NoNonsense Notes

Some apps have great looking UI, but forget that point of an app is to deliver a set of features and not only design, so I was really glad when I found this app which focus on what's important. Nice and simple!

Open source equivalent of GTasks and Tasks Free. Both of which are good. But this is better, simpler, and open source. It also handles multiple accounts, although its UI doesn't make that clear. Just sign into the second one in settings. CORRECTION: I seem to have lost this ability and in fact the whole programme no longer syncs to either account properly. Strange. Also, if sync fails, uninstalling and re-installing seems to help.

Like the simplicity. Easy to use, neat and clean design. Would like to be able to attach pictures and files to notes. Other than that great app.

I used to use it to keep tablet and phone notes, now loses notes and won't sync at all on either device. Sad 'cos it was just what I needed.

Great works. Sync to SD is very nice. Could you please add sync to caldav with vtodo and simple vjournal. Thanks..

The interface is great. It's a bit awkward because it's shoehorning general notes into Google's 'tasks' but that's understandable. Except that it almost never succeeds in syncing notes, and never tells my why it failed.

Crashes every time I try to open it (on Galaxy s5)

I just want to jot stuff down not date and time it..... Not simple enough, just need to write and save that is all. . . Looking for a notepad like on windows you click it you write that is it.

Love it, perfect for my purposes, easy and simple but full featured. Only issue I'm having is that widget doesn't update when sorted by due date, ie it still says "tomorrow" when it actually is today.

I would rather say that at least the 'skyrim' is simpler than that, but the app is very useful

App has so much potential; although, it's inability to sync time is clearly a pitfall for me. I would pay for such functionality.

Unfortunately not getting sync with other device, even though every possibility is mentioned in settings. Please help.

Locked notes keep unlocking themselves, notes keep rearranging themselves, and I keep getting archived notes showing back up in my lists frequently. This app was high on my list, but its beginning to get annoying.

The developer fixed the app and made it work again a while back. It's amazing.

Can you please make it so I can tap anywhere on the app/widget to create a note? Looking for the plus sign to make a note is sometimes inconvenient.

just like it says, this app is nononsense. it's not a pretty app, but it works seamlessly with google tasks and that's all i need. i tried other todo apps but they had too many bells and whistles and all i needed was task lists. period. and when i changed phones, i just installed this and all my tasks were sync'ed right back up from google tasks. great for my shopping or just jotting down a thought for later. (updated review since they fixed some bugs)

Been using this for many years since s4, now using Note 4! Nothing compares due to this apps simplicity and functionality. Others out there either try to much or have too much going on.. Gets tiresome especially when you just need a 'to do' list. One suggestion would be more refinement in the Material Design UI. Still feels a lot like jelly bean/kit kat. That and perhaps more theme options? Oh and updated notification icon? Otherwise thanks for a great app.

Excellent. Unique. The only app I found (among plenty of Todo, timers, planners) which allows to choose as much recurrent deadlines as needed and wanted for the same note. Thank you.
