NLT Bible free audio offline version

Altogether a great app. I don't like the fact that when you're in one chapter of a book and need to move say 10 chapters ahead, you have to swipe right all the way there because going back only gives you a list of all the books of the Bible again, not the chapters of the book you're reading. And the first verses of some chapters are mixed up with the headings as if they're part of the headings. The share, highlight, notes features are really cool.

awesome app. my favorite go to app right now. plays audio chapter after chapter without data usage/works offline. bookmark/highlight text, slow or speed up speech voice, etc. voice is a little robotic, but who cares. i just slow down the speech to 0.90 of 1.00 normal speed and it comes out fine. great offline for reading or audio. to do audio, select book chapter and verse, then touch verse, and a icon will open up for the audio to start.

It's a very smart bible at the intersection of spirituality and contemporary culture. The audio feature makes it very easy to hear God's word even when tired or half-asleep. Although the automatic reading seems a bit fast, I think it helps however the user grasping the whole bible's content in less than a week. Furthermore, the audio clarity, and the simple English contribute to a smooth transmission of God's word that this version offers. Thanks a lot to the App engineering team

It's being a wonderful experience with NLT, works perfectly fine. Their only issue is, while your phone light is on, the audio will continue, but as soon as the light is out, 30 seconds interval, the audio will stop. Aside this, it's working perfectly fine for me

This app is very good especially its differently designed Bible reading plans. The only problem I have experienced is its failure to stay on even if you changed from the settings. You have to keep tapping on the screen to keep the app on.

3.5 star. I like the various features of this app such as the choice in learning plans and the audio feature. However the robotic voice is driving me crazy as it hard to focus on actually hearing the gospel. Change the vice and I'll give an extra star.

I have used this Bible app on three different phones, however, I enjoyed it MUCH more before the updated version. The updated version doesn't go back to the page I left off at.The audio is horrible.It would be greatly improved by using a pleasant human voice instead of the BAD computer voice.

I should have rate this app 4 or 5 stars but my reason for the 3 stars are that: 1. It keeps stopping intermittently 2. Making it difficult sometimes to start again when it stops 3. Some times part of the written will not appear. You'll only be hearing the voice reading without the script.

Like the app needs some tweeks, wish it would return to chapter and verse last used. Better control of adjustment of speech synithis. Be nice to download entire book and playback with audio with out being connected to the internet. Wish start audio symbles were at top of screen and not next to lines being read. high lighted txt in lite blue or yellow options Thanks bill

I like this app, but I have to keep highlighting the whole chapter in order for the audio to read it, it gets tiring to have to always highlight more than 60 verses in a chapter, it so read the whole chapter automatically without having to highlight each verse.

The audio is very very poor. It's not excellent at all. No background sound, not a human voice but a robotic voice. Please, if you are downloading this Bible Audio, because of the audio, do not download it, it had a very poooooor audio. I have uninstalled mine Thanks

Great app, the audio feature is awesome, It's very audible and it's helping me read through the bible faster. It would be nicer though, if the voice sounds more natural.

Thank Lord and thank you very much for this app. Ít works very good. But the voice of audio is very strange, not NATURE at all, not same real voice of human, so i afraid that this voice will cause my ears to be damaged in listening English ability! Huhuhu

Great offline audio save data. Ajustable reading speed and pitch are good features. But it is a little too sensitive to cause pause of reading, I have to push the play button every time it happens.

It is an awesome Bible app that does not take much space. I particularly like the fact that you can use it offline. It would be nice if you have other versions in audio form and offline too like this.

My experience is great but if you could work on adding some background colour change for our eyes. It's just night and day modes which are not enough.

I'm grateful to the developer of this app. I've been using it for almost two years. No adds. Everything is coming out fine. I only wish if the audio could be upgraded to human voice. I rate I 5 🌟 🌟 🌟🌟🌟 stars

I love it the best thing that has happened to me was this app.It helps me to be saturated With the word of God.Now I have no excuse. I would love for it to have options to download various translations so that one can get a degree of clarity so that understanding of the text may be more pronounced.

I have enjoyed using the APP. The only challenge I observed is that when I am using it and at the same time moving about it stops reading. It's perfectly fine when I am not moving about.

It's highly commendable to have an App that would run an audio without using data. On the flip side, the words just disappear midway. Excellent though.

I love this app. It works perfectly fine and served me well. If possible work on the reading, it's too fast and the voice not natural.

I thank the dev of this app the voice and english are so good and clear. There is speed ajustment as well. May God bless you for I've been realy suffering searching one of the kind. Actually I was looking for a man's voice. This audio bible is one of those I download and deleted. Reason, they were not what I've been looking for. But later found out this one is the best. Very good bible ... please put a login option where u can have an account that you can access your bookmarks and other things you save on the app in the event that u change gadgets and download it .otherwise I am extremely happy with the app
