The NOAA Ocean Buoys and Tides PRO application provides users with access to live data transmitted from hundreds buoys scattered throughout North America, Alaska, Hawaii, Canada, Europe, and the Caribbean. Most buoys provide information about current wave heights, wave periods, wind speed, wind direction, air temperature, water temperature, atmospheric pressure, pressure tendency, and dew points. It also provides tide information for the USA including Alaska and Hawaii. You can also save your favorite Buoys and Tides for easy retrieval! It gives some info. The app layout is pretty awful, and it honestly doesn't feel very premium. Provided information is not really worth the price tag.
I tried another buoy app - and it crashed and burned. Mistakenly, I thought I'd installed this app (NCAA Ocean Buoys and Tides) - the name of the other app was that similar! Steve at Asbury Mobile worked with me to try and figure out why their app crashed, only to find I'd installed the other app. I've since trashed the other app and installed this one. Steve even added several buoys local to me right away! Great app & service.
Works good i wish there was a few more bouys for the great lakes. It would be nice if there was an update for this app hasn't been one for 5 years.
I like the idea of this app I paid for it but I can't access the map nor can I access my favorite area if someone could help me with this I will definitely change my review
App is simple and straight forward, easy to use. I love it. They didn't have the bouys I needed out in Guam, so I emailed them. Steve sent me a NOAA map and said any bouys I find that would be useful to me, he would add. A day later they were up and running. Thanks a ton Steve!
V.1.2 Pretty good app. A little glitchy but gets you the data you need.
No longer supported. Data Not Available for every buoy & tide. Support email address undeliverable. Took money and closed up shop. Pitty, as this used to be a good app.
Have the app but today when I tried to open it I keep getting referred to the go daddy site, asking for more money, when I already paid for it! Mad as hell now.
Every bouy is not sending data. I don't live in the boonies here. I'm in Nyc. South shore of long island. The only one close that works is sandy hook nj. Even that just gives air & water temp. Total waste of money.
Added buoys I use immediately. Couldn't ask for better app and response from creator. Would actually give more stars if possible
Make sure you know what this can do for you - there doesn't seem to be a refund policy available for this app...
Worthless. Most stations aren't even buoys. Waste of money. Complained to website and rec'd no response.
Missing half of them off the MS Gulf Coast. Please refund.

Asbury did not renew their domain, can't access buoy or tide data.
Seems they let the domain name expire. Shame cause it IS a useful app...
Good looking, but no input method for search, physical or virtual keyboard. No map for tides. - Moto Droid - 2.2
I used this on a Galaxy S5. Each time, at startup, you have to select your region, and the scroll thru a long list of stations to find yours, and then save them as favs. But when u restart, it hasn't saved them, and you have to redo the whole process over again. And there is NO settings menu or anything. Poor functuonality, especially for a paid app. Refunded.
Paid for it never worked once got rid of it the same day don't waste your money
Would not load and when removed would bit give refund.
Simplistic user friendly and great quick point of referrence for buoys and tides. Like they say if you dont see your local or regional listing, simply ask them and they put it on. I made a request and in ten minutes it was on the app. Outstanding customer service
