This app was great when I first installed it, but now it just diesn't work! I was relying on it to boost my recovery after a recent total knee replacement, but it's been such a disappointment. I make sure it's on and working when I set off on a long walk, then when I get back feeling proud but exhausted, there are, for example, 3 steps recorded. Imagine how soul destroying this is when you feel you've done about 11,000!! I could cry. No sure what to do to get it to work. Any ideas please?

Links with the Noom weight loss app, but now that app does not count properly. This app counts more than I step. I put my phone on my dash mounted holder in my Jeep and the bumps and vibrations of the road seem to trigger steps. I walked over 1500 steps in a 20 mile round trip drive, when I walked maybe 80 steps. Need sensitivity dialed back a little. Doesn't to let you review the prior day.You can see last week, last month, but not yesterday. If you don't look before midnight, you're out of luck

Does not work on newer Android phones. It registered 397 steps all day while in my back pocket. From what I can tell, the app has to be running with the screen in to work. And not even the measly 397 steps it did record managed to sync to the noom app, which still has a big, fat zero. This app desperately needs an update!

The app worked OK for 6 months or so and then ca. March 2020 it stopped allowing me to add a comment about the day, which I had found quite useful (it says "Cannot Connect") I tried to contact Noom and they said up front that they were not going to reply or offer any support - so there you are. The app is only a step counter, which means that the results I get for the same walk every day vary by ca. +/- 20% (!/- 500 steps/3000). GPS-based are more consistent, but use more battery power.

The first thing that struck me as odd and a privacy invasion were the ridiculous app permission requirements. Identity - sure, contacts - no, photos/media/files - questionable, camera - no, device I.D. and call info - perhaps a subset. They want access to ALL that information. I'm not sure if Noom wants and stores all that info, or if it is just the case of lazy app developers. Buggy - sometimes does not record steps. Other better free solutions exist.

Noom is EXPENSIVE, so you'd think they could figure out a pedometer that works. I had hoped this app would sync with Noom and be better than the built in pedometer, but neither was the case. Developers, can you please at least give the option to link to another app?? All the compatible apps require a separate device like a Fitbit, which I'm not interested in spending money on- especially when other app-based pedometers work just fine.

Very intuitive interface, I just wish the pedometer worked more reliably :(. The other day I went on a walk for over an hour, the app said I walked 141 steps, and that wasn't the first time it hasn't counted a significant walk.

Worst app! Only downloaded bc I can't manually adjust the steps on the Noom app anymore. Kept saying steps were tracked in the Noom Pedometer, which doesn't even sync with the Noom app. I bought a fitness tracker almost an year ago, and have been using that and manually adjust my steps every day, and now I can't even do that! If I wasn't still on Noom, I'd delete both apps as they have been nothing but glitchy for a long time.

This app does not work properly on my Samsung 9 phone. It registers a fraction of the steps recorded by Samsung Health. I am constantly updating the steps manually on the Noom app. There's obviously some problem that is beyond my scope of knowledge to fix. Extremely frustrating.

The fact that you need a separate app to count steps in Noom is ridiculous. It's such a big part of their system, it should be built in. You have to launch it daily for it to work (compared with Google Fit and other apps that run in the background). It won't properly log steps. While Google Fit recorded 8800 steps, Noom recorded 87. Doesn't properly sync up with the Noom app which always reads 0. Overall infuriating. With how much money Noom is charging you'd expect to have something better.

I got this app since it is more or less accurate without eating up my battery. It does what it does well. I only switched away from this pedometer so I could sync with a new device that I just got. I got a good 2 years with this app and recommend it for anyone who doesn't need anything fancy.

Not linking to the Noom app. Total lack of settings or faqs to address that. Tried the actual app, too, which I have on trial, but you can't actually submit a support ticket there because you need to select an option from a menu that doesn't expand. Urgh.

This app does not work very well. It shows me my history as recently as December. I have no way of seeing how many steps I got yesterday or the day before. Also I stood still looking at my phone and the steps kept increasing and decreasing- very weird.

Easy you use, simple set up, refreshingly no ads. It doesn't seem accurate. Was on my feet all day yesterday and it didn't record a step for the last three days. Frustrating!

Viv. R. Feb 14, 2020

Very inaccurate. I am a little confused why this is even an app in itself. It is soooo basic you can't even change step distance. It does not load into the regular Noom app. I will try again later, but it is actually easier to use a different app and maually type it in manually into the regular Noom app.

It use to work automatically and count the steps but it's been a while is not counting. I check and uncheck the setting but does not work. It shows zero steps last few months in my history. ☹️😜

good pedometer and I like it. However, after the first day mine stopped syncing with the regular noom app so I have to input the info manually. fine, but not great. also I have to constantly uninstall and reinstall to get my history to show up. not loving that

Just downloaded this today to help me along with my Noom journey and this app is not compatible with a newer model droid device, WTH. You have got to be kidding me, and the last update for the app was 2016. The pedometer app doesn't even sync with the Noom app. I am very disappointed. Going to uninstall this. It's useless!

Please fix! This app used to be the best! Ive used this app on and off for years and it used to be the most accurate non-wearable pedometer I've ever tried. What happened? :( Update 12/30/2019: Still appears completely broken. I've tried it again on a new phone. What gives? You're advertising Noom like crazy but the integrated pedometer is still broken?
