The best noise generating app. It features an option to generate and mix different noise colours. I can use it all night without plugging in my phone, as it doesn't use much power. All low scoring reviews are from people who have no clue what this app is designed to do, or don't know how to exclude it from the battery saving mode on their device. Your incompetence is not the developer's fault, the app is perfect.

I did not expect it to work, but it does. The "people" across the block started listening to music very loudly this week, and it's summer. So I have to let the air in! I got tired to open up loud music, so i downloaded the app. This is the first day using the app, and i hear almost nothing of their s.upid music!!! It emits kind of outdoor noise, so it is not disturbing (at least to me), at all. Thanks!!!

It does just as it says. I enjoy using brown noise with a little bit of red noise. I love that I can tweak the different kinds of noise to my preference. I really like how when the timer runs out, instead of just stopping, it fades out over several seconds, which helps to not wake you up. Over all, for those of us that need something to block out noise so we can actually rest, this is a fantastic app. Its free and it works when your phone is locked. 10/10.

When this app works it's great. However from time to time it stops suddenly even though the timer has about an hour left into its 78 minute countdown. Upon switching the lights on and waking up to mess about with it to reset the timer, the app then stops working again! Very frustrating. I wish this worked all the time instead of just most of the time.

So I love using this app, it's the only one I found with a low enough noise frequency for me to sleep to. Most other apps are way too high pitched, but the brown noise is what I love the most. My only problem is that sometimes I'll get a random popping/clicking noise that happens at random times through the app. Not sure why that's happening or if my house is haunted 😂😋 but it disrupts my sleep and sometimes I have to turn it off. Any reason why that might happen and can I do anything to fix it? I love the app! Thank you!!

I gave this application 3 stars only because it does a very good job at generating frequencies in any or all of the four bands. However I was searching for a noise cancellation app which would pick up sounds through the microphone of the phone and generate counter waves through the headphones in order to reduce ambient noise. this application does not do that in any way shape or form. it was the first to come up in the search, and the description made it sound like it might possibly do this.

Clear directions, easily accessible and minimal usage of battery. This app is a masterwork, i frankly don't understand the critical reviews. Perhaps they were using an earlier version of the app or confused this one with a different app. This app both far outshines other similar apps in it's simplicity and elegance of design. Two thumbs up, 10/10, 5 stars to you, well done developers.

DISTRACTED BY NOISES? GET THIS. It truly helps me prevent them from ruining my concentration. I have ADHD (& more). Honestly, this has changed my life. It really helps cut down all the world's little noises & distractions that always break my thoughts up. It's serious relief. It's stellar with binaural beats, & even for lulls during instrumental music. TURN ON "DO NOT DISTURB". PUT ON HEADPHONES. Full coverage are best; but tight earbuds can work. Kept low, the brown & red let me meditate better & longer than ever. This also helps me try to banish my anxiety, paranoia, and... more. (For me, aural therapy works way better than CBT.) DEVS: I desperately wish I could set a few presets. (hint, hint!)

Really effective at noise attenuation. Do you have any provision for ability to run in background with capability to Hear audio, uhf radio for example. I used this app last night. It held a constant volume. I set it for more minutes than my phone had left (which was plenty, but not enough for the full night.) The app dutifully ended only at shut down. I think this is probably the app you've been searching for. Kudos to its developers.

I love this app. I use it to study at the library and it really helps me stay focussed as I used to pop my head up at every sound. I prefer a combo of red and brown noise, which are the lower pitched noises. The white noise is much too grating for me.

It doesn't work any more in my Android 6 tablet. The sound starts beating as soon as the app is minimised. Anyhow, I still rate it five stars because in my Android 9 phone it works like a charm. Best noise generator in the entire Play Store, nuff said. I've tried all of them and the quality of the red noise in this one is superb. Thanks to the developer for creating an app that allows me to study in peace. I've passed many subjects thanks to the full concentration the Noise Wall provides me with.

Awesome app. At first use you will think that the noise it genarates is irritating but believe me, use it with music, you will not be able to trace its sound. it can easily block sound of neighborhood as said by developer. BUT DEVS, MAKE YOUR APP TO WORK EVEN WHEN CLEARED FROM RECENT APP.

It does what it should, in the best way it can. I mean it's not perfect, I can still hear my noisy neighbours, but it's far less annoying using the backround noise of this app. I use it with some nature ambience sounds from Youtube, this way the noise blocking result gets pretty good.

Love it!! I downloaded many such apps and found all the other noise they put in distracting...even the nature sounds (those make me fall asleep)... I wanted to study and the fact that I have lot of little cousins didn't help at all.......This app helped me a lot..... Btw I found the red noise the most un-distracting.

Please make this app work even when cleared in recent apps. I was going to buy the pro version thought that it will work that way but seeing a review about this issue, now I decided not to. Edit : It was my misunderstanding that work in bg means it will work even when cleared in recent app. Since it not, i'm fine with free version. Just cleared it manually and the sound stop playing. I guess I will save my money for other apps that work that way (if i found one).

Thanks a million for this app. My wife and I have been struggling with concentrating to read since we had a new noisy neighbour who I had appealed to on several occasions to turn down the volume of his music. In addition, we also wanted to move out of our apartment due to electrical generator noises in Nigeria where we reside. But thanks to this app, we are able to concentrate despite the noise and distractions around. The combination of the red and brown noises feels so natural and soothing.

Simple to use, works well for drowning out annoying neighbors / co-workers. It's a white noise app, so you can tune it until it blocks out the particular undesirable noise

There is a very startling gap in the noise that wakes me every ten minutes or so. Great variety of types of noises but that gap cancels out any effectiveness gained.

Was working great before but now it has noise in the noise. Making clicking noises randomly, very uncomfortable for trying to sleep. I'm very sad cuz this was my favorite night time app. Can you update so that the clicking noises go away? I put it on my good speaker and it's better but I still hear some low clicking here and there..

This is the best white noise app I've found and really allows you to tailor the pitch and everything! Only complaint is that they keep changing their app logo and it keeps confusing me.

Still the best Noise Generator app out there. Non obtrusive adds, easy to use and can play in background.

Does exactly what devs say it does. And does it well. I didn't really need it at present, but have in the past when I had less control over my workspace (music doesn't work for me) . I partly down'd it to negate the "beavis & butthead" reviews from clueless idiots. Good job devs, we need more simple practical tools like this.

This is a noise generator, not a noise cancelling app. But it's easy to use and works well even when phone is off.
