I've tried a lot of different apps to help stop all the robocalls, however, this app has been the best. It's easy to use and extremely reliable! I went from (wish I was joking) 10-15 calls a day to 4-6 a week. It's nice to be able to turn my ringtone back on! I like how the app doesn't completely take over my phone log like other apps, too. Love the price! If you guys create a text message spam blocker app I'd be more than willing to try it!

The premium version does not block most spam calls. Changing settings does not help. The calls are reported as spam or fraud, but still ring or go to voicemail anyway. The free landline version of Nomorobo I have through Xfinity seems to work much better. I switched to Hiya premium on my cellphone and it is very effective!

I signed up for the app one year ago. For the first few months or so it worked well, but I've noticed in recent months that it was missing a large number of junk calls. So, I decided to review the call logs for the last 6 months. Over 6 months, Nomorobo had an 80% failure rate (it only blocked 20% of incoming junk calls). In the last 3 months it had an 88% failure rate, and in the last 30 days a 90% failure rate. Clearly something is slipping or they're not adapting to newer tactics. For some, $2/mo. for something that blocks even 10% of junk calls may be worth it. However, given that Netflix is able to offer a basic subscription for $9/mo. with the extremely high content costs they pay, the $2/mo for this unreliable and simple service seems outrageous by comparison. If this service were free, incurred a one-time cost, or was even a bit cheaper, I'd have a higher regard for it.

Zero Support. I have this app on two different phones. On both phones, I've asked repeatedly for a better way to move from monthly billing to annual. The only choice is to cancel the subscription and then restart it but every time I do, it reverts back to monthly billing. On one phone the app works well and I am able to report numbers. On the second phone, every single time I try to report a number, the app fails. I have submitted this issue 12 to 15 times and I get no response.

It did seem to block a few annoying calls. I especially liked that it seemed to cut down on the local spoofed calls that I received. However, I had to delete the app and cancel the subscription because: 1) There was no log of calls blocked. It was impossible to tell if it was working well and blocking numbers that it should block, or if it was also blocking important numbers that I wanted to receive. I had a couple of instances of voicemails received from people when my phone never rang, leading me to suspect that Nomorobo sent some good numbers to voicemail. 2) Having the app installed eliminates the option to block numbers and report spam manually by long pressing the phone number in the Recents menu and selecting from the pop-up menu. Since it only blocks robocalls supposedly, it doesn't block other numbers that it can't identify correctly but are nevertheless spam. There's a report feature within the app, but it's not nearly as convenient or integrated.

Worked great at first. Blocked all spam/fraud/spoofed calls wonderfully. Decided to subscribe. Worked great for a month or two, and now it doesn't stop a single call. Being bombarded just as bad as before the app if not worse, and it doesn't catch a single one. Had to cancel. Wish it was as good as it once was.

The app works well in theory. I had technical issues where using this app as the primary phone app (which is required for the app to work fully) caused my not not be notified and miss calls from my contacts. Now, you can white list numbers, and these contacts were all whitelisted. Yet the calls still went immediately to voicemail with no notification to me, other than them texting me and telling me they called.

Program began crashing within a week, whenever "review log" selected. Crash, crash, crash. When "Report" is selected you are forced into acceptance of some Google "terms of service" instead. Frack that. I DISRECOMEND this app. Pending resolution of this problem. ************************* :-) Update: Deleting and reloading seems to have resolved crash problem. RECOMENDATION RESTORED! :-)

Works for the home phone, not the mobile. I'm still getting pestered about my non-existent auto warranty. I need my phone for work. Thankfully, I took a month-to-month plan, and figured it out after the first payment. The other downside is there is no money back if the app doesn't work. It's funny how the free version works and the pay version doesn't.

Downloaded it. Had an issue. Used their contact form to ask for help. Have not heard back. Will be uninstalling based upon lack of response AND the plethora of negative reviews. Good grief! With all the hype and TV ads one would think they would want to attract and keep newbies. Guess not. Sayonara! P.S. Many thanks to those of you who posted your experiences. Saved me from making a mistake as I was going to pay for the year. I can only imagine what effort it would take to uninstall and request a refund. Great job, ladies and gentlemen. ✅

The others were correct Support was there but far and few between and not helpful with a person who does not understand all the places to go and select from for products resolution. This issue was a result of changing phone and they could not tell me how to get it on my new phone after a month. I paid for the year and was not using it, the product worked very well when i first got it.

I don't want all numbers I don't know automatically blocked or sent to voicemail. The app gives me two options, I choose appropriately, yet I'm unaware that a call has been decided upon, for me; unless it's a caller stored in my contacts. I would like to be made aware of each call attempted to me, regardless of it's listing in your data. I want the option/freedom to decide if a call is "robo" by definition. I may want to pay a debt that a thousand other subscribers don't. So they block that #.

Does a good job of cutting down robocalls specifically, particularly without cluttering up notifications with the blocked calls, as some aps do. It would be nice if there were some manual features available, especially as a subscription-based service, such as area code/state blocking to eliminate"neighbor" spoofing entirely instead of reporting numbers one by one.

It's hard to describe exactly how worthless this app is. I paid for premium, spent 20 minutes configuring it and it just didn't work. Calls got through and weirdly it didn't even identify old spam calls as spam. This app is clearly broken or in need of a full update and overhaul. I tried Hiya instead, it just works. I've never reported an app before but this one is getting reported. Just shockingly bad.

