Good game - makes you think and use powers of elimination. Not perfect as there are two things I would like changed on B&W Nonogram: 1. An option to put in a question mark when considering a square. 2. Remove the toggle when selecting the block or cross so that when you tap a cross you get a cross and don't toggle to the block! On Colour Nonogram, I would like to see the options to select skill levels. I've done hundreds of puzzles and still get 10x10 to solve but never a 20x20! Too easy!!
Great game. I noticed there was a 'classic' mode which I find much more challenging and interesting (especially if you often miss a square -they're so little- and lose a life). I really enjoy the regular challenges but in my opinion there's too many puzzles to solve during the event and sometimes it gets boring to do so many easy puzzles in a row... Otherwise there aren't too many ads and the best part is : playing while wifi is off :)
I've been playing for a little over 2 weeks and i am addicted, however there are serious issues making me want to quit. The most important one is no backup feature, is it really that hard to add drive back up?. No zoom feature makes it nerve wrecking playing hard levels, can't even imagine playing expert ones. Lots of ads feel like it's a bloatware. There are better alternatives who handled all of these issues perfectly. I really don't want to quit because i enjoy and love the event side of it.
Overall, I enjoy this game & app, and I even paid to remove the ads. My only complaint-I mainly play the expert levels, so the grid is too small to accurately mark. I suggest a full screen, or zoom option. Because it's so easy to mark the incorrect spots, you will then too quickly go through your 3 lives- and even with the ad free & unlimited lives, you still get "out of lives" pop up, which is very aggravating. This pop up should be eliminated if you made the purchase or have a zoom/full screen
This is overall an excellent puzzle game, but there is one bug that I've found extremely annoying to the point of leaving a very negative review. Sometimes, when playing quickly, I'll tap the change mode button, then tap to put down a mark. The mode does not change in time, my mark is seen as incorrect, and I'll lose a life. Fix that bug, and this is a 5 star review, as I have no other significant problems with the app :)
Please turn off, or move, the "% of people finished the puzzle" popup. It is extremely annoying and just in the way. I dont care how many people finished the puzzle. I paid to disable popup ads, only to be replaced by a game popup. If there's a setting to turn it off, I couldn't find it. At least the ads could be disabled with Airplane mode... Please also make the stars a little smaller in the box. My monkey brain for some reason treats the box as completed because it looks full.
Good little puzzle game for killing time. -1 star for newer versions having added annoying "only % users could solve this" messages when starting every game with no way of disabling it. As fast as I solve most of these that pop-up is actually making me look for a new game and that's with the popups/ads disabled. Also the stars in the event modes almost fill a square and it looks filled in when rapidly scanning through table. Maybe find another way to display that.
I used to play this game all the time. Then you introduced the pop-up which you have gotten so much overwhelming negative feedback about! I tried to adjust and find a new rhythm, but nope. I can't lose myself in the game any more. There's that stupid pop-up making me wait in between each level for... hey, just about the same time an ad would. Srsly? The pop-up replaces an ad for paying customers? I'll be back if/when the pop-up is gone.
What other reviewers said. Used to be good, now it's being changed to keep people playing as much as possible with cheap tricks like 'only X% of players managed this level' (which is usually high 80s or 90s so why even bother?) Or the ridiculously high numbers of games for the daily tasks (sometimes 100 grids are required) and the stupid tournament - all just to get you to play one more level. I removed the ads, otherwise i would have gone crazy. No longer fun.
Developer, don't bother responding to this review unless you actually implement data backup. I've moved phones multiple times and each time lose all progress. They keep saying they will consider this in their updates, but haven't done so in the past two years. I bought the Google Play subscription just to get rid of the ads. I will probably not renew the next time it comes up because it's not worth losing progress every time you reset or switch phones.
I love this game, but this new feature that gives me an unwanted popup at the start of every single level telling me how many people have been able to pass the level (usually over 95% anyway, not a big deal) is really really annoying. There needs to be a way to turn it off because I don't even want to play anymore. And yes, the stars need to be smaller because I keep unconsciously mistaking them for filled-in squares.
