Doe the past month the articles often do not uldate and will be a day or so old. Takes several tries to get the artcles to update. Very poor performance.
Share feature does not work when trying to share stories via text message. On top of it, when you send an email to the address provided to submit bugs or issues, it returns a failure notice.
terrible app coders. for over a year, i could read the articles but not see the pictures affiliated with them. now i can see the pictures but can't read the articles because the words are superimposed over each other. definitely need one of the other new Orleans media outlets to supplant these guys.
Like previous reviewers I am having problems viewing photos for articles. When you click on picture you get a non related photo. I've cleared the cache and the data. All to no avail. By now this issue should be fixed.
Share button doesn't work. It brings up the mail options but doesn't include the link to the story. Not something I'd post about, but there's no feedback or help link in the app, which I find really irritating.
The search function does not work. No matter what I type in it just shows a blank screen. I have an android with the latest updates, this is garbage. Uninstalling and going to try WWL - I need a dependable local news app
As I successfully log into nola, I'm unable to place an add due to having to do another log in of which is unsuccessful. My account and pass word is listed in my account on the web site. What's up. Other than that it's a great app.
Love the simplicity of the app design, but would love to see more in depth reporting as well as coverage of so many more stories than what's offered. It's good, but could be a bit more thorough
Usually this is a useful and legible app, but lately all the articles are black and unreadable. Update please, it been this way for too long now.
This app. recently updated doesn't have a control for push notifications. I don't want to be bombarded with constant notifications from this app.
App keeps crashing! When you click on the picture on the article you are reading a different picture from a different article appears!!!!
Does not allow me to turn off notifications for Sports and Football news. I hate sports, especially football. I got 4 messages today and 3 yesterday all about Saints football. I only want important news like national and state news, not 'who is good at throwing a ball today".
The App no longer works for me. It will not open. I have reinstalled the App several times but, nothing works.
have always been happy with app. i too cannot view text. its black background and is all jumbled up. fix it please!!!
The text shows in a black box and is unreadable. This problem has only started in the last few days.

hate it!! why fix something that wasn't broken in the first place! i liked the old app. it was easier to manage.
It was working fine until a few days ago. Now it won't open even after I uninstalled & reinstalled the app.
The app disappears as soon as you tap a story. Something is in serious need of repair.
Keeps stopping ,won't load and uses lots of data. Uninstalled it. Was very good now a burden.

No other app comes close to NOLA when it comes to Big Easy coverage! Also has national news and weather.
Annoying. Poorly Designed. When I click on a news alert, it does not bring me to the related news article. It does a content refresh then goes to the home page. Searching for keywords in the alert does not locate the news article. Everytime you open this app, a content refresh pop up covers entire screen. Sometimes, opening the app repeatedly opens an article that you read the day before.
