Noah's NY Bagels

App is ok for the most part, I don't like that you can't choose the bagels or shmears in the bagel boxes. My biggest issue is I tried placing an order, received an error that my card couldn't be processed only to find out later my card was charged anyway. I tried reaching out to their customer service email twice for a refund and still haven't received a response (nearly 2 weeks later). Will not be using the app until my issue is resolved.

I have never gotten what I ordered on the app. They always are out of some aspect of what I ordered. Sometimes, its an entire bagel sandwich, which means my one of the sandwiches is getting cold while they get around to making the replacement. Other times, they are completely out of anything suitable.

Utterly useless I have not been able to use this app even once to order. On first sign in attempt it says too many log in attempts! Doesn't let you pick the choice of bagles in bakers dozen box.

They have so many things on their menu. But, only let you order a limited menu. Waste of an app

Sleek app design but missing menu items such as pickles and orange juice, and no way to manually type in extra requests. These missing features really hurt the online order experience.

The menu is incomplete and/or incorrect and the ability to customize an order is severely limited. There is no advance ordering option, unless doing a catering order. Also, there is no integration between email and app offers and no way to enter promo codes received outside the app. Also the organization of the menu takes getting used to, which isn't as quick or user-friendly as most order-ahead apps.

I would love to be able to tip on this app. I get excellent customer service from the Noah's in Burbank, but I don't always have cash with me. Sometimes I'll avoid going to Noah's and go to Starbucks instead (across the street) because their app allows tipping. Money is more electronic now so this makes sense. Also, it should be easier to modify an order (for bread type, cheese, toppings, etc.). As it is is OK, but allowing modifications and customizations would be a great improvement.

At first (soft launch) this Noah's App was not working well. Lots of freeze ups, points not being displayed, wasn't able to pay off the App. However, since the grand roll out, everything works great! I especially like the way you can pay cash/credit and still get points, unlike other Apps that require you to buy items from the App. Only negative is you need a lot of points to get a reward but the freebies (having the App) more than compensates. So far, great App!

The app looks great but I notice it's missing things that are in the store such as the pretzel bagels which are the main thing that we order which makes it so we can't really use the app.

By now you would think a chain like Noah's would have a decent app, but this is the third time trying to download the app but I can't get past the initial page where you are supposed to agree to their terms and conditions. No problem with any other app so I know its not my phone (galaxy S10) or wifi (xfinity mobile) so I may try again in a few months. Just disappointing that can't use app to order ahead especially during these times.

It's buggy sometimes. Definitely easier to order in store.

App does not accurately show what type of bagels are available at this store. Please fix.

EDIT: 2 months later, tried again. Doesn't work. App is unusable on my Pixel 4. Can't order without logging in, but when I try to log in the app won't move past the terms & conditions page, even with all the boxes checked. Hopefully someone can look into it. Will rate once it's updated!

You cannot customize your sandwiches, you cannot request thinning of bagels, they sell you items the store is out of and you don't know until you get there to pick up your order. Then the rest of your food gets cold while waiting on replacement items. Needs to be more in sync with the actual locations you're ordering from. Also need a way to add/remove items from sandwiches.

I shouldnt need to download your app so I can place an order for pickup. & then when I used the app, the search is terrible. I looked up shmear and couldn't find it. It was under "bagel boxes". When I MADE THE ORDER and put in my info & everything, it popped up a full page dialog that looked like a promotion or something so I clicked x. Nope, that was my order confirmation. When I got to Noah's for pickup, I realised that x had cancelled it. I left, screamed, & got donuts at a local shop.

Very easy to set up and use. Unfortunately, the app does not give you an itemized receipt after you make an order ahead purchase. Most other companies' apps either show a receipt on the app itself and/or emails receipt to you. All this app does is show a purchase amount on the day of order. You have to hope the store processes the order correctly. You can't prove you ordered certain items. Also, the store hours are standard nationwide hours: app does not adapt to show modified store hours.

