I'm a bicycle outdoors guy and I use a few different weather apps. This is probably the best. NOAA sourced information perfectly presented. The graph mode gives you an eyeball picture of what's going on now and a great way to see what's coming! Update: I have been using this app for a long time. I use this and Radar X (very fast loading radar map) and that's all I need!
😕"Update"-Location issues. No content. Won't load. Uninstalled. Reinstalled. What is going on now with this app. Will try one more time, then move on. I need weather now, not "try again later". "Update"-Seems to be working ok, for now..."🤞"...Hope no more issues right away, really is a good app for what I need it to do. Like the fact there IS NOT a lot of "clutter". Please, stay on it.🙂👍
Noah Weather Unofficial is an Amazingly Awesome Application! I have used it for years! It is Very Easy to Use! You and Your Family, and Friends Will Find it Useful, and Very Easy to Use, Exactly Correct Forecasts, Correct Current Weather. It is for Everyone, Outdoors and Indoors. At Ball Games, Hunting and other Out door Sports as well. Detailed Weather Forcast and Emergency Notices For Fishermen on inland Lakes and Rivers, and on the Gulf of Mexico, and the Atlantic Ocean too. TRY IT & ENJOY!!
I have used this app for several years now. I have always been happy with it until this last update. Now, when I use the Map section to check radar image, all I get is "Error loading map frames". I use that function A LOT. Please FIX!!
I would definitely give it 5 stars except that the forcast details are frequently unavailable. It would also be nice if the info didn't disappear if you are out of service. By this I mean it would be nice to be able to see it if you had looked it up ahead of time and you go in the woods or something. Taking screenshots is tedious.
I realize it's a free app but EVERY time lately that I open the app it pops up a DEPENDS add. How absolutely disgusting, Adds are one thing, inappropriate adds are a whole different thing.
When compared to any other app, this is the most accurate. Folks need to understand that weather predictions are usually never 100%! In general, they're information given to let us know what is headed our way and that is usually always subject to change, whether the change is subtle or drastic. When observing the weather in my area, I find that the NOAA is more precise at targeting the causes & effects that take place.
I work outside on tall buildings. This is a basic application with current radar. The most important thing for me is to know when bad weather is coming and to be able to look at radar for when it arrives. This application does the job well. And, unlike some applications used by coworkers, this application has wind speeds in its simple presentation. It's very appreciated.
I started using this version because I couldn't find the older version. I like the newer easier access to the graphics, maps, forecast & menu, but when I see and choose the graph I want, the older is one of several graphs and less congested. Mostly, this newer version is harder to keep straight in my mind, which part of which day am I looking at. Plus I can get more objects on one graph. It may grow on me, but obviously it hasn't yet. I may come around. "?" You're comment on my comment?
Accurate & excellent interface. NOAA data and forecasts extraordinarily good. Easy to configure app to see exactly what you want.
Very good app, tells me what I want without ads all over the place. I do have a suggestion: Allow user to toggle ALL notifications to "silent" with a click (or maybe click plus confirmation) -- maybe even back to "alert." Most notification categories will never hit me. I was not happy to be awakened at 6am on a precious weekend for a fog alert -- if it's not immediately life-threatening, it needs to be silent (at best). Very tedious to go through all the categories to turn them off individually.
The first weather app I open. All other apps are compared against it for me to determine the likelihood of weather events in my area. An invaluable resource.
best weather app available, besides the pro version of course! no reason to pay for it though!! the national weather service puts all weather data out for free so stop paying for Accu Weather !
Does what it says. The only thing I don't like is how it displays the chance of rain on the daily forecast. It is kind of hard to read but I really like the hourly forecast graph.
Straightforward, user friendly. Adds are unobtrusive. If it included more maps (i.e., not just radar) and forecast discussion it would merit 5 stars.
Occasionally no information is present. However, the radar and graphs are great!
The app easy to use and the forecasts are fairly accurate .It has the information I want and nothing more. Straight forward. Been using the app for some time and will continue.
Not bad for future forecasts but the radar portion is outdated. Also starting to get a lot of "Error downloading the forecast" messages making the app useless when needed most.
This weather app is the best I've used. Most apps gives you weather in the larger cities. This let's you pick area nearest to you. In my case the tower is less than 2 miles. For me, it's the most accurate in the weather. It advises fog, high winds, red alert and our area hurricane.
Fairly accurate data when the app is functioning I get a no data message about half the time I go to use this app So not very dependable on getting the data when you need it
This app has truly saved my life! Living in tornado alley makes it a must have! I have this app on all of my devices and it never lets me down because it's accurate and easy to use! Love the widget aswell! Great app devs! Thank you!
It's very helpful with day to day forecasts and helps with unexpected changes in weather!
I worked on steamboats and ships, when I was introduced to NOAA website. It is a trusted site by all pilots and captains on those vessels. 15 yrs later, still go by it. Much more accurate for my area than any other application. Thank you, saved me from a lot of bad weather driving in Western NY state.
Really like the app. However, there is one feature I would add... The live weather map only shows progress from 50 minutes ago up to current conditions. Another favorite weather app I use gives me the option to choose 60 minute projected future conditions as well as past conditions. This can be helpful in estimating when rain or severe weather will enter or leave my area. Perhaps the NOAA app already has this option but I am unable to find it in the settings.