Dan. P. Jul 11, 2021

I've been using this for several years but in the last month the app has stopped working. It asks to be the default phone app but when I select it as the default phone app I'm unable to make phone calls through the Android phone app (v 9). The Android phone app wants to be the default app too. If one app is the default the other one does not work. I've contacted customer support but they have not provided any solution so far. I'm discontinuing my subscription to this app and uninstalling it.

Mic. A. Dec 9, 2021

Paid for a yearly subscription every year for 4 years. The service was never very good at detecting spam calls and has gotten worse over the last year or so. Maybe 1 out of 10 at best. I kept hoping their technology would improve but I can no longer justify the expense. Canceled.

Wil. M. I. Feb 26, 2022

As bad as all the reviews state. The app is bad. I still get obvious robocalls like "V428531.." etc. I have no idea what a "refresh" means when I open Noborobo. The app's notifications open and get in the way of my Android phone app anytime I make a call, get a call, so that I cannot use the quick "answer" "reject" buttons.

Jim. J. Jan 12, 2022

It does a good job of identifying Robocalls, but doesn't have a "white list" so it identifies legitimate calls as "unidentified caller". It doesn't seem to block such OK calls, but a "white list" and an easy way to add numbers would get it a higher rating.

Gar. B. Dec 14, 2021

I paid for this used it a year and they automatically charged my bank and when I requested a refund, it was not paid. It went against their refund policy. DO NOT use this app, because most of the time it seems wo work poorly on my phone. I don't suggest any company be used that will not stand behind their product and issue full refunds. I'm not a happy camper.

Ada. S. Feb 2, 2022

Subscription Only but lised as a free app. I refuse rent software, so that alone is a dealbreaker. Additionally, if an app is going to have access to call data, contacts, and more, it should be open source and auditable.

You all are using the wrong app. Download You mail! its literally the best app! You have options to set low medium & high risk scammers It gives you your own voicemail thru the app. Even if a few get by the voicemail is sent to the you mail act. You can just delete them if you know its a spammer. I can even choose for scammers who call me to get a disconnect message for my phone number. BTW it's 100% free! YOU'RE WELCOME 😉

so discouragimg! i had a monthly service which worked fine until i switched to an annual. Disaster! when i tried to check it, i was yold that my subscription had expired and no amount of trying would get me out if thrir continuous loop. more enails asking for a fix were a useless waste of my timen dont waste yours -' there's good reaspm why the have a 2.1 review!! Dont expect a refund if you cancel -- just dont! They have your money; don't expect them to service your account too!

A. G. u. Apr 11, 2019

-UPDATE AT BOTTOM- I downloaded this today. And no joke, within 3 minutes, I got a RoboCall for a car Warranty... I gave 3 stars due to the fact that it was not on "Blocked (Sent to Voicemail)". I will update the rating in a few days depending on what happens. -UPDATE- I continue to get the unwanted calls, despite using this. I will be canceling my subscription with in a few minutes.

Sorry this app hasn't stopped annoying phone calls. I wasn't alerted until I answered the phone. I'm using the free trial. I won't be paying for a service that lacks. The real reviews of negative feedback on this app are true. The website is deceiving with it's positive feedback saying this app works great. Don't waste ur money.

Kat. Y. Sep 4, 2021

This is the worst app. Cannot get help from this company other than reinstall which I have done but still lets calls go thru ringing and then letting it go to my voice mail. Now they think they have viable no. and my calls have increased 60%. Called Verizon FINALLY and they said they have had numerous calls about them. My android note 9 is not compatible with nomo. There system has not updated for new technology as they started out on landlines to begin with. I cannot get my money back either.

A. G. u. Jun 27, 2019

I been using this for about two to three months now and have to say it absolutely does as advertised. The yearly price is worth the while when it comes to stopping those annoying robocalls. Great product. One thing I would like to see added as a feature: the ability to clear the call logs.

A. G. u. Oct 15, 2018

I wouldn't waste my time with this app. It only identified two incoming spam phone calls during my trial period. All others got through with no detection. The most annoying feature of this app is that you're forced to either have the calls ring your phone with a notification that it is a suspected robocall or send them to voicemail. As a Sprint Customer, if I receive a voicemail I have an alert icon in my top screen banner that will not go away until I call my voicemail phone number and clear it. This is more annoying than the robocall itself. If it is a suspected robocall why not just terminate the call? The landline functionality of Nomorobo allows one ring on your house phone before it terminates the call. No voice mail, nothing else. Nice. I'm uninstalling this app.

Jai. A. Dec 24, 2020

It blocked robocalls but the minute I installed it, I couldn't send or receive text messages. This made it nearly impossible to do my job at work with a lot of people out remote. Had to cancel the subscription and uninstall. Texting started working again after I uninstalled.

I have found this app helpful on my old phone (Samsung Galaxy S7) but since I updated just recently to a Galaxy S9+, the app does nothing but crash. I would like to put this to use since I have paid for it, so it would be great to get some support and troubleshooting to see what can be done to make it functional.

A. G. u. Sep 29, 2019

The large majority of my spam calls are from spoofed phone numbers close to my number. This app won't block them. And while the help page says there is an option for all calls not from numbers on my contacts list to be automatically sent to voicemail, there is no such option in the settings. This makes this app useless to me.
