It's just horrible. Why did you ruin a good thing

Since the update it's formatting off the screen you can't read replies it's acting just like the website. Now as far as the app goes the fonts are too small needs an option for larger fonts. The comment section when it slides over it should fully slide over the entire article the comment section two small difficult to read. Would like to see a cut back on some of the ads or at least have an option to stop the animation there very distracting.

I am a subscriber (required to read many articles) but cannot access content through the app. The issue used to be that the app wouldn't stay logged in, but now when you try to log in, there is an error message. The only function the app serves is to send alerts with headlines of articles that it is impossible to access.

I paid for subscrition because alot of articles that were of interest could not be accessed. I then logged in. I have to log in everyday even though I've selected the remain logged in option several times. Also just tried to search for an article from this past summer, and nothing came up. I understand the need for subscriptions but i don't understand bad service. I won't make the same mistake twice.👎

update: for the past week, the app won't revert the stickers properly at all. as in completely unreadable. what's going on guys? MAJORITY of stories are "slide shows" which simply don't display properly inside the app. Is bet about 2/3 of articles I read in the app don't render fully. What is purpose if can't read the articles? no change since last update

This app is ok but has same issues people have complained about for months and they have not been resolved. Click on one story, yet another story is the one that opens. Then once you get to story you actually want, the pics and story either don't open, or take forever to load.

I can't read any of the articles!! Every time I open the app to any of the articles, there's a black background and the writing is ok overlapping with other written work. I try reinstalling the app twice with no luck.

Horrible experience. This app just doesn't work. Even after subscribing you get plastered with ads, subscriber articles are inaccessible, have to 'restore' my subscription every time. I want to support local journalism, but not like this.

awful app. It doesn't display the entire article so if I want to read the whole thing I have to go to the website. some articles when you click on them you get a completely different article. 50/50 whether a video will play

Crashes 1/10th of the time of use and NEVER properly loads stories based on lists eg. "NJ's top 10 most dangerous roads". I appreciate the news stories but the app is in major need of an update.

It's okay. Lots of little bugs and problems. For example, push notifications link you to subscriber exclusive articles that you can't access even if you are a subscriber. Needs work.

App doesn't load correctly after I uninstall and install. Can't sign in, as it errors to a "can't find inbox" screen. Can't search at all, and the ada interrupt everything. Waste of money downloading and subscribing.

Born and raised in NJ, but living the last 40-50 years elsewhere, this is one of my favotite ways to keep up with what's going on there. Love it! But there there is the occasional problem though for articles that are lists, such as "here are the 30 lowest tax bills..." or whatever, but one can only read the first few (at least on my mobile ssmsung 8+). is there a fix?

latest update results in black background and garbled text. unreadable. too many stories are slideshows that do not load correctly and do not show all slides. pretty crappy interface.

New bug seems to have crept in: Article text is now all words jumbled on top of each other, in dark gray text on black background. Currently app is useless for reading articles.

I Certainly use it, and lots of the Local Info is useful.

Pictures, especially gallery pictures, do not display properly or at all in mobile app version (even most recently updated one!)! Very annoying and frustrating!

This app is so glitchy. If an article has multiple pictures in it you need to open it from the website. Prone to crashing too but, it does have the local news...

I'm constantly trying to read articles that wont fully open. articles titled "top 20" only show 20-18! articles are poorly written with tons of spelling and grammar mistakes. overall downloading this app is a waste of time.

The content is great but the app itself is terrible. The full articles don't load and there are countless display issues. App needs a lot of work.

Login to comment fails. When I try to log in via Google, it always has a failure. Also, when viewing main article list on my small (?) phone, reflex display mode presents the list horribly crumpled.

It's awesome!! Up to date on everything. Keeps me up to date on all news and weather and sports. Great app to have on the go and you can follow anywhere around the country.

app hasn't been working correctly. text is in all black boxes and text is on top of text. last update made app worse I instead of better!

Want you to be a subscriber now guess they are changing format for more revenue. Some stories are free but some you have to subscribe. Any stories that involve public health safety should be open to everyone. Locked out of story about quarantine requirements shame on you. Guess I have to find another source for my news.

The app is very buggy and frequently closes. Sometimes articles just don't load. That's the reason for two stars.

I'm never going to be a paid subscriber until your writers use spell check. Every single story you send me as a pop up on my phone that is an update on relevant NJ covid data is now only for paid subscribers. Every time I get that, I close the app. I'm about done with you.

You blew it with latest update. As lots have stated, articles are UNREADABLE, sort of a problem for a newspaper. Fix it or out the old version back out.

The app is unreliable. When opening stories the app either crashes or never loads a complete article. Very disappointed

The app is great for local up to date news, BUT the APP is constantly crashing or news stories end up mish mashed together. App needs a MAJOR overhaul.
