NoCable - OTA Antenna & TV Guide App

The first time I installed this app it worked great for about a month. It was easy to use and it was nice to be able to see what programs were coming on all the channels. But it completely stopped working saying something about an internet connection and also the zip code. I didn't have internet when it was working great and also I did have the correct zip code in for my area. I recently got internet in my home and tried reinstalling the app but it still is not working😣 NEED TO FIX!!!

When it's working it's good I really like it then but most of the time it tells me I don't have a internet connection when I do have the internet it's just a few feet away from the tv and my phone is still connected and I can get my netflix so the app is messed up. Not working again. I wish there was another app for this. it works one day, then doesn't work for couple of weeks.

I love this app when it works. The problem is it often doesn't. On a regular basis it says "We are experiencing technical difficulties." Also instead of taking you straight to the TV Guide it reloads every time you open it. What i do like is that it has the time bar across the top so you can simply slide over and see what's on anytime until midnight. I also like that it lists the number of the digital channel i get the station on vs just listing the name of the station.

Doesn't work in all locations. Sometimes changing zip code to a surrounding area produces better results. If using outdoor amplified antenna you need to reset option often, sometimes during use. If tv listings are limited, going to map and selecting a nearby station number than returning to the listings will load more stations. I've used this app while traveling and it works great away from my home address. just remember to reset zip and antenna options each time you set up ( like in RV use).

Just loaded the app today and so far it has been really handy. Instead of scrolling up and down the tv dial i can just look on my phone. After searching I can type in the station I want to watch. It also has the capabilty to review of what the show is about. We got rid cable tv a little over a month ago and have been struggling to figure out what is on tv. This app easy to use. This is a very good solution to the issue I had.

Lists most OTA channels in my area, but not all. Also lists many channels I don't get. Recently, the app will open then do nothing else. When it works, it's pretty helpful. Uninstalled & reinstalled app, it worked once then went back to opening then doing nothing. Sent an email to developer with no response. I see I am not the only user experiencing issues with the tv guide since the update.

Not as goood as the previous version. Would like to edit the list of channels displayed, either because I'm not interested in their lineup, or because There is no reception for a particular channel (even though the app says otherwise. Also, I like the "GRIT" channel (5.3 in my zip code), but I have to constantly refresh/reload to see its' listing -- which only stays on the screen for about one minute, before disappearing altogether. I rate the old version 4 or 5 stars; this one 2 or 3 stars.

Now since the ads started appearing this past couple of months, the guide doesn't show up over half the time! The ads do though, but no guide content!!! It says guide info loading then gives some crazy message. Never had this problem before. Also guide freezes up sometimes leaving you stuck for several minutes at a time. IT WAS BETTER BEFORE THE ADS!!!

this is a great app. I like that you can tap on each station and see what is on for the next 3-4hrs. you can tap on whatever show you choose and you'll even get a current synopsis of that show. The only negative for me is that when I tap on the screen icon it won't load completely the first time. I have to tap it off then tap it on a second time for it to fully load. this is annoying. Otherwise, a wonderful app!

I absolutely love this App!!! We use it as channel guide, but another of the the great features we found especially helpful, was the line-of-sight directional feed of channels, that the antenna picked up. The strength bars enabled us to point the antennae and receive the strongest broadcast. If you're installing a "cut the cable" antennae, GET THIS APP! You'll be very happy you did. I HIGHLY recommend it!

After I cancelled cable and began using antenna, I was very plzd to discover this app. It's great. Easy to use... Has complete information on channels....programs..networks and date and time. And if I click on something I'm interested in, it creates the programs description and content. I love it. I use it all the time. Thumbs up all the way for me.

It's okay but lot of the listing are wrong plus lot of scrolling to see what's currently on because it also lists past and upcoming shows. I had to scroll up 18 times to see the entire current listings. I would much prefer a grid system that just has the current shows and then scroll right if I want to see what's coming up later. I loved the TV Guide brand app until it stopped working

I don't like it like before. The only reason I use it is because it at least tells me what channels are showing. I don't like it because the indoor antenna and the outdoor antenna section is not working anymore. Now when channels I watch mess up, I have to guess which way to turn the antenna. Fix this and I will rate the app with a 5 star! It use to work, so I'm pretty sure that you can make it work again. I'll delete it and reinstall it it when it is fixed. Everybody else should do the same.

TV guide seems complete. The antenna tab only shows 8 channels, lowest # first. It is missing a lot of stations, especially ones which are closer. Not a very good tool to see which TV stations are in the area. I have an outdoor amplified antenna already, I grabbed this app to check guide information. Guide could use some usability tweeks.

