This FREE all-inclusive outdoor guide was created in a collaborative effort between the New Jersey State Parks, Forests, Historic Sites and ParksByNature Network®, and the next generation of the app is better than ever.
Powered by Pocket Ranger® technology, the app gives outdoor enthusiasts an environmentally friendly way to enjoy the parks. It contains everything you need to plan a trip to the state parks, navigate them once you get there, and share your experiences afterward.

the iPhone version of this app worked beautifully for me on my last phobe but the android version won't open. same with the fish & wildlife app. very disappointing
This app does not work at all. I just get a blank black page, with just the page title at the top in white
I like this app for the maps and references for rules or regulations. It would be great to see it become a little more enhanced or user friendly. It is a very straightforward app.
Every time I try to use it I have loading problems. It takes me 20 minutes to find simple info because it either wont load or I get several error messages before it decides to work. Seems Jersey cant get anything right including an app
When you tap on exploring ad pops up. Then aap get stuck on the ad and only thing you can do is exit out of the aap. So waste of time
An app to book a campsite and have the maps and graphs to show the when and where is very useful. Spending the extra bucks to a third party to book a site not so great
A little bit confusing to navigate, but you get all the parks in one place.
APP loads to a black screen and won't load anything else.
The only reason I downloaded the app was to be able to select a given NJ State Park and view the various blazed trails. This does not exist yet as the only maps are GPS via Google maps so some are there done aren't. Being developed in association with the Parks Committee, I hope every blazed trail in every state park with appropriately corresponding colors becomes available soon.
Won't load on an Android. Blank screen. Oh well, cool idea though.

Would be a 5 if you can save the Parks you wanna do.. and be able to mark.as completed.. also info on dog friendliness would be cool if it was on all.
Cant get past the stupid ad to the app app crashed for trying to close the ad many times
I know Alot of apps have ads but this is ridiculous! Along with pinpoints of state parks there are Chevy deal ship pinpoints. Too much. Uninstalling. There are other apps that do this better.

This app has failed me every time I have used it. It crashes when I am using the gps (when you need it most) and the coordinates for the parks are wrong. I just went to some guys house trying to find the sourlands and he seemed pretty angry like it happenes a lot. Take me to to the parking area(s) not the middle of the park where people might live. I've been aggravated and frustrated for the last time. uninstall! Great idea for an app, now we just need someone to make a better one that actually works
For the taxpayer money that must be used to fund the applications written by this company, I am very irritated that they have advertisements.