Updated 9/15/21 1 star: Still not able to customize anything... Original Review 2 stars 6/2020: You can't customize any bagels or sandwiches. You can't remove any ingredients you're allergic to, and you can't add any ingredients to your bagel. Having more customizable options (that you can certainly do when ordering in person) would make the app a lot more competitive as that's pretty common elsewhere.

The app is severely lacking in customization features. For example, if ordering a baker's dozen box, I can't even choose the bagels inside the box. When ordering individual bagles, it doesn't update with what bagels are and are not available in the store. Ordering rewards via the app doesn't tell the store which ones are rewards. Also, it is just not user friendly. It is hard to see what was ordered and impossible to see the stats of the order.

If you want people to use your app to order, it needs to have all the functionality of walking in and placing an order. There are no modification options on any items in this app, you can't even add flavors to your coffee. Allowing the option to select a backup choice of bagel for sandwiches would be nice as well.

This app is too restrictive. Ordering a bagel with hummus? Can't add lettuce and tomato. Ordering a sandwich? Has to come with a side and doesn't have all the bagels as choices. Unless you order perfectly what's on their menu, this app won't help you. As I'm starting to use it more there are more UX troubles. "Plain" means plain cream cheese, add opposed to "none". When checking out, three number near the submit button use the balance on your account, not the amount of the order. :(

I am happy Noah's has an app but it leaves much to be desired. -Biggest issue is not being able to redeem rewards on Mobile Orders. -There's very limited customization on mobile order. -I regularly have issues reloading money onto my account. I have to either ckose everything or even uninstall/reinstall the app. -Overall kind of slow. I work for a company that offers MOA as well, our app isn't perfect but we're always upgrading and changing it for the better.

Well, you can order food and coffee. Like others have said minimal customization. Can't change milk on most coffees. Can't add or take away items easily on sandwiches. And rewards? In-store use only. Which is super helpful in thr time of COVID-19 when no contact orders are essential. I ordered an item specifically because I had a reward for it about to expire. Found out after the fact it can't be used on the app.

Can't really customize order. For items such as deli sandwich, you can't customize such as choose bagel type, add/delete items. So I never use the app to order. So if I want to order I have to do it in person and wait... So I rarely go. If this app was better they would get much more business from me...

Can't order half box of customized bagel options. I tried months ago and wasn't able to buy anything, tried again and still essentially in pre-launch beta phase. Does not recreate menu accurately.

They recently took the prices off the shopping page so you have no idea how much anything costs until you get to the cart. Also there is no way to get a sandwich with both egg and cream cheese but not a meat, just impossible. Otherwise very convent to pick up and order is ready in a couple minutes. No way to get milk in your coffee. Definitely annoys the staff when you ask for milk.

You should add a order status feature. It's a bummer not to be able to check on status of order, and be left wondering if you're ready or not. Especially the first time I used the app, it wasn't clear like, are you going to text me when it's ready? Do I just show up? Ar least a section explaining how things will work. What the expected UX should be.

Janky busted app. Literally won't accept any cards and I know these work. Get the payment system fixed.

Just call! There is no way to review your order once you close the app. You can only view transaction history. There is also no way to customize (ie. Add mushroom, bacon, ect). And no note section where you can do things like "request extra napkins." This makes curbside pickup EXTREMELY difficult.

Placed an order with the app and once I arrived at the location was told they did not have the type, nor enough bagels, to fill my order. It should be noted the order quantity was 13. When I asked for a refund I was told I'd have to go through corporate to get it. As you can imagine no resolution has been reached with corporate. Be forewarned that you could end up paying for bagels you never receive using the app.

Noah's stores no longer answer the phone. So to pre-order, one must download and use this app. Other than the fact that the pricing tool is wildly inaccurate, that the "Bagel Box" tool forces you to choose a grab bag of undesirable flavors, a slicing option is not visible and that the schmear choices are hidden in the aforementioned Bagel Box menu, this is a great app. After 20 minutes, I gave up, drove 10 minutes to the nearest store, waited in line for 5 minutes, and got exactly what I wanted
