NOAA Buoys Live Marine Weather

I read my local buoys data in the winter. I don't like my boat to freeze hard, so i keep heaters on board. This app tells me when they need to be turned on. It's never crashed, and the data is always consistent with other measurements in the area.

Problem NOT fixed. Last update was March 9. Tried uninstalled and reinstalled no change. What's up? Is there an update available? Used to love checking the buoy reports! Been using the app for years. Found it super handy when we've gone boating in the Haida Gwaii's and Southeast Alaska.

CMAN sites are not a water based buoy. They are on land, lacking imperative info such as wave height, wave timing and much more. Cedar Key, Keaton Beach, are just two of such sites. Be careful when using these sites. The data is good and in real time if that's all you need.

Good, current info when the weather buoys are online - which I do not believe the owners of this app have any control over. Would love to see some more data sources also so there would be move coverage- especially in Southeastern NJ! But I love this app and rely on it to tell me whether or not to get the wetsuit on.

Nowhere near the details shown in photos. Very basic and no sea temps. Also seems to focus on USA. many claimed facilities just none-existent and graphics - plain white page with text only

I've been a commeercial fisherman 40 yrs and was more interested in the barometric pressure and sea state than if there is rain or snow and that's what works for me and others i am sure.

I live 45 minutes inland, too far removed to get NOAA weather radio. This app opens quickly and updates regularly. Nice to have that information so readily available when I'm deciding if I want to run out and throw up a sail.

4 stars on most buoys, i thought that there was suppose to be live camera action on each buoy but there is not. At least not to this date. At some sites i can get more info from my normal radar sight, but a few give quite precise details as they all should. if the cameras worked it would be a 5 star rating.

Sailed the length of Lake Michigan during some very transitional weather patterns. We consulted the app dozens of times a day. With NOAA Buoys and Navionics apps, we managed to avoid several severe storm cells and sail with prevailing winds as often as possible.

Very helpful for planning fishing trips or just walks on the beach. I use it almost every day and find it is usually very helpful

Let's myself know that mother nature can be very different 50 miles away from where I am on the water.. Also if I'm going to choose to go out or not determining on the outcome given. Wind water and row conditions, and plus..

Finally an app that does just what i wanted and nothing else! I've got my favorite buoys all tagged and can make a quick check of the conditions on the bay, whether heading out or just wishing I was (or being glad Im not out there if it's really blowing)

Great app for chasing surf. All buoy data in one place and select which buoys you want to look at. Put them in any order you want. God bless AMERICA, The Ocean, and it's King, The Surfer.

I like that it offers information from local bouy's, however if the information was more up to date and consistent that would make it better.

Never provides any wave information. Difficult to navigate. Tells you to select a buoy and add it to favorites but never saves the favorite.

Easy to use not loaded with too many features. Gives a quick concise report.

this is a great app been using it for years..just installed it on my new Samsung phone. use it down the coast all the way Key West.

The information is brief and accurate. Easy to use . Wish wave hieght was included.

Works good but not enough info from the buoys. South Florida West is my go to buoy for going off shore but there is no wave height info.

This is a great app for quick reference of wx buoys. It's nice that you can save your favorites. Ease of use is great

Good quick info Find the buoys you need and save them. Super easy to open the app and touch the buoy for your info.

great app to see what current weather conditions are. I use it to see what winds and sea states are in my area.

Real time weather. Great for fisherman that want to be able to go out safely.

Easy to use and really useful giving a picture of real as opposed to predicted weather and sea state.
