It's of absolutely no use in most supermarkets. I tried scanning dozens of items and didn't find any that this product recognizes.
As they said..i tried scanning product at 2 diff stores..did NOTHING im deleting i hate apps anyway this was my first time bothering to turn my phone on and use it during shopping what a waste of my time Pure Hype
Useless app. Everything I scanned wasn't in their data base.
Doesn't work. Limited database, report link nonresponsive. Worthless.

This is a very useful app. It does list A LOT of Non-GMO products, on it's app WITHOUT scanning anything. It also helps you locate markets that carry Non-GMO products in your local & surrounding area markets. I'm very happy I downloaded this app!
Waste of space it only works for it's non GMO project verified products that are verified. There is no real GMO checker out here. I scanned several organic products because I only eat non GMO or organic and they are not in the system but anything with their seal is smh!!!
Only work for their selected product
This is a very useful app to store ideas for food in your phone that are safe and healthy. I'm not sure about anyone else, but whenever I go into a store I don't know what to get cause of the terrible food industry. This can help you remember what items you've got befor and if you like them, hopefully make the smart conscience decision get the same items again. THE BAR SCANNER WORKS WONDERS. This is a step in the right direction
Hi could you please make a filter on brands for stuff sold in Canada. I was recently diagnosed with Chrons disease and avoiding gmo's is paramount for my health. I have to be a huge supporter of you project or I'll be looking at surgery sooner rather then later. Your app is great I use the scan often but it would be really great to be able to see what companies are sold in Canada because so so many must be strictly sold in the United states because I've never heard of most of the companies. I noticed so many large food brands aren't listed at all like presidents choice, non-American, and kraft. Does this mean they have absolutely 0 non-gmo products? Your app is helpful but it definetly could go a few steps farther. Thanks so much for your efforts in this project.
If your scanning products with no non GMO labels it won't work. Every non GMO product I needed in which is all I buy period because food is being genetically modified and I can no longer eat those foods has worked with this app. I love it. I tells me what I choose is actually non GMO and I'm satisfied. Thanks for this app. Will continue to use it to benefit my health.
When I searched for a product it came up with no results, but when I manually looked for these products they were in the database. So the search engine is useless which kind of renders the app useless as it would take forever to manually search for every product I'm interested in.
Search feature does nothing... please fix. Scrolling forever til you find what your looking for is very tedious and time consuming
It doesn't work. I tried searching and it didn't work, so i went and tried to look in the categories and it gave me a list of brands... went to see what was sold near me and apparently there's nothing anywhere around me... except i know there is.
It never pulls up anything, I spend enough time in the store, reading labels, I thought this was going to be a big help, HA.. I want help with a quick way to make sure, my food won't turn, my family into half human, half lizard, half plant..
It's almost been a year and no update for the app. Could be very useful had the scanner and search features actually work.
Yes, you have to scroll a lot alphabetically. Still indispensable to me, use it all the time. Keep up the good work!
Pointless when nothing you scan comes up.
You need to be able to search for participating grocers by state or zip code. That search function not working. Took me over an hour to find stores in my area
From Aldi That do not show up in the database.
Many comments about how the search engine doesn't work. This is basic functionality. Get it fixed!

Ive had this app for 1 month and it still has ni data base. I just scanned 10 items and not 1 was in their data base. The only thing that IS in their data base, are items that already have their non gmo label on it. Great idea, but useless app. Cant wait to find an app like this that actually works.
I'm not going to give this app 5 stars JUST to battle some multi billion dollar government industry. I hate that industry as much as the next guy, but this app has a lot of potential and it just seems like someone is asleep at the wheel. Pistachios by Wonderful is verified and needs to be on the list. "Report a Problem" button needs to be fixed 6 months ago. Also, maybe someone should take the time to visit 5 supermarkets in every state and start scanning items so the app actually works.
