Noise Tracker
The Noise Tracker App is a real time noise monitoring application dedicated to evaluate noise levels in the surrounding environment as professional sound meter performs. This App will use the phone microphone to measure environmental noise levels (decibels) and display noise levels on the mobile screen. With this app, you can measure the current noise level emerging from various kind of sources efficiently and effectively. Simple operation and easy for handling.

Recommendations for the 'best' measurement:
- The smartphone microphone should not be hidden.
- The smartphone should not be in the pocket but should held on hand while noise measurements.
- Don’t make a noise on the back of the smartphone while monitoring noise.
- Keep a safe distance from the source during noise monitoring, otherwise it may harm you.

**Notes
This tool is not a professional device to measure decibels. Microphones in most android devices are aligned to human voice. The maximum values are limited by the device. Very loud sounds (over ~90 dB) may not be recognized in most devices. So please use it as just auxiliary tools. If you need more accurate dB values, we recommend an actual sound level meter for noise measurements.

Nice app, but requires work on permission level, like if i deny location permission app should show a dialog or some message that location permission is required for app and why. Also who is SK Lokhande and Mahindra C Jain? It should show the organisation's name instead of some person. Because it gives an impression that it is a fake/copy of a genuine app. And developer contact should have an email related to the organisation. Not some gmail id. Pls add chart with sound levels for locations.
Installed app and found it would not allow me to use it unless I allowed location tracking. Might be handy for some people but I should be able to choose if my location is tracked or not.
Very useful app.What is accuracy of same? Recorded data is acceptable in the legal cases? Please clarify . If its acceptable very useful for common man.

Amazing reading.Is it true or working properly.45 and 55 db sounds means absolute silence.If a feeble sounds hear the sound mette shows more than the permitted level.Pls check.

Allow access to mic to record sound yes but there is no need for location information.