I'm adding to those who are aggravated by the new "this percent passed this level" It's not needed and annoying. Please get rid of it. I'm changing from 5 starts to 4 until you remove it Love this game! The only improvements would be to make the needed numbers red and the ones already found black. The gray ones are too hard to see also, please make it so when a row is done you put the Xs in automatically like in the colored version
Ads can be a bit much, but the puzzles are fun. Sometimes there's no way to get the puzzle without the hints (when it's a 15x15 and all the clues are 7 or less). Update: paid for add free and it's the best way to experience this app! Started these types of puzzles by playing Pokemon Picross on 3DS. This is a great alternative and the puzzles are unique. Love it
The puzzles are great, and while I understand the creaters get paid via the ads...yeah no, the amount of ads in this app are ludicrous and unnecessary, cut the amount in half and don't do nearly as many effing 30 second ads that waste my time, and this app would be infinitely better. Getting an ad after every puzzle, often 2 to start a new one right after, then for extra lives and hints each. Editing to make it a 2, because the puzzles are still good.
I love this game and play multiple levels every day. The new update included a pop-up on EVERY LEVEL letting you know what percentage of people beat this level. I. Don't. Care. If people want it, fine, but I play 20-30 games a day and with each game lasting between a minute and 5 minutes, I see that stupid pop-up way too much. Give us an option to disable it please.
My main complaint is about "today's goals". If I want the secret level today I have to do 80 puzzles which could take over 2 hours(far more time than i want to invest), worse still if I complete it I'll need to do 100 tomorrow. I'm better off just skipping it today and getting dropped down to 50. Basically the system rewards only playing every other day for a consistent challenge. I'd prefer a system that had a set amount (25-30ish) each day to do and not push me to do more and more.
I like the game, but the ads that are currently playing on it are broken. Once the ad is finished, it can't be closed and it just sits on the screen unsettled l indefinitely. I have to close the app entirely and reopen it whenever an ad plays. This needs to be fixed or I'm uninstalling it.
An fun brain teaser, Nonogram is an excellent way to pass time whether you only do one puzzle or more! I highly recommend buying the premium option to bypass ads if this is going to be one of your staple games. The biggest downside right now is that all progress is lost between devices but hopefully that will change. Personally I would like to see some more accessibility options as I play on my phone & with poor eyesight, pressing the smaller squares can be quite troublesome. Thank you!
Intrusive ads EDIT: Okay, so to elaborate. There are ads after almost every board. Often they're unskippable video ads that last a minute. There are also animated ads INSIDE the boards. And the functionality... isn't that great? Nor good enough for me to spend 5 bucks (which is a reasonable price) to remove the ads. There's no way to zoom or erase your marks. I have no idea how this would work on harder boards, I didn't get that far.
Relaxing and distracting game. Edit: The new daily secret puzzle that's locked behind a set of objectives is good but the requirements can be a bit much. One of the requirements I've seen pop up (sometimes multiple days in a row) is to complete 100 puzzles in one day to open the secret puzzle and that's on top of other things you already have to do to unlock it. Even choosing easy ones to do, it feels like too much for just one extra puzzle unlock.
Dropping my rating until it's fixed. Is there any way to get rid of that little thing each time you start saying "only this % of people were able to finish!"? I'm fine with the ads, but that big bar showing up every time you start just kills the zen mode of the game, especially when it's something I don't care about. I know it's small, but it's such a nagging little change with no way I can find to turn it off.
It's a fairly straight forward game. There are regular "tournaments" along with daily puzzles. You can also do random puzzles of varying difficulty which is expected but also fun. I find it to be quite peaceful and relaxing to play. Only issue is ads, like most similar games, they play way too often especially if you play through puzzles quickly. Essentially the better you are at the puzzles the more ads you'll see in once sitting which (personally) brings me out of the fun a bit. Still great👍
I used to be able to click on my completed Awards to watch the animations but clicking on them does nothing anymore. Which is disappointing as some of them I invested a lot of time in completing. It would be great if that was fixed. Game is great otherwise! Thanks!
Game does not include a zoom feature. Expects user to precisely mark squares when each square is smaller than a finger tip. 9 squares can easily fit under my index finger. I do not have particularly large hands, and do not have a small phone (S20+). Game is effectively unplayable and worthless due to this UI oversight.
While I am hopelessly addicted to this game, I wish there was a way to eliminate inappropriate ads. How can I chose my preferences? Many are NSFW and I have never clicked on any of them. Also, many times when an ad ends, there is no x button to close it out. I need to close the game and reopen it every time to continue playing.
I was very fond of this game and played it almost everyday. But then out of nowhere it started crashing, and by time it got to the point where I cant even open it anymore. (As soon as I open the game the screen turns white and then crashes saying the app has stopped) Uninstalling and installing didn't work, nor did clearing the cache and data of the game. Hope you can fix this Thank you