The antenna feature worked great and I setup my antenna with it. Then in a few months later I wanted to adjust the antenna it no longer had the station list and their signal strength. It had my location still. Even got an error on zipcode was in invalid but was not and it use location still no luck. Try installing on new device with same results.

Has easy setup, b-u-t I only care about 7 major channels in my area and the app only shows 6... and I can receive up to 64. . I tried several other zip codes all around the LA basin. . Fine, I might accept a brain dead listing but the display format is fixed. Period. Full Stop. . To put the nail in the coffin, I could not cancel out of the app easily and that is a danger signal for me. . Nope, uninstalling.

The app works well. It even gives the season and episode # of most shows; which is a great help.My only problem is; you give no option to choose your channels...of which I have about 15 or 20 that are either duplicates or unnecessary, as they're not in our area. It would be great if this feature was added.

This is the only app I found that's closest to the TV Guide. We disconnected our cable due to cost. This has been very helpful in pin-pointing most of the channels we get. I only wish I could find some way to get the ION channel. I would definitely recommend this app for no cable channels. Thx 4 this handy helper. Appreciate it & look foeward to future updates.

It does what it's supposed to do, consistently. Can't ask for more than that. Thx for developing an app that functions as advertised. 11-20-19: the TV guide no longer works. I've uninstalled and reinstalled it without success. Your app hasn't been updated since July 2018, so it's safe to say that it's been abandoned. Permanently uninstalling.

There are several stations that are a bit far for my antenna and I am unable to delete them from the page. Also, I live on the Eastern and Central time line so I get a shows at 8 and can watch it again at 9 in the other time zone when the station is not too far. I would like to be able to delete channels that I can't get or don't watch. That would make it perfect, now I have several pages of items that I can't get at all, not good. Please tell me that I am an idiot and just can't figure it out. That would be fine as well.

Excellent! I love it and especially Love it for my older parents (who don't keep up with all the new technology), but they definetly wanted their local channels, so to get the local news and most definetly local weather!! so this app has been very easy to use and very, very helpful. best part is you even find a good selection of tv beyond local ch.'s like fox, cw, decades, retro, investigative ch. ETC. def. worth 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 👍and best part is its all completely FREE ☺

This app used to be great but not anymore. It can't seem to get my location right. Keeps saying I in another state, hundreds of miles away, no matter how many times (or WAYS) I reset it. It also gives the "Error 404" code a LOT. Now it seems that channel 5, the Cozi Tv channel has disappeared from the list even when it is "working". I don't know what you guys did to this app...It used to be wonderful...But now it is TERRIBLE! If you don't get your app FIXED SOON I will be forced to uninstall!!!

Works well, except does not give you option to give mileage range to get more accurate channel list. outdoor antenna with booster will get over 80 miles. Would also like good tower map at that range so I know where stations are from. This is worthless unless you are wthin 30 miles of tower. It does not consider you using an outdoor antenna with a booster.

I have used this app for a couple of weeks. Used it to aim outdoor antenna. It gives good direction to your local air TV towers. I have continued using app for the TV guide. It gives you the local channels and is customizable. Good news for local channels also. This is a good functional and useful app.

I do not get why the app you can not set up your own buy picking the channels you get only. Then open it to see whats on your picked channels only. And be able to look ahead at whats on in the nexted four or more hours. What I do not like is just on this small amount to use the app showing all your channels in your area runs way to choppy when you try and move guide to see what's on a higher or lower channel. This is the worse running app I have ever used. Poor guide movement !

As a person who loves classic television and Classic Movies, this app is one day I use every single day.(There are so many channels that there is always a handful showing classic content). Also, it helped me find an antenna that pulls in many more stations than the one that was included with the Fire Stick.

Typically the app is reliable. However, past 2 weeks or more the guide is not loading. Keep getting an error that says 'the page has gone missing'. When working: it would be nice if we can see the guide for next 3-4 hours or so.

Would be a lot better if the guide didn't have so many errors loading. Server always seems to be having issues but other than that it's a great app. It will be much better once they add the ability to customize your channel lineup for the channels that you want to see up here in the app.

Worst user interface ever. Can't manually unlist channels that I don't get or want to see and can't add channels that I do get that it didn't list. It says "you get these channels" and that's it. I'm a programmer for 40 years. How hard is it to let the client side of the app store your channel view preferences? Answer, not hard at all.

I had to delete the app because it changed & showed cable channels. After reinstalling it, it worked fine. Unfortunately it will not allow me to set up a icon for a quick link.
