At last, I am taking in The Word as I have always wished to. The plain reading version is great, the dramatised version is AMAZING, the music, voices, sound effects and volume control are awesome and not a word is omitted or added. Superb job! Now, if you could just add a feature to mark how far I've gone, that would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Dear Ones. Stay blessed!

I adore this app. I honestly only use it for sleep because the dramatization is so beautiful. I can put it on repeat and just sleep. A sleep timer would be a great improvement. I like that it's set up like an audio music player. Also a playlist or selecting a few books to be read in a specific sequence also would be great. Sometimes I just want to hear James 4 and maybe Romans 1. Not necessarily the whole book. Thank you for this wonderful addition to my walk with God.

This app is simple enough to use. I like the repeat mode. I'm not sure what benefit the shuffle mode will give, but I'll try it and see how I like it. Also, the minus button for the text does not work...it makes text bigger. The auto scroll on the text at first was irritating until I figured out how to control it...not a bad feature...I can get use to it. I suggest a sleep timer.

Useful app with both the dramatized and voice narrations. What keeps this from being a 5 star app is that the player doesn't remember where I stopped listening, though the chapter list displays the next chapter. But if I go tho another app mid-chapter then come back the progress bar on the player has gone back to 0. I'm not sure why, because if I take a phone call mid-chapter it resumes at the right place after the call. I would also like to be able to skip back or forward 10 or 15 seconds.

When it comes to the reading it can be nice. The ads are out of the way and rarely distracting. What is distracting is going from the reading to having music and vocals in the background that are louder than the reading voice all for the sake of adding "atmosphere." If you like music and vocals in the background that's great but I just want to read, not be distracted by unnecessary things.

It glitches sometimes. When I leave the app and the audio is playing in the background. If I go back to the app the text is frozen and I can't scroll through it anymore. Also the auto change to the next chapter, I wish I could turn that off. Also when it auto changes the chapter it doesn't auto play the audio. Besides that I really like the voice and the app overall is great. The biblegateway app doesn't have audio for nkjv that's why I got this. This voice is way better. Where did you get it?

The app design is simplistic, and not gonna lie, kinda ugly. But! It is very easy to use, and has what it needs. You cannot change the version or the voices, but that isn't a problem for me. I love that I can adjust how fast the audio plays!!! Only complaint is I haven't figured out how to set it to auto play through an entire book, you have to select each chapter as far as I can tell.

a fair rendition. I find the music a bit distracting at times. The use of different voices helps at times, but sometimes the choice of readers does not fit the characters as well as it might. The app will only read one chapter at a time without prompting. It does not remember where you left off when you reopen the app so you have to scroll through all the books of the Bible to get to the one you want each time you open it. occasional long pauses between sections

The voices seem spoken by real actors! For example the title announcer (to me) sounds like Michael York (A British actor of the 70s) I love his voice. Other apps have bad actors faking emotions. My only con is app is a bit confusing to use. Sometimes I lose my place and when I click the voice at the bottom it's not the dramatized voice and even play simultaneously...rather confusing. Anyway I uninstalled the other apps and kept this one! Great app! 👍

This works well for when WiFi is around, or data is not an issue. I also like that it has repeat 1, or whole book functions. I wish it could download the audio to the phone for no data or wifi usage. For improvement I would like it if I could set the audio verse to start with, end with, then repeat the indicated part. That would be very helpful for memorizing verses so too many verses are not repeated, and memorization is better focused.

The backround music helps me to absorb the word better. The consistency of voices of the different characters is an added advantage. It makes it easier to identify them, I can always tell oh, that's Paul speaking. Perhaps when changing readers, there should be an almost closer match to previous reader. Overall I truly enjoy reading and listening. One request is if you were to ever record again, use pronunciation of names and places closer to how they are pronounced in Israel. Blessings

I retain scripture the best by hearing the text read outloud as my eyes are following along on the page. I especially like the feature of the dramatized reading with background ambience. It makes the readings more lively for me. I can visualize more what the text reads as well as stay focused on reading. I struggled to retain what I read before. My mind has a tendency to wander off while I am reading. This app helps me tremendously and I enjoy reading my bible way more with it. Awesome!

It's much easier to take in information when listening to the bible. Great with the old and new testament and the dramatised version to choose from. I agree with a previous rater that the app should remember where you were as in a book mark. This is something that was forgotten about but is very important for a seamless flow of learning. This is the manual of the human race.

I am blessed with this app thankyou developers, as my eyesight is not so strong. I appreciate that the reading speed may be varied - I prefer 0.8 speed - also that the reader has a near neutral accent & a pleasant pitch & tone. As well, I can enjoy hearing God's word while doing something else. My only suggestion for improvement is that there be continuity between consecutive chapters (& books), so there's no need to reset the reading at the end of a chapter. May God truly bless the developers.

Not user-friendly. From one chapter to the next you have to literally select instead of it. Just rolling over continuously to another chapter. Also, the pop-up ads are very annoying. Period would be a great app if it would just automatically scroll to the next chapter. Very useful if you're driving.

Wonderful app! The non-dramatic voice is well done. I thought he was reading just a little fast for me to absorb but found the minus sign (-) and was able to slow him down to my own pace. My one hindrance is no space to jot down notes. Perhaps a margin to the side. The highlighter works great but without being able to accompany it with the name of the study, what the Lord is teaching me or the date, it's limited. Thank you, though, for a really great tool.

I thought it was wonderful until all the sound effects. I couldn't hardly hear what was being said or considerate. That's a shame plus it needs to play through the chapter or book if necessary. Really wish i could've used this but too distracting. Update just reinstalled and i see options now for sound effects. I like it much better without and also to keep playing thank you i use it a lot.

Its just about "ok". The audio is very clean and the narrator's voice is excellent. However, this app needs to be able to keep a "bookmark". Once you close or switch window the last spot is gone 🙄😔. You can bookmark a physical bible. Netflix bookmarks your shows. Why doesnt this app bookmark your progress?

I went to sleep listening to the Bible. I like the way you do it, different voices & a little background effect. This morning I found it has verse of the day & other verses too 4 the day.. I love it. I love the Bible. Thank you. I have 3 you version apps now & they're all beautifully different. Hopefully it has fixed bugs as I've had adverts on my email from this app that would make me delete the app if not. The big was fixed quickly. Thank you.
