Awful and irresponsible institution I have ever come through. Made full payment,and they say that the fees not paid fully, over that..due to some miss communication on the portal, I have to suffer and miss my course in between...surely m going to escalate this matter to the Administration soon.
App is Nice Need some improvement! Especially A Picture and picture mode would be great so that student can multitask or quickly search things on google to understand things better while listening. I use split screen mode in these scenarios but picture in picture mode will be cherry on top. Also visuals could have been better & well finished Also can not resume lecture where I left before which is annoying
Again I missed on my lectures ...thanks to this app that never works. I am unable to view my lectures. After working for 10hrs straight in office when you remove some time to attend lectures ...then this app never works. It has been a worst exp honestly.... offline is better as there's no technical glitches.
Please provide an option for resume from last watched video. I have to remember the time stamp of the lecture everytime before exiting the app because it doesn't resume from last watched. Overall the app is great.
No option to increase or decrease the speed of recorded lectures in the app. Almost all professors teach slowly, somebody like me likes to watch at 1.25x but there's no option in the app.
My app is not working. I have updated it and since then i am unable to open any files. I have to start eorking on my assignment but i can't open the file. Kindly resolve this.
App is not getting installed properly, not able to receive otp for login
I tried to update the new version of the app Today at least thrice, but everytime after updating it's showing unable to download. And the even the older version is also not running. Kindly resolve.
1. whatever we download is not saved in phone memory. 2. App is eating up phone memory 3. Not user friendly
Well ought to improve several area. 1. Offline video player should have ability to change playing speed. 2. Offline video player should be able to skip certain seconds, as required by user. 3. Provision must exist to save Offline content on SD card. Interoperability with other players/ readers would be a bright idea. 4. Access time to offline content to be reduced. Please earn the missing star:-)
The app video lectures are not downloading into files which can be transferred to the laptop as the phone memory is full and I am not able to download lectures and files and transfer them to pc. Earlier the files are created and easily transferred but now it is not transferable to pen drive or pc. It is eating up phone space nothing else of use. It is also not transferring the downloaded files. Update or make changes in it as earlier version fastly, it will make me help to complete my semester
When video downloaded to watch offline there is no speed option to make video faster, as lectures are very slow it takes a huge tim to cover 1 lecture which is a time waste kindly add speed option
It got better. Last 6 months i couldnt download the lectures but now its happening. Suggestion: The downloaded lectures needs to also get in a folder with a title as the subject name. Sometimes its difficult to find the required one. Need to play the video and check.
In the academic calendar if we click for the recorded sessions it shows yet to be uploaded whereas it's already in the resources. That needs to be synced. So it becomes easy to navigate to the lecture. Edit: issue has been resolved
Will rate 5 stars if following improvement is done: 1.Downloaded videos should have option to increase playback speed. 2.Once a video is being watched it should log the time upto which it was watched so that one can resume the video again from same previous time. 3. One should have option to book videos in mobile app so that one can easily visit chosen videos.
App is good. I find the first rating/feedback page annoying every time the app is opened. If I have not attended a session or previously skipped a session I don't think there is a need for the rating page to be my first screen. Also chapter wise segregation/filter would be great to have.
Suggestion to the app development team 1) Marking/highlighting with save option in downloaded PDF file - It will be more easy to us if we can mark important points or lines in pdf and save it for after for self study 2) Downloading & transfer option of PDF files and Record Videos to sd card - It will be very helpful when we get option for transfer in SD card as internal storage is used by this app and device becomes slow. Hope this will be updated soon in the app my JULY20 batch is starting soon
The app needs a lot of imporvement...Once you start reading a download file or book and incase your phone gets lock you need to open the document again for reading which is very inconvenient. Downloaded file are not able to be viewed also aftr going in download options. Request the technician to fix the app for better use.
Classes (faculty) are really good as they are participative plus good examples and cases are given. Apart from classes, all the information is given on time and it includes all the things a student can ask for from a distance education university.
App is working very slow, it takes so much time and effort to open the recorded sessions always. I have installed in two, three phones to cross check, its the same in all mobiles. Kindly work to make it faster. It's very irritating sometime to juz open a recorded sessions.
For last few days the app automatically closed after few seconds it’s opened. I cannot do anything using the app. My app version is 0.173.24 and last updated on 14th February2020. I tried with uninstall and reinstalling the app but the problem remain same. Please help me to resolve the issue urgently as my 4th semester class will start from 20th February.
Pathetic app, the app is worst. Every time there is live session planned and we trybto join it. The app goes slow. Moreover its gets you logged out of the app. App crashes often. When i tried to log in through laptop, the same issue continues with web portal.
It would be great if a feature of continue watching will be added, because not everytime i am unable to watch entire session at one go. it would be very helpful when this continue watching will be added.
Why you want such personalized access to the most personal device of any student? You have nothing to do with our files, camera, data in short still ppl give access to you by clicking on privacy policy. Usually our work base information is also there in phones and office mails which no one should have access to as its non compliance. Why not simple user interface application is built by NMIMS? This is too much
Whenever I try to play a recorded session, the screen gets blank and then starts flickering. This is the only app where I am having this issue. I am not sure if this is a device specific or general. My device info - samsung m21, android version - 10 Edit: When will the issue be resolved?
I am not able to attend session through app. It always shows :- "error not able to connect to zoom".. while I can attend the session through browser easily but why not through the app.I have also sent screen shot of same to ngasce whatsapp
Speed option is only available when we watch the lectures on wifi or mobile data. Why there is no speed option available for downloaded videos. Downloaded lectures when played and minimized then when again resumed its not showing the actual running time of the lectures. Sometimes the app automatically gets switched off.
