NKJV Bible Offline free

I really like the NKJV Bible app. It's offline which is always good when you loose access to internet connection as often as I do. It's very crisp clean and well designed and I love the interface and ease to use when looking up book, chapter and verse. The only drawback is not being able to search highlighted or bookmarked passages. Great app all in all!

This bible app is really good except for one drawback. It's very difficult to change the print size. Trial and error, closing the app and reopening only to have to repeat over and over for desired size. All other apps have a font icon that can be tapped to resize instantly without opening and closing the entire app to check for unknown results. Some of us need larger print for poorer eyesight. This process has left me exasperated.

I am happy with this app. Choosing chapters or verses can be a bit tricky. Your numbers for the chapters and the verses, can be a overwhelming, as there doesn't seem to be a clear distinction between the 2. It seems as if you're still in one or the other and you have to double check the headings. Maybe make one set of headings and numbers a different colour to the other set?

The app is very good. I like it especially the design. However; a feathure to bookmark would have been excellent. Also you should include a reading plan. Plus the font sizing and word spacing should be numerically scalable. Like 1.0, 1.5, 2.0, etc Because too much space between some words at the rihgt hand edge of the smartphone. The app takes too long to load. Some times it will hang while loading. It looks I am nitpickling. In d church u need 2 go 2 a particular spot 2 read fast. Thanks

It's a great app, but I would like to be able to swipe back & forth between chapters. I'm reading the book of Luke & each time I need a new chapter I have to click under the next chapter in drop down menu then the verse. It would be much easier if you could just continue on being able to flip through pages. Otherwise, very satisfied with this app...has made my studies a little easier since I can have the Bible on the go. I'd definitely recommend it!

I've used this app in church the past three Sundays and while it initially seemed strange to use a cell phone as a Bible rather than a book, it's obviouly easy to carry around, the words ARE the same and it's so much faster for finding specific scriptures than leafing through hundreds of pages printed on thin paper stock (and uses only 37MB of memory). Being able to choose which translation to use is a real bonus. I'm an NKJV guy but there are a good number to choose from. Highly recommended.

The have tried the app for two days but I find like it's not easy to navigate around it. By this I mean a reader should be able to highlight and have an option of colours and different versions. I highlighting but there was only one colour that disappeared after closing the app. I didn't enjoy it especially having used to a different app.

It's been good. I have access to the Bible whenever I feel like, irrespective of the time of the day. The interesting thing is that whenever you open to read, it takes one straight to where you were the last time. This encourages continuity in daily Bible reading. However I will like to say that there should be a magnifier to enable readings without reading glasses, in case of emergency. Thank you

No need to change the font size, is the perfect size for easy reading. Finding scripture verses is fast and easy. When I stop reading in a place, it is automatically marked so the next time I open the app it opens where I stopped reading last. I really like that feature.

I love the organization of the daily verses because it includes a brief explanation of the verse and a short prayer. The Bible is easy to navigate through when looking for any book or chapter, and the fonts are easy to read. However, the ads are often distracting. Blessings 🙏

When I installed this app I was quite annoyed with the slow loading. The app just shows loading to 100% and the circle keeps on spinning. Maybe it was due to my phone. After a few days the loading of the app was quite fast now. I really like the daily verse with the explanation and a short prayer too. Willing to pay for a adv free version.

The daily word and prayer is a nice touch to this bible application. Although it is a little different to how you navigate the reading it is very useful once you have got used to it. It is well written and easy to process the meaning of scripture through out and has different versions for personal choice. To be honest I wasn't overly impressed at first glance as it appeared to be same as many others. However after using it for a few weeks it became apparent that it was a good application.

I prefer this version of the app because it's easy to do searches from specific parts of the Bible, the update is not as easy. Also this version of the app doesn't include headings as part of the verses however the update places the verse number at the start of the headings so that someone who does not know the Scriptures may think the headings are apart of the verses.

Good Bible App. Been using it for few months now. However, I believe it can be improved. Your ads are seizing the screen and no option to say yes or no. It is like imposing the ad on the reader to open it. I had to close the whole app and reopen again. Please give us options to choose anytime the ads appear.

It's a good app with a simple design that does its job. It gives the NKJV Bible and contains no ads. At least not in my experience. I read offline. There are a few options when it comes to how the words appear. This includes font size adjustments and night/day mode. In the end, though, I don't one should be too critical when it comes to the word of our Lord. Just that we be sure that nothing has been added to or taken away from the message and meaning of the Bible.

NKJV is so true to the original writings. It is a joy to read. It has set aside the aniquity of language (thee, thou, eth and so on) and yet preserved the beauty of the word without compromise. I give the app 5 stars. It seens fairly easy to use. I am still becoming familiar with it at this time. If i can transition from book to book then i will definately be happy.

It great . I love this App especially for the fact that I can use it at anytime and anywhere without data. I love the daily verse option as well; the thought and prayer I find are very helpful and timely. Using this App has boost my Bible reading and study. However, I would have loved to be able to cross-reference some stuff without having to open a separate tab, but other than that, its a great app. Thanks!!

Goes by the book with no man made edits, no taking away or adding to the words within scripture without necessity, and some good tools for helping find verses easier. The "share app" button is convenient but not absolutely necessary. All in all the app is very well done and thought out, good job and good luck to the devs. of this app.

I know they must pay the bills but having ads pop in the middle of your Bible study is very distracting... Nevertheless I use this app as my go to Bible it's quick it's easy and it's small a true pocket Bible in that it's inside my cell phone. It has scholarly references to other translations which is useful and helpful I particularly like search feature.. I would caution the creators of this app ain't broke don't fix it... Your updated version is nowhere near as good as original I deleted it

The app is excellent .when I go to search I can type the key word or the sentence. It makes the search easier .Also I can touch the bible text and it takes me there . The previous app doesn't do that you have to close the search go to the books section to search for the text .this app makes it very easy when teaching with the app congrats atsu.

This is described as multiversity Bible. This is extremely deceptive. Yes, there is way to open the page to change the version. However, inorder to change the version, you expect us to jump through hoops. Why don't you just put the different versions up front? Instead of us having to Find the link...though you do not indication WHICH link...then email the link to you. It is for that rediculousness, I can only give you 1 star. If you can't offer it up front, do not offer it at all.

This version of the bible which I have downloaded standout because it has subtitles which makes better understanding of the passages I read, esp. Psalm and proverbs. The search and filter options are the best and my favourites. Thank you.

Easy to read, put in words that are easily understood by anyone. I really like the 2 different background modes also. I like the dark mode as it's easier on the eyes.

The new ads are lovely. I waited 6 minutes in vain for the daily verse to load. No way to skip the ad. So much for a quick reference. If the new ads slow the loading of the text, it defeats the use of app. Try to fix this, please.

Is a good thing you have a Bible online. I find it quite challenging to use. Why couldn't you make it in such a way that when one click your App the Old and New Testament icon pop up. Then when you click either of them, the books will align themselves and you go directly to what you wanted to read. Unnecessary complications are uncalled for.

I have done a lot of research on different Bibles and the NKJV is the one closest to the KJV Bible. I really appreciate being able to read the Bible on my phone; especially when I can't get to mine. This app is awesome. God bless you and hold you in God palm of His hands

Lowered my rating because the updated version is terrible, and ads popping up all the time is very frustrating. I would gladly purchase so there would be no more ads.
