I had to close half a dozen prompts to upgrade to the paid version in the first 2 minutes after launching the app. I get using ads to support the free version, but the constant nagging to 'unlock new features in the paid version' before I've even had a chance to experience the free offering is an absolute 'hard no' for me. Uninstalled.
Overall this is my favorite weather app; it looks nice, has nice features and works well. I've had issues over my time using the app, but the developers have fixed many of them and in my experience are very willing to respond and try to solve any issues. Although it's not always the most accurate weather app I haven't found a better one. They added the ability to make corrections to current weather which I haven't seen in any other weather app which helps with accuracy. Overall great app!

This app is great !" - this was my original review when I thought this was a Free app. I am reducing 5 stars to 1 and cancelling because I do not remember agreeing to pay for the subscription whici is more than 5 bucks a month. This is astronomical. I can easily look up the weather. I prefer saving money. I never agreed to this. Even if I accidentally clicked on a button, I'm not the skipper of a boat. Don’t need to know how many knots the wind's blowin!
Not impressed. There are forced ads, and most features don't even work without paying. I have several subscriptions to other weather apps, but this one is greedy, and aggressive with the ads... That's enough for me to keep my money. I'll give a second star simply because the app looks ok,and doesn't seem to be trash. Having said that, it doesn't provide me anything that my other apps don't, so I'm not missing out on anything... Good luck greedy devs!
It works flawlessly! However this app appears to try and connect to multiple different ad and or analytics servers every few seconds which causes unecessary battery usage. I understand the developers want and need for these services but to have them trying to establish multiple connections every few seconds is a bit much. Just a heads up to anyone using VPN firewalls to blackhole traffic in this case ads and analytic servers by blocking them that is what causes the infinite connection attempts.
I loved this app when I subscribed last year 5 stars for sure, but since the changes were made to the app it does not function or operate the same. The view changed completely and there are not enough customization options so that you can set it back to the old format. There is no option. I am canceling for now. If the app goes back to original formatting, I will definitely resubscribe to NOAA again no question. Please let me know of improvements to your app.
I paid for a yearly subscription for this app because it was recommended to me. I receive multiple notifications for the same alert for the same city, resulting in 20+ notifications a day. The data is not accurate. The app showed no precipitation for the day, while it was actively snowing, and we ended up with 4 inches of snow. The forecast is incorrect 90% of the time. If I hadn't already paid for the year, I would delete this app.
FAIL! I used this app for a few months and was pretty impressed with the snowfall forecast and snow depth tracker. Would've given it 4 stars, BUT...I'm currently sitting snack dab in the middle of an area that's under a severe thunderstorm warning AND a TORNADO WARNING issued by the NWS... Clime failed to notify or even show that we were under the tornado warning, even after verifying settings and refreshing. Opened my other weather apps and they showed both warnings without issue. Uninstalled.
Radar is great. The video ads with sound are not good. I understand the free app has the ads to support it but when I silence my phone for meetings, church, laying in bed with my wife sleeping, my phone doesn't automatically silence the media so when I open the app and an ad pops up with sound that is usually not good for me. I don't mind ads to have a free service I'm just giving people a heads up about the sound.
Advertising is overwhelming every time you use the app. Pop ups every turn with distractions around every corner. It is easier to do an internet search on the weather than getting stopped every five seconds.
I'm looking for a weather app on my phone that will allow me to look at wind speeds and wind velocities as in when I'm looking at red and green together to see where possible rotation is at in a storm cell. If this app has it, it's impossible to find. Uninstalled and continued my search
The fact you have not just one, but 2 screens trying to get people to sign up one after the other, with an X to reject that's clearly designed to be hard for most to see, requiring them to sign up to the trial. Means that I'm uninstalling
The details provided are solid, the forecasts aren't any less reliable than others. BUT, as of 2022 there is so little time between ads that it's basically unusable.
This has got to be the worst app available. The ads on this app are so over the top, I've never seen anything like it. The ads are constant so you are never able to do anything with this app. These ads will literally lock up your phone so you can't get out of the app, you can't open another app and at times you can not shut your phone off. I have had ads through this app that went on for over an hour and 20 minutes. No way to stop it, shut off your phone, answer a call, text, etc. The worst app
This app is a scam. Sure the notifications and seeing the weather for my friends across the world is nice. But there is so may pay walls that it's almost unusable. You literally have to pay to be able to see the future part of the radar when EVERY other weather app does it for free.
Was good until the pop-ups started appearing every time the weather changes! I don't want to add layers to the map but every time I open the app a pop-up appears asking me to add layers!
You get 3 day(s) of trial service then you have to pay 5$ a month to even use the app. The pay wall pops up before you can even see the weather so there is no way around it. At least not that I have found. If I could 0 star I would. If this review isn't a enough for you to avoid. Look at the developers responses to other reviews. Basically "Hi sorry you don't like it and we tricked you thanks for the cash bye email us to a none responsive email for suggestions"
Temperature forecast screen has frozen app. Follow up. On wind direction arrow. Arrow is inside compass rose and i was of opinion that it was pointing at the direction the wind was coming from. If I look at it as pointing in the wind is going to it is correct. Just imagine the arrow is outside the compass rose pointing to the direction wind is coming from. Counter intuitive to me but maybe it's just my perception. Good overall. Problem with wind direction. Arrow points 180 degrees wrong.
Must close the app completely and reopen to get updated weather. Very slow to provide watches, warnings, notifications, etc. My family uses a different app on their phones and they always receive notifications well before me. And their apps are free... Would prefer to have more control over opacity of shading for watch, warning areas.
In my previous phone , I could change the settings of this app. Now, this is set for past weather, not a prediction of future. Also only shows either temperature or rain or other. Needing to be enabled each time. Really annoying
I LOVE. A great weather app that has alot to offer. Earthquake, lightning stk, hurricane trk etc.. But the price is a little costly for this one. One I have offers very much more n free. Pay to remove ads. not to colorful just color are needed
This app is getting better all the time. There's a nice walk through now so there's no reason to complain about 'missing' features that were there the whole time. The look and feel have changed a lot over the years and it's obvious the developers are trying to improve the app ((E)BUT LATEST FEATURES ARE SHOWING ME ALMOST HALF THE US AND I CAN'T FIND MY COUNTY, TIME AND AGAIN. THEN SUDDENLY LOOKING AT THE MIDWEST, NOT ROCKIES AND THE OVERLAY IS BLOCKING THE MAP. SWITCHING OVERLAYS IS HIDE & SEEK.

I spent money for this??? Inaccurate radar. I have not left my apartment in 25 hours, but it keeps showoff city over 30 minutes away from me. I have deleted it several times and it keeps defaulting to that.
I had to cancel the app. Then reinstall. This app is currently working better. I do like the accuracy of the weather forecast. So I have changed my negative review. I am hopeful it continues to work well. This paid subscription app frequently goes off line when my phone shows me having service. I am done with it. Tired of it not working and especially when I paid for it and there are so many free good apps available.
